  1. Used to be a fantastic location, but within the last year has gone massively down hill. Poor management. The pharmacy can not get their stuff together. Missing scripts, won’t answer phones, etc. Don’t bother calling, you have to go up there in person to ask anything about your medicine. Want to update your info to save yourself and the staff time at pickup? Forget it. No one answers the phone. And when you do get up there, no one has any idea of what is going on. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful store go so massively downhill. Would be better off turned into a Wal-Greens at this point.

  2. Don’t waste your time. Go to Genscripts instead.
It took multiple phone calls, a visit to the store, and finally 3.5 hours later they had my son’s prescription ready after I hounded them mercilessly. They are very rude as well. At the drive-thru I was speaking to Cynthia and explaining the prescription was for my son but was under my account, and she walked away in the middle of the conversation. They blamed corporate for cutting their hours instead of being apologetic. CVS used to be one of the best, I’m extremely disappointed, and it is obvious I’m not the only one. Do NOT waste your time at this location. Go to Genscripts instead. We started going there and they are wonderful!!

  3. Purchased four gift cards with the self-checkout. One of the cards did not activate. The manager on duty did not give me a refund since the system usually automatically refunds if there is an error with the card activation. Since I used the self checkout it did not refund for the error. She wrote a note on my receipt to bring the card back if the refund did not reflect on bank statement. I brought the card back 4 days later and was treated like a criminal attempting to commit some kind gift card fraud despite still having the card in tact with the receipt showing the error and showing my bank statement that I was charged for four cards instead of three. I had to wait 15 minutes for them to check their systems and the manager even stoped to assist another customer in the middle of assisting me. I was also asked for I.D. as if that were going to deter me. I decided not to repurchase another gift card from this location.. I dont feel discriminated against often but in this case I don’t feel like I would have experienced this if I were not a person of color.

  4. These people are rude and hateful, We’ve been sitting in the drive thru for 15 mins. They don’t even acknowledge you. Hateful when we finally got service, like I inconvenienced them. If you don’t like the job, then quit!!!!

  5. Yesterday I went to pick up an old navy package from the front counter that had been delivered to their UPS access point. UPS sent me the confirmation that it was ready on Jan 19th and I arrived at the store on the 20th. The red headed clerk ( this lady was visibly and vocally disabled) took my information and claimed she looked through the database and could not locate my package as being delivered to the store. I watched her look through what looked like a large gray bin where they keep recent deliveries. She did not find it. Then she wrote down the stores main number and asked me to call that number and speak to the front desk. I thought that was odd because I was already there at the front desk. Then I think to myself, well, maybe this is a direct number to file a complaint. I was puzzled. I called the number and it rang about 10 times before anyone picked up. When someone finally answered, another lady picked up and asked for my info. She stated that they have my package. As she was speaking, I heard an echo so I turned to look in towards the front desk (where I heard the echo come from)and saw a different clerk (thin and blonde) speaking to me as I was answering her. How strange! 🤔 I walked back up to the counter and I speak to a different clerk (a third clerk) and said I just got off the phone and a person from this store confirmed my package has been delivered. The lady who helped me at first (the disabled woman) chimed in to say again that they did not have the package. I explained to her that I saw the thin blonde clerk comfirm you have it. The disabled clerk told me she must have been talking to someone else. I said no, I saw her talking to me on the phone as I was talking with her. Afterwards, I scan my eyes further behind the front counter and saw what appeared to be a gray old navy, gap, and banana Republic delivery bag with blue writing sitting on top of other delivery boxes. It matched the size of the amount of items I purchased from old navy. I tell the disabled clerk, that’s my bag over there in the corner (it was immediately behind the big gray bin of recent deliveries). She walks over and pulls it out and confirms it had my name on it. I get my package and quickly leave. The whole purpose of me using this service is to protect my deliveries from being stolen off of my front porch. With a store clerk like the red headed disabled one at this CVS, who needs theives. I’m a teacher and I am well trained to catch everything. Had I not been vigilant I would probably have had my package stolen from this store. This was the most unnecessary and most bizarre encounter I have ever experienced in retail. I will try my best to never step foot in this particular CVS again. The dishonesty is unreal.

