  1. Small but wonderful bake shop. I especially liked the breads. Everything is fresh and delicious. Friendly atmosphere. The best thing is that they have some animals outside, especially goats. You can feed them too. It was a really fun place to go.

  2. Been coming to Lancaster for years and found this place on my latest visit. It’s back off the main hustle and bustle road, but has a petting zoo, nicely priced outdoor decorations and a variety of freshly baked goods like cookies and pies. Highly recommend turning off the main road to visit.

  3. Nestled in the heart of the Amish farmlands sits this wonderful bake shop with fresh made Amish goodies.

Whether you go for shoo fly pie or Schnitz pie you won’t be disappointed.

Strictly takeout you can buy pretty much anything here including jams and Amish jams and souvenirs.

Check out the pretzel trailer sitting outside for a real buttery Amish pretzel. A children’s playground sits behind it.

Baked goods are delicious and worth getting the seasonal offerings if they have any left available.

Enjoy the drive and soak in the Amish county side went you visit.

  4. We happened to be there on the 50th business anniversary celebration and it was a treat. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. There were loads of samples and pony rides. The Apple Streusel was one of the best Ive ever had. The chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon buns, pretzel breakfast sandwich, muffins were also amazing. Great place and must visit.

  5. The Amish pretzels are to die for. The glider swings in the picnic area are so nice to enjoy on a warm day. Everybody very friendly and good prices but be aware of made in China items being sold that look like they may be amish made, they are not. Nice place to stop if your in the area. Woopie pies! Wow!

One of the most awesome bakeries I’ve ever been too.
Everything is top notch and so fresh. Just like my Grandmother made. You will not be in any way disappointed. Sometimes there is a line but it’s well worth the wait.

    Dear Pie Shoppe

I just want to let you know how much I enjoyed my first visit to the shop. My wife and I enjoy visiting bakeries and trying different pies. And your pie shop was very high on the list of places to visit. I absolutely love the way you are ensconced in a little mountain valley. It was a beautiful drive during fall color week. We were amazed at how busy the shop was when we got there because we got there very late in the day. But we were very pleased at how quickly the line moved and how well-stocked you were with pies. We got a small lemon and pumpkin pie as well as a full sized cherry crumble pie. We absolutely love the cherry crumble pie and how dense the filling is. The pumpkin pie and lemon pie are excellent as well. I even got a small loaf of bread for my mother and she said it was excellent. We can’t wait to come back and try more pies. I’m eager to try the raisin pie because I have never had one. Thanks for all you do and for creating little bites of happiness. Cheers. Bryan.

What a gem of a local bakery! Fresh breads, bagels and pies, plus so much more!! Cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, muffins!! The have several pizzas that you can buy, by the slice, and salads ready for your lunch break. The staff was very young, but super friendly and very helpful. I can’t wait to go back!!

The Pie Shoppe makes the absolute best desserts. My all time favorite is the maple bacon donuts. They are incredible!

They should really change the name to “The Donut Shop”
I tried the peach and chocolate pie. With a name like the pie shop, I was really expecting a delicious, heavily packed pie that would make me say “WOW”. Unfortunately, the pies were expensive, had very little filling and tasted average at best.
However, the donuts were fresh and delicious.
Everything is overpriced. $2.89 for a cream filled donut. 😳

Long Johns are the best! We like the ones with chocolate icing. We also like their cheese danish and cinnamon twists. Quality of baked goods has noticeable improved in the last year! Not sure what changed, but we noticed. Great job.
