Went to visit the lab with my mother-in-law. Tried to check in at kiosk but after entering information it advised we could not check in using kiosk. Went to lab desk and waited 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged were standing at the desk. They advised we had to go back to the front desk. By this time this line was out the door.By melinda sue (a month ago)I go there for Cardiac Rehab. Everyone is very nice. Check-in was quick and easy. The rehab team is wonderful. It was a very positive experience.By D2MEMA Forever (5 months ago)Explained to the person from Dermatology, who answered the phone, I’ve been dealing what was initially thought to be impetigo, but it has not responded to topical or oral antibiotics or steroids for over 8 weeks and my doctor’s office told me to seek a skin scrap. Earliest appointment option over 3 months out. Let’s hope it’s not staph and/or MRSA because I guess I’ll be spreading it for the next 3+ months. I guess they’d rather you just go to the ER and clog it up.By Michelle Niebrugge (4 months ago)Carle Clinic’s or Carle Hospital in Urbana,Il. is all I’ve went to ,since i was a child to middle aged Adult . Dr.s , Nurses, all staff are very Friendly & Professional . Would recomend to anyone needing medical assistance a 10 in my Personal experiences. Thank u !By Raquel Warsaw (5 months ago)The doctors that I have met with at this facility are professional, kind, and flexible. I feel very comfortable receiving care from physicians at this centre. It may be an Illinois thing, but I did notice my co-pay was significantly higher than in previous states that I’ve lived in. As a student, this is tough to pay for despite a great health plan.By Michael Copley (9 months ago)

The doctor and nurse were really nice to me. The front desk lady was rude, I was extremely sick and couldn’t find my insurance card at the time. They just be like “YOU HAVE TO PAY RIGHT NOW OR LEAVE”. The front desk lady even tried to charge me for several pills, she was like “what did he(doctor) give you let me see”. She let me go after finding out it was only 4 small pills. I guess the main problem is the owner who is intended to hire rude front desk person. I understand they are afraid of ppl not paying their bills but man this is so rude and unprofessional. I cannot believe how I was treated by the lady there.By Christina Yang (3 weeks ago)Came in for a fractured hand and was placed into a splint and then a cast a few days later. After the three weeks in the cast, I went to a hand specialist to have it removed and to make sure the hand was healing. Hand specialist told me the treatment done at campustown urgent care was incorrect and I would need surgery to fix the errors. After a costly surgery I now have screws and pins in my hand when I could’ve just had pins temporarily placed to begin with.
Furthermore, after requesting my x-rays, I came to pick them up only to find that they had given the CD with them to somebody else (HIPPA?)
Doctor was also rather strange, asking me to take an educational video of him applying my cast (which ultimately was a bulky cast that looked nothing like other hand casts and ended up falling apart) while also negatively talking about other patients within earshot.
I would recommend going anywhere else.
By Justin Lundy (2 months ago)I had food poisoning and needed help with nausea/ruling out other illnesses. My nurse and doctor were amazing and helped me feel better! I am very thankful for them. The reason I gave this 3 stars is because of the two women working the front desk. They were extremely rude and did not make me feel comfortable at all despite my feeling ill. My doctor also gave me a doctors note and when I asked them how I might be able to connect with the school they dismissed me and were very unhelpful. They even wrote up the wrong note for me which my nurse had to fix.By Anna Mulcahy (a year ago)The first time I came here I was told I was covered but for my follow up visit I was told I was not covered and may end up having to pay full price for my first visit.By Nicholas McClintock (5 months ago)Very bad experience here. The first doctor that checked me in had good bedside manner and was professional, however the second one that came in was not. I came in with symptoms of the flu, they gave me a strep test and it came back negative. Then without any further testing the doctor told me they weren’t sure what it was but he wouldn’t test me for influenza because they haven’t seen a case in Champaign yet. Then he handed me a z-pack and the doctor gave me no normal run down of what I should be doing to get better. When I called back to report that the medicine was not helping and I needed something for the pain, I was told all they could give me were some lozenges. I’ve been to a lot of immediate cares and urgent cares, this has for sure been the worst experience I’ve had. So unprofessional.By Breanne Ferguson (a year ago)

My employer added Square 1 for an employee benefit. What a wonderful added benefit. James is always a text away, any time, any day! Even if I just have a question, I receive a prompt response by text or phone call. I even had an in office experience, which was just as easy. Next day appointment, same day treatment. This alone saves me multiple visits with multiple copayments but also less time asking off at work. Highly recommend more individuals or employers to give Square 1 a try.
Switching to Square1 for our primary & urgent care needs was the best decision we’ve ever made. Immediate 24/7 access to care gives our family peace of mind worth far more than the small fee we pay monthly.
I was blessed to discover Square1 a few years ago and recently started going again. I have no regrets. It is extremely affordable, convenient, low stress, and Dr. James Chandler is the most amazing doctor around! He has been genuine, comforting, compassionate and caring as he navigates the process of trying to discover my health issues. He truly listens and is concerned about the patients living their quality of life again, not just rushing them out of his office. I’m not somebody who goes to doctors and am on this journey to better health because of him. Go see James! You won’t regret it.
It is so incredible in this day and age to be able to reach out to a doctor you know and trust, and get the answers and help you need right away. I would recommend James and his staff to anyone! I have been so happy with their service for several years now.
Our experience with Square 1 has been great! Recently our son fell while ice skating and busted his head. James came into his office on a Sunday afternoon to stitch him up. Saved us a visit to the ER and he did a great job! Elliot loved him.
