Kids where sick. We called because we live out of town. They said come. Wife gets there and they said not taking more patients till 5 pm. Very, very rude woman at the window. I could almost understand if they were busy, they were not. Not one person in the waiting room other than myself. I will give bad reviews on them all day long. Mrs Redix was great, she set doors and allowed me to tell her my concerns, smiled and showed empathy. This was a good visit, I’m feeling better.

Niche areas of this hospital are top notch. However, the vast majority of the hospital lack competency, professionalism, care and respect. There seems to be a complete disregard for outlining and adhering to patient care plans and then communicating those plans to staff and family members. A noticeable atmosphere of disorganization. None of the staff seem to have any idea or concern of operational plans, procedures, and excution before or after their shift. I will never allow myself or my family members to be admitted to this hospital again. We will go to Little Rock from now on and I advise anyone reading this to do the same.
This hospital must be employed with people that were rejects from spin off medical shows. I took my daughter there got there, and after sitting in the waiting room five hours, a lady called for us to register. Then they swabbed my daughter in the waiting room, I guess patient privacy isn’t practiced in this hospital. Then the doctor came to the triage room to talk to us for a brief moment then was sent back to the waiting room. I would not take a stray dog there for care. Thank God I don’t have to deal with this because I was in the area to see family. But I feel sorry for those that have to go Deal with the incompetent, slow people that are employed ( because they sure don’t work) there.
I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is a sorry excuse for hospital. My father had health issues and would have to keep going to this place multiple times a month. They never got to the source of the problem and would offer more medication to him. They are a BIG part of the reason I’m without him today (Christmas Day). My father passed on December 4th 2022 at this hospital and they were unable to tell me the cause of his death. Do not go to or take your loved ones here!!
My wife came in for problems breathing it took almost what may have been 8 hours just to get an up draft then the doctor told us he wants to keep her over night which would be fine but we are being told not enough staff up stairs but plenty of beds so she’s sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress in the ER and if you are in pain or want and up date on anything you have to hunt down someone instead of them checking on you what is the point in observing a patient if you don’t hear or see anybody for hours and for me not being the patient having to sit in a chair for over 8 hours wii take a toll on a person I we are not the only patients in here but my goodness then the people at the front desk who has seen me what seems to be like 100 times passing through acts like it’s my first visit to go back and see my wife, but I’ve been here all day with her almost they could definitely go on a hiring spree and get more staff hopefully something more could be done
Every experience I have had here has been a good one. Surgeries, child birth, lab work, even emergency room visits. Yes, wait times were occasionally a little long, but still reasonable. Great doctors and nurses!
