We loved it here! The staff are very skilled at providing a kid-friendly environment meant to happily distract and comfort children. My son enjoyed his visit, even though he was being seen for a possible brake in his hand! I will certainly return with any of my kiddos (5 boys) if the need arises.By J. Noah the PA sent in a prescription for the positive strep test and told us that there was a shortage on antibiotics but he wanted to try a pharmacy first. Well the pharmacy didn’t have the antibiotic we needed so we called Just 4 Kids and told us to come back and they would give my son the first dose to help my son. We went back and they where very caring and told us that they had sent a new prescription to our usual pharmacy! We were the only ones in there and we were treated with so much kindness by all the staff. My two year old had to come with me as we got my daughter checked out and they got him snacks, turned on shows for him and just made him comfortable which was so nice so I could focus on my sick doctor. I wish I could remember everyone’s names, because everybody we encountered was super friendly and helpful. The names I can remember are Briana at the front desk and Eric, the provider. We see a lot of providers for a lot of specialties for my daughter. However, I must say after this visit, Eric ranks up there in the top 5 at least, maybe even top 3. He was extremely genuine, took my concerns and my daughter’s health seriously, and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. I drove up from Florida with a wound (hole) in my lower leg and did a walk in appointment. I visited 4 times over a month period and no matter who I say I felt everyone genuinely cared and had my best interest at heart. The staff is very knowledgeable and explained the treatment along with the expected outcome.
I just wanna take the time and think all of the nurses that worked on the 3rd floor in pediatrics room 303 for helping my family. I came from Oregon because my child was diagnosed with RSV and the nurses there helped so much I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me and my family. They made sure that she was OK and they always kept checking up on me and making sure that I was OK. Shout out to nurse kristie and nurse DQ for everything. I really appreciate everything that you’ve done for me and my family. This hospital has been the best experience especially since I am out of state they could not make my stay more pleasant. Thank you so much.
I recently delivered my first baby at EIRMC, and received PHENOMENAL care! The staff was so attentive and answered all of my questions in full detail. They also provided genuine reassurance to this new mother who, as you could imagine, was pretty nervous about bringing home a new baby for the first time. They were so great; both my husband and I actually miss them — something you don’t hear very often after a hospital stay!
We just had a baby. Loved our nurses in labor & delivery and in the women’s center. I loved that there was a nursery so I could get some much needed rest.
I was not impressed with my anesthesiologist and my epidural experience. Other than that our stay was great.
We took our adult special needs son to the ER, and he ended up being admitted for overnight observation. That turned into a stay of several days. Because he is non-verbal and severely developmentally delayed, I stayed with him.
Everyone was absolutely wonderful, from the doctors and nurses to the CNAs and housekeepers. They treated our son no differently than they would anyone else, they explained things to him even though he didn’t understand. They answered all of our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed.
This, despite every single room being filled, and being short staffed. Truly health care heroes. Thank you all so very much, from the bottom of my heart.