I’ve been using CVS at 7041 S Yale Avenue for many years now after switching from Walgreens. I have to say that I’ve been very happy with the service I’ve received. “Danny,” Pharmacy Department, has been very helpful and on numerous occasions has gone “above & beyond” to help me whenever a situation arises that needs urgent attention. Depending on Prescriptions to survive can be very stressful, especially when it comes time for renewal and the Pharmacy is out of your particular Medication. Knowing there are people that still care is a huge reason I still use this particular location. Thank you, CVS

Every vitamin in the vitamin aisle had a sign “Buy one get one free until 01/07 with CVS card”. When I got to the counter I wasted time signing up for a CVS card so I could get this BOGO offer. The associate at the counter told me after I wasted time signing up for the card that they put the wrong labels on the vitamins and it wasn’t a BOGO at all. So they wasted my time, stole my personal info for their cvs card signup, and I didn’t even get the BOGO deal. They tried to charge me $56 for a bottle of vitamin C and a bottle of vitamin D. What a joke of an experience

This pharmacy is beyond a disaster. And they can’t even be bothered to apologize for their mistakes, instead they act like you messed something up and should be grateful to ever get any medication at all.

Shockingly slow pharmacy! Even being prepared for it to take ridiculously long long to fill a prescription or pick one up you will still be blown away by how long you have to wait. We used to use them because of the proximity to home and work, but finally gave up because of the appalling customer service.

Much to my chagrin, I accidentally had one of my sons medications sent here today and this has been my view for over 20mins now. After 10mins I gave up and went inside, but the pharmacy is closed inside the store and drive thru only today for some reason. Luckily it’s not an emergency and there are places near by where I can get food and drinks for my ordeal.

Go anywhere else for prescriptions, or better yet go back to school and get your pharmacology degree and fill your own scrips. It wouldn’t take much longer and I hear the benefits are great.

Prayers please for my family, I worry about my children as I fear they will be grown by the time I get home with their meds. Hopefully my wife will move on, I just want her to happy and to love again while I whither in this line.

Tried to go at night and the employees had locked the door almost 10 minutes before closing. Terrible to not be open when they just because they don’t feel like working.

Scheduled flu shot online. Got confirmation. Showed up and there’s no appointment. Apparently, the system canceled my appointment on its own. That’s fine, they said they can get me in. Go through all the info, hand them the insurance card. The tech is saying that it hasn’t been active since 2020. Wrong… I got it in 2021 and have been using it ever since without any problems. And then another person comes in and says that it doesn’t even matter because they don’t take BCBS, like it’s supposed to be public knowledge. Why did the system let me book an appointment in the first place? Ive been coming there for Covid screens for the last 2 years, I had to input the same BCBS info every single time. I’m unhappy that I had to waste my time going there.

One star is being generous. I went to the drive thru for my scheduled Covid test. Was told to go inside. Once inside was told to go back to the drive thru. I was there 45 minutes for something that should have been minutes. The female at the drive thru window was so incredibly rude that I can’t imagine why she works in a job dealing with people. She didn’t even give instructions for the test. No apology for getting the run around for 45 minutes. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have been to.

This was my first time at this CVS location a few weeks ago. I was dealing with a terrible ear infection and a staff member in the pharmacy got an attitude when I apologized and politely told her that I was having a hard time hearing. I tried to brush it off and remained courteous, but it has still really bothered me enough to finally write this review. The staff member was a little kinder after realizing what was going on. I get that it was incredibly busy at the time and the staff was probably stressed out, but there was really no need for the attitude towards me to begin with. I won’t be returning to this location.

Was able to schedule a vaccine appointment online and get text updates when it was time to check in, yet the store’s front door was locked with a sign saying “unfortunate power outage”. The stores lights were on and employees were working, but the door remained locked. Useless

Tried to go pick up my nebulizer for my liquid inhaler breathing treatment and apparently I needed a prescription to purchase a nebulizer. Even tho I picked up the liquid script for the nebulizer at this same location. Thanks for nothing
