  1. Such yummy treats! I’m not a cake lover, but I absolutely LOVE their Chocolate Mousse Torte! Perfect for every occasion! They have a small and a large. Reasonably priced.

  2. Harvey’s will never let you down! From an amazing breakfast to incredible bakery items, everything I’ve gotten from here has been fantastic. The service in both the restaurant and the bakery is always outstanding.
Everything we’ve gotten from the bakery has been delicious, but most notable is the “pink lemonade” cake I got here after absolutely butchering a homemade cake for a birthday. I came in panicked and in need of a birthday cake for the day of, and I had so many choices for ready-to-go cakes! They even put writing on it for me and totally saved the day. Everyone loved it!

  3. Pros: Good bakery, good service, good pastries, haven’t tried the breads yet. It is refreshing to taste pastries without an overload of sugar. Very good pies. Almost 4 stars.

Cons: Lacks the amazing-ness of Jewish, Italian, French, and other bakeries I have been to.

Notes: Croissants are very light and fluffy (more than usual but I enjoy it) but lacks the crispness and layering. So far, the best croissants I have found in Dover.

  4. My favorite place. Best homemade food and baked goods. Their pork pie is the best I have ever had. Cream puffs have real whipped cream, not frosting like most bakeries. I’ve never had a bad meal there. And I always have to stop at the bakery counter on my way out. Even my very picky older sister loves the food there. You can’t go wrong.

  5. Hi, first time going today and was happy to see pastries I use to get at Italian bakery in Massachusetts where Im originally from. I got a mocha cake, eclair, rasberry filled puffed turnover. Got home and sliced into each, what a real disappointment, the filling in turnover was not whipped cream (the way real italians make it) it was frosting and some jelly, the so called mocha cake was just white cake with jelly smeared on sides with coconut and maple frosting ontop. I have worked in a real italian bakery in South Boston with true pastries. These I got today were not worth the price they charge for knockoffs.

This is such a beautiful and charming bakery. Everyone here is very very sweet, and it made us wish we lived closer so we could come here all the time. They have a big variety of delicious looking breads and pastries. My egg and croissant sandwich was really fantastic: extremely buttery and decadent. This bakery is worth coming to just for the friendly service!

While the bakery it self is very cute! The food was mediocre, along with the service! Nevertheless it was still enjoyable maybe if you went on a better day ha ha! We tried the white bean chili as that was what was so popular even so I was unimpressed.

This place was the BEST little cafe! We were so lucky to stumble across it. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was so fun and the prices were great. It felt like I was in Europe.
The workers were friendly and nice.
We got the egg sandwiches, which were perfect for breakfast and delicious.
We got a blackberry cardamon muffin and a raspberry rhubarb tart to go. We took them out to the water to enjoy 😁
I would HIGHLY recommend Ceres Bakery and we will definitely go back next time we are in the area!

Fantastic service and AMAZING food. This is the very definition of neighborhood bakery and you won’t be disappointed! Try their doughnuts or cinnamon rolls…amazing!!! But seriously, everything here is incredible.

    Oh. My. Goodness.
Their sandwich and coffee are mediocre (not a bad thing; just neutral) but their baked goods are a must try. Not too sweet and perfect with a cup of coffee or tea, or even by themselves.

I got a cheesecake brownie, German chocolate bar, and a blueberry (something I can’t remember) cupcake.

Heaven! Delicious. God bless the wonderful people that made these desserts! The buttercream frosting on the cupcake wasn’t too sweet, like many are. It was just *chefs kiss*.

Thank you! Sorry, I don’t have pictures because we ate them before I even had the chance lol.

Picked up some muffins and a bday cake for my girls. The muffins were delicious and fresh without being too sweet. The bday cake was not only insanely cute and beautiful, but tasted delicious as well! So much attention to detail with amazing colors and designs. I highly recommend!

We arrived 20 minutes before closing but did not feel rushed in any way. Bought 7 different pastries and they were ALL delicious. Wish we didn’t live in Massachusetts or we would be regular customers. We definitely encouraged our kids who live in NH to go back because they loved it too!

The Deserts here are fantastic. I’ve been unknowingly buying their lemon raspberry, pumpkin, and corn beads from the Kitchen on river road, before I realized it was made by the bearded baking Co. I love mostly all things lemon, and they never disappoint. For such a small location, they really can pump out big flavors. A buddy of mine gets treats from here for his wife often, and she’s also obsessed.
