We are waiting in a room as I type this, after waiting two (2) hours in the waiting room itself. They do not understand their own verbal wait times they tell customers (yes, customers. We are nothing but customers), we were told one (1) hour. Here we are going on the the three (3) hour mark and still no doctor. But all the waiting is normal – medical always sucks in this regards. With all that being said, the staff here were spot on and the doctor 100% seemed to actually care. Overall, great experience and will be our go to urgent care.By Randall (5 months ago)Do not recommend this urgent care. We waited for over 45 minutes. The doctor said there was nothing wrong that and stated my sons tonsils were swollen. I had mentioned on the form they had us filled out prior to being seen that he had a tonsillectomy back in may. The doctor told me his anatomy was different not to mention the form I had filled out was in his hand. So not only did he not look at his past medical history, but for being a doctor he didn’t know his anatomy or take the time to look at the paper. When asking the nurse if he was a doctor or a nurse practitioner she giggled and replied he was a doctor and asked why I had asked the question and told her what had happened. She laughed loudly and thought it was funny. This place is very unprofessional and the front staff would make me get up after barely sitting down just to hand me my cards and asked us to put a mask after majority of there lobby was not masked up. I will never return to the clinic. Bedside manner is awful for doctor and nurse. I came in and was greeting by a very nice guy and had a very short wait. They took me back to a room – very short wait. I had active vomiting and the other thing that accompanies it, and they took care of me in a professional manner and explained how to manage it and called in a prescription right away. Great bedside, very nice to me as they could see i was miserable and I wasn’t very nice back. This is the best experience of a walk in clinic I have ever been to, and I am new to Lubbock. Thank you for your care and your empathy at a time I really needed it.By T B (4 months ago)I’m giving a 5 because my daughter’s nurse practitioner Aubrey Rodriguez was very helpful. She had ordered labs for my daughter to take to the lab in the hospital, which she did. The labs didn’t get processed, and Aubrey went out of her way to find out what had happened. Hopefully, in finding out where the process broke down at the lab will help them improve in the future. The staff was very efficient and friendly! The provider took the time to listen to my concerns. The X-ray technologist was kind and explained everything in great detail. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better team to take care of me when I was injured and in pain.
I went to Concentra Medical Clinic in Lubbock TX, for pre-employment tests/exam. The staff were EXCELLENT, EXPERIENCED, and KNOWLEDGEABLE. It was a very busy clinic, and as appropriate, Medical needs patients came first. Overall, I was taken care of, tested, labs drain, within 3 1/2 hours. I count that as a win! 🙂
I went in for a drug test and tb. The young lady that greeted me was great, but the other 2 were despicable. One of the lady’s was like the head nurse and I don’t know what the other does besides be bitter and not mind her own business. I felt somewhat discriminated by them. I feel the bitter one held some kinda bias against me as the tone she took with how she was addressing my situation was highly un-empathetic. I would love to give more stars cause the people who were working in the back were amazing, but I won’t because of these 2 ladies.
The nurse who took my hair sample was very impatient and rude.
She was in a hurry to take hair sample on my body without properly discussing the alternatives and also asking about how I felt.
She was really poor and acted unprofessionally.
Everyone working there was very respectful and nice to me they made me feel comfortable in there I would recommend concentra for top healthcare
