I just left the pharmacy at this store. I have never witnessed such an unprofessional pharmacist (joe) and counter help (girl with glasses) ever in my life. I recently changed insurance companies and had a simple question regarding if CVS accepted it. The girl looked up my information, verified the information and said that CVS accepted the insurance but couldn’t tell me the estimated cost of the medication without having a prescription. I questioned this since in the past, pharmacists have in fact looked up the cost of medication. The girl would not even give me the courtesy to finish speaking without cutting me off, then the Joe(The Pharmacist) approached and rudely said is “We don’t take that insurance” and once again proceeded to cut me off and not allow me to even finish speaking. I only have 1 thing to say “WOW CVS”. As a person who is getting older and learning about the different nuances of insurance, I have to say I have never been treated so poorly by employees of CVS. Even though this store is within 500 steps of my residence, I will look to do business with other stores in the area where the employees are more humble and treat customers with respect regardless of the situation. Special 2 old “ladies” and other short “lady” they work for the staff of cvs. They are always angry and very disrespectful. Give them a big training because we don’t have to deal with this people, we are clients and we deserve respect.
Also the cvs pharmacy charged me 3 times,
($ 30.00) for prescriptions that I don’t have to pay for because my insurance covers them 100%.
It is an abuse and a lack of ethics to make this type of collection, they must do an audit for mismanagement in this pharmacy.
They have no values and dishonestly charge customers. We must take actions to stop using these monopolies. They only abuse of the clients.Terrible people, terrible service. I gonna charge my prescription to other pharmacy this store look like a a cheap market place.

Scheduled a vaccine appointment over a week ahead of time. Showed up, checked in, then waited 15 minutes, only to be told they don’t actually have the vaccine that we scheduled and came here for. I provided my information twice for a Covid test, and she still thought I was there to pick up a prescription. I told her a third time and she finally figured it out, and eventually provided me with the test kit. The swab would not break off in the collection vial after inserted. She told me to just dispose of it. I’m not sure if the results will be representative. You definitely need to train your employees as she was out there, seemed incompetent, or provide adequate training if they can pass a drug test. Once again I was not disappointed at CVS because everything was exactly the way I like; clean and organized!
This is a very ample CVS and it was my first time here a few days ago.
Prices were great with some offers as usual and the service was nice and fast.
I suggest you to open on rewards account because you get points and it’s free don’t worry.
Decent store with Walmart style service. Wish everyone could be friendlier, employees avoid you like your the plague. I’ve had this happen on two occasions were I need to buy batteries but associates avoid eye contact until you go get them.
I don’t know who helped me, but he is a kind guy. I needed to pick up something and he clearly knew that I didn’t know about anything, so he helped and he also helped with buying some other products I needed and to pay for them!
In a state of panic to get a COVID test completed in time for our cruise the next day, we drove from Bradenton to this CVS location in St. Petersburg to get a rapid results test as we awaited the PCR test results. We made an appointment; however, traffic delayed us a bit. When we tried to contact this location by telephone, no one would answer. After waiting on hold for 10+ minutes, we finally gave up. Upon arrival at this CVS, the pharmacy technician refused to give us any COVID test, stating they were closed.
Such poor customer service; CVS can do better.
I was looking for an item and the Mgr took me right to it. I love shopping at this CVS because the workers are so nice and friendly.
