My experience was 10/10!! Was in town and just found this lovely bakery based on reviews and my wants of finding a delicious pastry from a local establishment. They know what they’re doing with pastries and the pineapple upside down cake/slice was perfect. Staff was helpful and happy while I tried to choose my breads, pastries, cakes, because I just couldn’t contain myself. The inside is light and bright, the displays of deliciousness is just perfect.By A• (7 months ago)OK where do i even start… we purchased the little pecan pie, key lime pie and a couple of the small cookies. HOLY WOW!!!! These are hands 👏 down 👇 the BEST pastries i have ever had. While eating these seconds after purchasing (still in the store) my sister was making weird orgasm faces because it tasted just that good. No.. im not exaggerating she was making all the faces. The staff was so sweet they gave us complimentary cupcakes, one for each of us. I saved mine to enjoy when i arrived home after a two hour drive. It did melt a little bit but when i ate it, i absolutely died of happiness, came back to life, ate the rest and died again.
Sorry in advance for those that hate this word but this was the most MOIST cupcake i have ever shoved in my mouth. The fluffiest, most flavorful, and absolutely decadent cupcake i have ever tried. It was the chocolate peanut butter one. I highly recommend. 10/10 in my book. I will drive two hours back just for this bakery. The only thing that went wrong was that i didn’t order one of everything. My mistake. I’ve learned my lesson.Thank you for excellent food and service 🙏
By Chloe Simon (5 months ago)This bakery deserves a Michelin star. Best bakery in Madison by a significant margin. Their croissants are perfectly laminated, with a good balance of crispiness and butteriness. The scones are not dry, yet still crumble perfectly. They rotate their selections regularly while still keeping some staples like the pain au chocolat and coffee cake almost every day. Everything is baked to the next level. The staff are always friendly, and the vibe inside is always electric. 10/10.By Avenash Pernankil (a year ago)We drove over an hour to get here only to find out its closed. Could’ve been avoided by updating the hours on google.Update: We still visited this place next day, Amazing croissants and baked goods! Loved it, Updating rating to 5! Keep working your baking magic! Thanks! 😍
By Pranit Gaikwad (5 months ago)Good bakeries are hard to find, but thankfully Madison has a a few of them. The goodies are delicious and not overly sweet. The last few times I did curbside pick up, very easy to do. Employees are all friendly. It’s a beautiful spot.By M B (a year ago)

Wow wow wow! I’m visiting and this was recommended. I love good bread and pastries and this was right up there. I got the toast with sheeps milk and cheese, it was one of the most perfect breakfast items I’ve ever had. The bread is awesome, so tender and moist. The cheese and jam combo is next level.By Mac Zafarana (8 months ago)This place has an amazing bread selection but most of all, their pastries are delicious and are fresh. Due to Covid, customers can only sit at the back of store. I found the back to be a bit crowded and wish I the front seating was available since it was my first time visiting. Overall, really good spot if you’re looking for high quality bread.By Jess Ni (a year ago)Loved this place. We got a couple sourdough sandwiches – mine was the Emma: pickled veggie based, delicious. Very nice crunchy fresh bread. Came with a green salad that was citrusy and super tasty. Terrace is not huge but very cozy and comfortable – overall a cute space to eat. Staff were also very friendly. Would for sure return!By Xabier Granja (8 months ago)We were looking for a small and simple wedding cake and the cake we received was delicious! The process was very convenient and stress-free as well. We were able to get a sample box with several different types of cakes, frostings, and fillings, which made for a very fun process of trying different combinations. We went with a chocolate cake with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream. It was so good. Would definitely recommend!By Liana Streck (2 months ago)Omg so many delicious things to choose from! Friendly and patient service as I figured out what to order. My food was a-mazing. I normally don’t do croutons but I ate these delicious croutons. And the sourdough toast was soft and fluffy and very flavorful. I’d take a loaf back to Boston to show how bread should be done.By Bandita Joarder (3 months ago)

Excellent local bakery with small town service! Everyone was very nice, prompt and professional. I suggest visiting early in the day as when I went in the evening, most of the bakery and soup were sold out (understandable). I visited this morning and even though they were very busy, I was able to order bakery goods and check out within 10 minutes.
Stopped in to get something for breakfast! They use hard boiled eggs on their breakfast sandwiches and it was good! I also got a brownie with walnuts and it was good! Didn’t walk out with a kringle this time but definitely stared at the beautiful display!
We chose O&H for our wedding cake and they did an INCREDIBLE job! We wanted something wintery for our christmas wedding and boy, did they deliver! We were so impressed by the cake when we got to the venue, and not to mention, it was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend! Chriss, the wedding organizer, was also incredible to work with! 🙂
If I could give a place 10 stars…. It would be O&H Danish Bakery!!! We love this place. We are never disappointed. The Kringles are ALWAYS delicious! Actually, everything they sell is delicious. Donuts, cakes…. even soup. Every time I go home to Toledo, OH…. I am required to bring Kringles back with me. Everyone loves Kringles!! I highly recommend O&H Danish Bakery. I promise to have some better pics next time…. hopefully before everyone rips the bag open and starts devouring everything. 🤣
O&H Danish Bakery has the best traditional Kringle’s you’ll find in Wisconsin. This is the main location and offers at least 20+ flavors including seasonal favorites like Mardi Gras Kringle that has beads and a ring just like the cakes do! We have had several flavors over the years and they are all generously filled and very flavorful! They also have delicious donuts of every kind as well as fresh breads and cookies. They have a small indoor seating area to enjoy a cup of gourmet coffee with your sweets.
