1. If I could rate this place as 0 stars I would. The doctors dont remember your diagnoses or prognoses. I understand it’s hard to keep track of EVERYONE’S problems, but that’s what the chart is for. Not much effort put into patient relations or address patient concerns unless you basically demand it. Kind of run you around in circles to get you to have more visits it feels like. Was supposed to get a procedure scheduled a month and a half ago and had a follow up appointment and still havent gotten a date and time for it. Some of the receptionists at the end are rude and wont schedule procedures even after you tell them the doctor said to, saying that the doctor has to put it in. Hence why i’ve been waiting a month and a half. No communication between the nurse and the doctor so I have to repeat myself even though the nurse literally JUST TYPED IN WHAT I JUST SAID. Very aggravating and disappointing. Pass on this facility. Spend your hard earned money/insurance somewhere else that will actually put forth some effort on patient care instead of trying to throw you out the door basically.

2. Brooke A. Jackson PA submitted a completely false account of an appt I had with her. I am filing complaints with the IDPH as well as the BBB and any other organization I can. She ordered some blood tests and when I recieved the call from SIH staff I was told that all my tests were fine; while I had the lady on the phone I scheduled a follow up appt to address an adverse reaction to a medication she prescribed. I arrive at follow up and Brooke Jackson comes in the office and before anything she admitted that the call I received telling me my tests were all fine was actually an error and that I had a positive ANA test. This was a total shock to me and I had not been prepared for this news and didn’t really know how to react and immediately went into a near panic attack(I already have anxiety and the steroid she prescribed exacerbated this greatly) I then told her that I have been being treated(and still am being treated) by a psychiatrist for the last 3 years for anxiety but that it would take me at least a week to get into his office to be prescribed additional medicine to help with the worry and stress of the results she just unexpectedly told me and for the stress regarding the general state of my health as well as an upcoming flight I was supposed to take(the last flight I took my heart went into AFib and I spent the next 2 days in the hospital so I was panicking daily about this flight) So I go in there for an injury and she then tells me that I actually do have a test that was of concern and this put me into an immediate panic and I knew that I was going to have a very tough couple of days until I meet my psychiatrist I simply asked her for a medication to get me thru the next few days/week until I could get an appt with my psychiatrist. She refused to treat my situational panic attack and instead suggested that I try an SSRI, which won’t help me with the immediate panic I was experiencing as a result of the steroid medication she had me on. When I told her that I didn’t think a daily SSRI was the right treatment for situational, and rare, anxiety she said “so you think you’re smarter than doctors” and after that the conversation went very much downhill and she implied I was seeking drugs and in her report she claims I got “loud” which is an absolute lie; I defended myself against her accusation and my tone was stern but never did it elevate in decibel; and, of course, in her report from the appt she neglects to mention her insulting me. She also stated that I said I had no imaging i.e. Xray, MRI etc when the truth is that I came to the office both times(as I do any time I go to a doctor) with a folder containing current records, CMP. and also Xrays, MRI, and CT scan all on CDs with reports; she had no interest in reading them(just like she had no interest in examining my injury).
   She didn’t even examine the injury that I came in there for either time.
   Bottom line, Brooke Jackson is the worst HCP I’ve ever encountered and her ego prevents her from actually hearing what her patients are saying. In the last 3 years I have been misdiagnosed by 3 MDs, 2 osteopaths, and a chiropractor and in not one of those situations did I feel the need to leave a negative review or place a call to the management of the facility, but this lady is not only a poor medical health “professional” but she is a dishonest person who will file false documents and lie about facts so that she can deflect responsibility. I have never met a health care worker who cared so little for people, has such low sense of ethical duty, and such a fragile ego that a mere suggestion that I don’t agree with her offering me a daily, psychotropic, drug would lead her to insult me.
   Shame on Brooke Jackson. I will not let this issue be forgotten and I will file all the complaints I can until my medical records get corrected to reflect the truth of my appt, and until she’s held responsible

3. Don’t waste your time or your money going to this place unless you already know what’s wrong with you and know what you need to get medicine wise or don’t bother. I saw 3 different doctors 1 which was a specialist in Herrin. All 3 of them told me something totally different. As far as the medicine they prescribed me was supposed to be for a damaged nerve in my elbow to relieve pain(this is the 3rd different medicine they’ve tried and I’ve paid for) after my testing showed there was no nerve damage in my elbow they told me the medicine is now supposed to take care of the nerve in my wrist to relieve the pain in my elbow??2nd different story They’ve told me and 3rd attempt that doesn’t work .

4. Dr Ryder is the only reason I would come here. Use to be a really good place but no more. Nurses and drs do not care about their clients. Nurses and drs have very poor communication between each other to the point of it being non existent. They do not believe and customer about what they are feeling. And will run test after test just to rack up the bill. With no need for it. Their money hungry thru and thru. I ended up having a biopsy that I was told was more than likely cancer. And it ended up being cat scratch fever. When my wife was going thru a misscarage they didn’t not believe her and was very rube and forcefully to rush her thru. This place is pathetic in every stretch of the word. Save the frustration and go somewhere else.

5. Been a patient here for years now they refuse to see me unless I have a negative COVID test when there is no reason to assume I would have COVID. They did a phone call to do their “assessment” in which they could not see me or take any vitals.
