I made an appointment and filled out my paperwork online with ease. I checked in once I got to the parking lot. The young lady at the front desk told me about a program to help with the cost since I don’t have insurance. She took care if signing me up while I waited to be called in. PA Zapata was professional, attentive, and didn’t rush. He gave me options and left it up to me to decide what was best. I highly recommend going there. From the first call to set up an appointment to the last step walking out the door I was happy with my experience. The receptionist and the nurse and the PA were all extremely pleasant. They were efficient kind caring concerned. They diagnose my illness and prescribe after that I was free to go. No waiting for hours like at Hendrix health. It took total maybe an hour. I cannot have asked for a better experience. How they managed to hire such a good group of people is a gift to Abilene. This office is the best walk-in clinic in Abilene. There has been long waiting times because of the pandemic, but the service is still great. Masks are enforced in the waiting area. It is best to make appointments online if you don’t want to come in and find out that there is a wait to sign in or maybe be told to come back another day. Our family’s first choice for urgent care and sports and school physicals. The staff is professional and yet friendly at the same time. They make us feel comfortable by conversing, laughing and joking with us while providing the exam.
I also like being able to schedule an appointment and do paperwork online before the appointment. They even send friendly reminders leading up to the appointment time.
Great experience every time I’ve been there. The receptionist, Ashley is amazing and goes above and beyond. I lost my daughter’s physical and she helped get me get an appointment within a couple minutes on short notice. I recently fell at work and some of my paperwork was missing, Ashley stayed on top of it. She called me with updates and when to pick up my forms so I didn’t have to call or drive up there. I appreciate her hard work and dedication. Ashley, you’re the best!!!!
I have used this clinic a few times in the past and am always pleased with the service, however today I had a longer than usual wait time–about 1 1/4 hours. Staff was friendly and professional.
Very polite and professional. Wait time was short, very quick diagnosis along with quick medications to help get over the illness. Check out was quick and with very kind well wishes as we left
Nice people and quick visit but make sure you have some kind of insurance though.. covid and flu test and 5 minute check with doc was $540. Ridiculous. My PCP was booked so I went here. I self pay $130 for a visit at my primary. It’s crazy they charge this much for such a basic service. I’ll never pay it again. I’ll just wait next time.
