A++++.By Georgia Mckinney (2 months ago)It has been 14 years since we were here last. They have built a new store and it is 3 times larger than the original store. They have something for everyone. Baked goods, convenience store, candy, mixes and more! They also have outdoor furniture.By Lee Treft (2 years ago)Such an interesting place. We make a special trip at least twice a year to stock up spices, bread, cheese, and sliced meats. It a must go see!!!By Rick Kalebaugh (3 weeks ago)I’ve been to this bakery once a couple of years ago, and I was blown away by the wide selection of items that were offered. I decided to stop through today to pick up treats for my students, and I found some great deals. The chocolate covered treats were 3 for a $1, and a really great bargain. The store is always clean, and things are easy to find!By Carly R. Cooper (3 years ago)

We looked forward to a visit to The Daily Bread. The menu looked interesting and the location was good. I saw a winter item on the menu board…a seeet chili turkey club. It included cibatta bread, turkey, bacon, avocado and other items. The place was packed, so seemed popular. The sandwich was on toasted cibatta, but it was toasted too much…it was hard and dry. In fact, the bread was so sry and hard that it roughed up my mouth. Also no matter how hard I looked I could not detect any avocado. The turkey was dry, but the bacon was good. My wife also had a special sandwich. The bread was super dry and the sandwich not too enjoyable. Sad it wasn’t a great meal, it had potential. The restaurant is clean, but pretty basic and sterile. Maybe it was just what we ordered…or the high volume of orders and giving it another try may be worth it, not sure we will go back.By Larry Jost (3 months ago)wow! great place!
the food was delicious, didn’t take pictures of the avocado toast and the egg and cheese bagels, but they were perfect!By Tassneem Rajeh (6 months ago)Unprepared for a large group of visitors, we walked into The Daily Bread and ordered 8 sandwiches and a couple salads. They were super nice and very helpful. Our order was placed during the lunch hour and they still had everything ready in under 10 minutes. The other customer’s food was made in a timely manner. The ice tea is always great.By Emily Sewell (4 months ago)Always so fast. Great pastries and sandwiches.By Abigail Watts (2 months ago)Love this place! My go to is a bacon egg and avocado on a croissant and it never disappoints. The avocado is always fresh and green and not old looking like some places. I will say their smoothies need a little work, there wasn’t much flavor but they have a decent size menu and lots of treats for the kids to pick from.By Joshua Yeargain (2 months ago)

Our family wanted to visit this bakery after seeing their wonderful reviews! We were not disappointed! The staff were so helpful and friendly! The selection was unbelievable! We bought a variety of the pastries! The Marshmallow rolls and cannolis were amazing! Our favorite was the cream puffs!
We went for the gooey butter cake, we left with much more – chocolate drops (order as many as you can afford, these were amazing), sfogliatelle (just wow), and more that I don’t remember the names of. Bottom line, you cannot go wrong. The person who helped us was super patient, helpful and friendly. My husband said he’d like to move to The Hill neighborhood just to be able to visit the bakery regularly.
Just the cutest little family bakery ever. Everyone was super helpful and fast. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town! The gooey butter cake was my favorite. Great part of town, too. Lots of Italian restaurants.
very cute family bakery. my favorite thing is how cheap and affordable everything was. i got 5 bakery items and it was only $5! i really liked the gooey butter biscuit cookie things. i mainly went to try the gooey butter cake, but they didn’t have any when i went. just a reason to go back!
My daughter and I visited on our way through St. Louis after reading the great reviews. The staff and the other customers in the bakery were so welcoming and helpful! There are no prices on items but they have a price list so you can ask before you order. Our favorites were the ricotta cannoli, the gooey butter cake, and the custard puffs. So yummy!
