When I asked the receptionist why it keeps happening she gave me attitude, tried to cuss me out and called security and all I kept trying to get is an answer why they keep doing that?
Finally the supervisor was able to help and said she’s going to look into the scheduling more because they don’t even know what the kids need they just scheduling to keep the office busy. Waiting for 3 hours. Started at 930. By 1230 it was a whole group of new people. When I asked how much longer they asked my name and told me there was 8 people ahead of me. The one thing I think is that medications need to be reviewed and called in in a more timely manner. Other than that the Physicians nurses and staff are wonderful. Great service! I was a walk in patient and was treated within the hour and a half. The receptionist was super nice and helpful. The system to check in was user friendly. I had a very important errand to run during the wait and she let me go and called me when they were ready to assist me. The MA and doctor were super nice and made me feel comfortable. I also needed my phone charged and the staff charged it for me so I could call my ride. The clinic was clean and I felt better after my visit and will definitely recommend all my friend and family to this place. Thank you again!
I took my husband in for a lung infection.The staff was nice particularly the nurse. We waited a long time to see the Dr. When we did, he was rude and yelled at me. I ended up taking him to ER. For a Dr with so much experience, he could not seem to handle the stress. He told us not to come back. He was too booked and mentioned that he had been there a long time.
I’ve seen NP Gloria Coats twice and been treated very compassionately. They got me in quickly as a “walk-in” when I fractured my left ankle. The admitting assistants are excellent too.
I like that this office is just across from the Modesto Radiology Building on McHenry Ave.
The only suggestion I would make is that they would provide a set of “loaner crutches” for use in going across the street to get a needed X-ray.
Would have seriously saved me major pain.
I’m an ER nurse from out of town and had to bring my son in to Elite while visiting family for the holidays and I was impressed. They have MDs working, they do IVs if you need that, they can do fast lab work and seemed really efficient! I felt like I got good care even though they were really busy. I’ll go there again if we find ourselves in this position again!
4 stars just because I had an appointment for 9:20 and didn’t get called back until 9:50, but that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays.
I’ve been to Dr. Basi a few times over the last year, and he’s a great Dr. While you may only spend a few minutes with him, he really listens to you, and then explains the outcome. Every time I’ve gone in, it’s been different nursing staff, but each one that has helped me has been very kind and friendly. Great urgent care here in Modesto!
