Ok. So I walked into this med with a dog attack bites on me. And first thing the lady said was put a mask on. No greeting no nothing. She didn’t even have hers on properly. Also she was very grumpy with me and then told me at 2:30 that the next available appointment was at 6. Not at all acceptable. I left. Will not recommend this place. I had to make several appointments at this location and each visit they got me in quickly which was great. They are such an amazing staff and cannot thank them enough for all that they do. Thank you again to this amazing team💖By Abby Johnson (4 months ago)I just went here and I am terrified of doctors visits but I needed help and the 2 ladies at the front desk (Heather and Olivia) checked me in and they were so sweet, and it helped calm me down because it is so rare to find nice front desk people. The other 2 ladies (Danielle and Shannon) that did my vitals were so sweet as well and made me so comfortable. When Sam the provider came in, I was on the verge of having a panic attack because I was so scared but we ended up talking and she calmed me down so much without even trying. 10/10 recommend this place because of how amazing everyone in there was! 🙂By Alexis williams (2 months ago)The staff here is amazing. Came in on a Sunday afternoon around 1 & was told there was an opening at 2:30 which I was very thankful they did so I didn’t have to sit & wait that long in the waiting room. Check in process was quick & efficient. Location was clean & tidy. I felt that I was listened to & my appt was not rushed in the least bit. My insurance was giving me a hang up on a prescription & the staff empathized with me & helped me on correcting it. I will def being using this location as my go to in need. I have been dealing with respiratory issues the past couple of weeks (not covid related) and the Medac staff made my concerns their priority. The entire team from the front desk team member to the nurse practitioner to the doctor (Dr. Joseph Williamson), I was treated with respect & compassion.

The doctor said let’s be thorough and go ahead and do it just to be safe and it turned out I had early pneumonia. I usually save my spot online and have never had to wait a long time to be seen. They’re always professional and have provided me with excellent care. As a Veteran, my primary doctor is at the VA Clinic in Wilmington however it’s not always easy to get an appointment right away for urgent issues so I am truly grateful that I can come to Medac and be taken care of!By Leslie Sampson (a month ago)Did the hold my space online. There was still a significant wait after I arrived but that is to be expected. This is, after all, still an urgent care. Staff was REALLY nice to me. Once in a room, nurse listened to all of my symptoms and I wasn’t made to feel rushed. The dr was attentive and polite. Thanked me for my patience and for bearing with them. More people need to upstanding that this is still a 1st come 1st serve walk-in facility. Waiting time was longer than usual, because several patients came in with urgent issues. As usual, the attendant was excellent and personable. So was the receptionist. Medac is a special place.

I made an appointment online for my son. The text messaging system was awesome. It literally gave me updates regularly so when we arrived we didn’t have to wait very long. I checked in on my phone. I got a call back and they spoke directly to my son which I liked. The doctor asked him a series of questions in order to treat him. Kimberly Lonneman has a wonderful bedside manner. She took the time answer all of my questions. When your child is sick you want a physician who listens to you and is compassionate. I’m very happy with our experience at Masonboro Urgent Care.
As always, my experience at Masonboro Urgent Care in Wilmington was unrivaled. Dr. Meyer has a great bedside manor and is very thorough in his evaluations. The entire staff was very pleasant and helpful. I have chosen Masonboro Urgent Care for all my health needs for almost 15 years. Highly recommended!
I really liked the option to check in on line and then notified when I was next to be seen! I was notified in plenty of time to come in to be seen. When I had a question (this was my 1st time for an urgent care) I called the number provided and a member of the staff answers the phone, not a recording with multiple options to choose from!!! The first time I went there was when my daughter had a middle ear infection. I felt that their attitude and service made me feel comfortable. My daughter had a fever for two days💊. Compared with those family doctors, I think their presence is more like family doctor.
