I have relentlessly trying to get my prescription for a week. The pharmacy just keeps telling me that the insurance company needs to approve my prescription further. Low and behold I get a text yesterday from this pharmacy and they said that my doctor needs to prescribe me an alternative. I called the pharmacy and the person on the phone was incredibly rude and short with me and basically acted like my situation was beyond solving. He sat and waited, progressively getting worse, waiting for the medication he needed to feel better. None of the staff cared or helped, and had the audacity to lie about why they took so long.
In my 24 years I have never had such a bad experience at a pharmacy. My family member and I were told it would take 15 minutes to fill the prescriptions and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes. We waited that first hour assuming we felt it was taking longer since we were anxious to get my family member the medication they needed. Finally at the 1 hour mark (we then realized much, much, more time had passed than we realized) they called us up to confirm the prescription so they could start filling it. We were confused because what had they been doing the last hour? Why were we told to wait only 15 minutes for them to fill it? When asked how much longer it would take they said “it takes time for the prescription to go through” which was a straight out lie. We had been specifically told 1 hour ago that the prescription had gone through and we needed to wait 15 minutes for it to be filled. This was only two medications!! It then took them 45 minutes to fill the actual prescription of only two medications, one of which is prepackaged so they only had to grab it off the shelf. We felt helpless at that point, as we had already asked “how much longer it would be” and we were met with lies. What more can you do at that point without getting rude? We sat and waited for the prescriptions feeling powerless.
The incompetence and lack of empathy for the sick people waiting hours for their medications was astounding. I hope something is changed because that was a horrific pharmacy experience that directly caused my family member physical harm. DO NOT GO HERE.
By Marina O’Brien (a year ago)I’ve noticed that they keep food that’s past its best by date on the shelf and sell it to customers, which is absolutely disgusting.As well as spoiled food, they have terrible customer service. The woman at the customer service desk (Michelle) is terribly rude and even talked back to her manager. I came in to return something i bought the day prior because it the seal was already broken on it and it leaked everywhere in my bag. The receipt was blurred because the product leaked all over, but you could still see how much the products cost. She refused to put it back on the original payment (credit card) even though i had my receipt, but instead put it on 2 seperate gift cards. She didn’t even want to give me the price listed on the shelf for that item and i needed the manager to talk to her so I could get my full refund. What a btch

Called at 120 to get my insurance updated so I could pick up prescriptions today after work. It took me forever to get through automated system and get a pharmacist on the phone. Then it took Riley the pharmacist several minutes to pull up my account. When it turned 130 pm Riley said they were closed now so I would have to call back at 2pm after lunch and she refused to help me. Worst customer service I have had and this is coming from people who are supposed to be helping with a serious situation like medical conditions. How can you accept a call and then not provide service half way through the call? Pharmacy is inefficient, mistake-ridden, terrible. The number of mix-ups, delays, completely ignored conversations (thanks for the assurance on the phone you’d mail my spouse’s RX and it would be here by Thursday and then to have NOT EVEN FILLED IT it by Monday), is astounding. My spouse is basically going cold turkey off a med you shouldn’t do that with because of this pharmacy, and it’s not even the first time. Prices too high. Had to wait for only one cashier to help lade in back of store. Closest to my home. Trying to get pharmacist on line I had to hang up because of so much I didn’t need to hear.

Just a normal pharmacy
I go there every night around 10pm before work to buy Monster.. Which is supposed to be on sale 3 for $5 but I always get charged full price and the cashiers are reluctant or refuse to fix the problem. The one tonight clearly didnt want to be at work.. Not my problem. Will be going to talk to manager!

HyVee gas is just a typical convenience store with the typical items to purchase they usually all have the same prices and sales
I made appointment for COVID 19. I went to pharmacy and called the pharmacy as explained on website. The person on the phone was so rude. He kept telling me he couldn’t see me and asked if I was at the right one. He kept telling me that he couldn’t see me. I explained I was out front. I finally hung up and left.
