Called to see if my RX was ready. Was told they never received it from my doctor. Called my doctor and was told the RX was sent the day before. Called CVS again and was told they found the RX but my insurance doesn’t cover it. Called my doctor to contact my insurance to give me pre-authorization to receive coverage for a VERY common drug. Nurse called CVS and was told my insurance covers the drug without requiring a pre-authorization! All this happened in the course of 1 hour this morning! That’s an hour I will never get back! Totally incompetent! CVS on Ina & Thornydale is awful! They also charged me over $40 for my flu shot co-pay and I have Blue Cross. Something is not right! On another visit I asked the counter staff where the the cotton balls were and I got a look like I was from outer space! I have never done a review on a website but feel the need to vent! Need to switch back to Walgreens but all of my RXs are with them.By Alexis Lim (4 months ago)I take a controlled substance since I have insurance they will not allow me to even pay full price for it because they failed to let me know last month that my doctor needed to send a free authorization form. So I am supposed to do without my medication that I’m supposed to take every day until my doctor can get the preauthorization sent back to them when they should have let me know this last month. The person I spoke with was very argumentative got me really upset.By Ryan Bleu (3 months ago)I have never in my life seen a more poorly run drug store. I can’t imagine how it remains open. The staff in the Minute Clinic is rude and inconsiderate, not to mention racist. An employee who labeled herself an RN treated me as inferior because I am Hispanic/Native American. She accused me of lying when I told her the online scheduling was not working. I had a confirmation code but was told I had no appointment. Two minutes later another customer walked in with the exact same issue. She never apologized.
This woman wad unkempt, with soiled scrubs that looked as though she’d slept in for days. Her nails were caked with dirt.
I will never send a client from my clinic to this facility for any reason. I ended up leaving and quickly booked an appointment at Sonora Quest, where the staff was gracious, courteous, professional acting and clean and professional looking.
Guess what? Same price.By Carol L (11 months ago)It’s a great store as long as you don’t go to the pharmacy. That’s why the 1 star. One of the ladies that was working in the pharmacy was totally unprofessional. My mom had a question about her all well card and she very loudly in front of other customers yells oh God I hate those cards. Then comes up to us and was rude with zero customer service skills and says oh this isn’t the correct cards and I hate dealing with them. She embarrassed my mom and made her feel bad for even asking a question. My mother is elderly and you don’t speak to people like that. She should be talked to and action needs to be done. We will never go to this location ever again, not until that girl is removed or gets some kind of talking too. Bottom line is you don’t treat people badly when they go to this store to ask a simple question. We walked out with zero purchases and very upset. If you go here don’t go to the pharmacy.By Cerisse Everett (7 months ago)The two ladies at the Minute Clinic on Saturday, Pearl and Nydia, were awesome. Great customer service and very caring.

I came into the store today and I was asked to leave my bag at the door instead of brining it in. I do not feel comfortable leaving my belongings with all the other customer bags at the entrance to the store while the security guard isn’t even watching the bags. Anyone could just pick it up and take it and I could do nothing about it. I do not feel welcome in the store and you guys should be ashamed for not taking the proper precautions to protect your guests. I will not be returning to any CVS until this policy is changed or properly enacted. Get lockers or don’t have the policy at all.By Kia Holstine (a week ago)This is by far one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had. I can’t believe this is how clerks treat customers. I went in to buy cough syrup and cough drops for my child. When I scanned the Dayquil/Nyquil, I realized it had been scanned at the original price and not the sale price. I was about to set it aside and press the “call for help” button so that I could exchange it with the CVS brand syrup and the lady clerk literally jumped on me. Without even greeting me, she directed me to put it in the bag, and screamed “In the bag!!! In the bag!!!”. Her tone and attitude were shocking. I was treated like a thief (a thief that scans items and checks them out, no comments) and was not given the opportunity to express my need. Had she only greeted me and asked me how she could help me, our whole interaction would have changed drastically. This is customer service 101. The store was empty, it’s not as if she was overwhelmed by a crowd of customers. This is the second and last time that I shop in this store, and I will be spreading the word. Customers should never be treated this way. While she did eventually apply the discount, it did not make up for her rudeness and lack of customer service skills.By Aurelia (a month ago)Listing say they close at 8pm. I rushed down there to get my prescriptions to find they changed their hours and close at 6 now. Staff that night and from my call today made every excuse in the world why they have the authority at each individual location to change their hours but no authority or ability to change it on their website or google listing. To top it off they told me today they could only hold my prescriptions for 4 more days even if i request they hold it longer. Guess i have to leave work early.By Peter (a month ago)It is a decent drug store and has improved recently with fewer items being out of stock, as was very common during the height of the Covid pandemic. I prefer it over the alternative chain pharmacy/drug store. It stopped selling tobacco products a few years agothe other one didn’t.By Roger Carrillo (a week ago)The store at Wilmot and Broadway has a rude woman working in the Pharmacy. We attempted to ask her a question apparently just before her break and she closed the window and wouldn’t answer our simple question about where to find the Covid test kits. With an attitude like that she shouldn’t be dealing with the public. I know break time is valuable, but taking 30 seconds to answer a question isn’t going to make or break your day.By Robert Machold (3 months ago)

Never send a prescription here, they mess everything up and give you different information than your insurance cause they don’t know how to do their job leaving you unable to get anywhere. Send your prescriptions somewhere that can actually help.
I’ve been doing business at this pharmacy now for 14 years. You might ask if I’m so disappointed with their service, why am I still there after 14 years. That’s an excellent question I need to ponder. Many of the pharmacy Representatives seem to have a problem executing very simple tasks. Like how many refills do I have left for this prescription.
Everything they touch, turns to mush. Customer service is terrible. A few of the pharmacy Representatives over the years have been excellent. But by their overall rating of 2.7 out of five, I think that says quite a bit.
I had visited an urgent care at 6pm and at 6:30 they sent my prescription to CVS. I figured Id wait until morning to pick it up. I went to cvs at 10:20am to pick it up. It wasn’t ready they gave me a time of 2hrs for it to be ready. I came back 2 and a half hours later to be told it wasn’t ready again to wait 15mins, it was 1:04 well before lunchtime at 1:30. I asked if it would be ready before then he said yes. I come back to be told its not done. At 1:28 he tells me it will be done after lunch at 2pm. I waited until 2:45pm to go again and pick it up. Once I got there they said only one of my prescriptions was ready the other was sold out and I have to come back tomorrow for it. Not only have I been in pain waiting for these antibiotics, I had to go 3 times to cvs for it to be half ready. I’ve never been so frustrated and let down ever. And I couldnt do anything about it and no one offered anything but a half genuine sorry. Needless to say I will never use a cvs phrase again and will tell ever one my experience. I feel for thise who constantly have to deal with this nonsense.
Comparing service at this CVS to my local CVS at home in Illinois has always been consistent—service doesn’t compare. Folks on Valencia Rd.are not friendly, don’t go out of their way to help customers, and make folks wait unnecessarily long periods of time. A few years ago, a clerk said they were unable to fill my prescription before we left for a 1600 mile trip. Rather than offer to help me, the clerk told me to appeal to my insurance company. That is not helping a customer that they turned away. Surely, I can find better service elsewhere.
I have only been a customer at this pharmacy for a few weeks and what I found astounding is that when you call this pharmacy I have been left on hold for well over 15 minutes or more. Is this the way you treat your customers all the time? I will be leaving this pharmacy and NEVER using another CVS for anything. Your customer service is poor at best and your associates are not friendly at all. This location should be closed.
