The staff are amazing!!!!! When I hurt me knee at work they were very hospitable and caring in making sure the physical therapy would help me heal. I really appreciate all the help from the doctors, nurses, physical therapists and the other healthcare staff. They were more caring and supportive than my workplace. I also recently visited to get a physical exam done for work and they were very kind. The place opens at 8am and if you arrive early you have more chances of getting everything done within an hour or hour and half the latest. Every time I have gone in for an appointment I wasn’t seen or even brought back to the room till 15 minutes after my appointment time. Recently, I had an appointment at 1100 and didn’t get seen till 1200. I was only seen for 15 minutes and finally left at 1230. Tried to ask me to stay for PT. Which was optional and I left. People set appointments for a reason. That being said. After waiting 3 hours, I was called to start my exams and I was greeted by a first time MA that had no access to perform my exams or know how to. I then waited for an additional 30 minutes for her to grab someone that knew how to conduct my exams. I then proceeded to wait for my last exam and the physician had sent me away and I had to correct him that I was waiting for my last exam and after reviewing my folder twice, he corrected himself and I proceeded to wait for my final assessment. The workers were going as fast as they humanly could. The doctor I talked to that helped me with my physical was great. She even asked me if I was feeling better after she had seen some self harm scars on my arms. She didn’t have to ask me about them but she made me feel seen and cared for. And we had a great conversation. The front desk staff was very welcoming and kept me informed of any wait times. Ashley M waited on me and took me to the back and handled me with care. She was great! She explained everything to me and let me know what was to be expected and what I needed to do…She took her time with me and my procedures that were needed to be done…Her patience was greatly appreciated as I asked a lot questions…Ashley M deserves a medal 🏅 and I would definitely return to that location for services!
(Applying 2 stars simply for the staff but everything else was ridiculous) Was sent here for a pre-employment drug screen. They were running about 90 minutes behind so we had to wait. Regardless of having an appointment or not. Also their refrigerator was broken so they were unable to store samples. Staff were professional and nice. But for the amount of appointments and walk-ins they have per hour there is nowhere near enough seating in the 12×8’ waiting room. There was about 5 chairs in total and some people sitting on the ground and a line waiting for check-in, from the counter to the door.
The wait time when you come in is almost always 6 hours. I checked in multiple times for a physical and was told, “Oh, it’ll be about a 1-2 hour wait.” After the 2nd hour, I checked in and they tacked on an additional 2 hours. On and on that went until 6 hours goes by. It didn’t seem that others faired any better WITH an appointment. I overheard one individual complain to the front staff, “Even with an appointment, I wait for 3 hours!” To which the front staff abruptly interrupted and said, “You don’t have to wait here!” Often the suggestion is to simply “go shopping” or “go home and we will call you back later… Those are NOT appropriate options for most individuals. Some of us drive 20-30 minutes to visit these locations – going home and back after arriving is FOUR trips. Do they not understand that GAS costs? I’m not sure why there is such an issue with overbooking at these locations, but that is a huge issue. I came in on a Wednesday and overheard that they needed to reschedule appointments for people that were to come in on Friday! Some people were rescheduled WEEKS later. I’m surprised that this organization is so popular. The only thing I can think of (employer wise) is that it’s incredibly inexpensive to send your employees here… Which doesn’t look so great on the hiring organization but that’s another matter. Hopefully this business actually considers it’s reviews and makes appropriate change. I dread going here. Aside from that, the people working here are kind and just doing their best, and for that I think Concentra is simply fortunate because I’d hate to be employed by them.
There were so many people there first thing in the morning. If you were there for a physical you had to sign a paper saying you understood you were potentially going to wait 5-6 hours to be seen. You would figure they would schedule those I understand it’s a walk in clinic but there are other Concentras in the area, try to disperse the masses. There were people standing everywhere in the waiting room just a real miserable experience.
I took three separate visits to get my TB and drug screening done this is not including the reading of the TB. The first time I understand as it was a Thursday and they were not open Saturday. The next time I tried to go I attempted get through the phone line for 2 hours no one answered. I drove to site to be told
