I am very disappointed on how I was treated at the pharmacy on Atlanta and Taylor Rd location. I am a diabetic on 2/21/23 went for a follow up with my Doctor who up my medication and sent it in. After about 3 days had not heard from them so I chatted on their app, where I was informed that it was out of stock. I understand that meds sometimes have to be order, fast forward to today 3/9/23 got off work early and went to the pharmacy to follow up with them since no one has been in touch with me, when I got to the counter the pharmacist was filling an order ask what did I need told her I was checking on my prescription because I had not heard from anyone. She ask for my date of birth and my name, then informed me rudely that it was not filled because the doctor’s office didn’t send a letter of my diagnosis. At that point I ask why didn’t anyone call and inform me off that, rude as can be said it out of stock anyways, not sure why people can be so nasty to other. I told her I reach out to my doctors office in the morning. Like I said what frustrates me the most is that she acted like I was bothering her. Maybe this is not the job for her. Will ask my doctors office to change pharmacy for me. If I could give a 0 on this review I truly would have. Remember that we are humans and should be treated like one. Train your staff to have more empathy with the guest.By Wanda Rivas (in the last week)Recently being diagnosed with COVID and your drive thru register is down.. no communication about the back order or medication. I will never use this CVS or any other location. The staff in the pharmacy were not friendly and when I called to inquire about a medication that’s already two days behind to try again probably after 3pm. Health care professionalism and having a caring spirit is long gone. Please leave your position if you can’t do the job.By Lisa Garner (2 months ago)The crew at this location lost my prescription on 10/6 I discovered this when I went to pick the prescription up. I was told to call back on 10/12 still no prescription but the young lady that took it remembers passing it off to someone else to put it in the system. On 10/12 I was told they would look into it and call me back two days later I call back and I’m told to call again on Monday or call my doctor to get another prescription and he hung up on me. I’m glad it’s not a prescription that is detrimental for my health.By Linda Smoke (5 months ago)In todays society prices of everything has risen substantially; saving money in any way is most important to me. The savings I received by using CVS extra bucks as well as joining extra care membership for needed house hold products was a big plus.By Monielove45 McBride (2 months ago)Really irritating when it comes to the Pharmacy because they always overcharge me for my medicine. Cashier upfront is always dry. And their text saying the medicine is ready for pick up, is wrong most of the timeBy Just 1 Man (4 years ago)

Great cvs, convenient location, helpful staff.
I often come in for minor things like first aide or fever medication. It’s close to a few schools so sometimes I stop by after and pickup a snack for my kids.
They have a good selection of darker foundations and makeup. The last lipsticks I bought were here. They usually have more creative hair colors, but not as of now. I was considering coloring my hair again but didn’t see any colors I was interested in.By Iman SB (12 months ago)Waiting 30 minutes for a prescription because that was the time I was told at 35 minutes o was told the pharmacist had not even touched
Mine. Asked to get prescription back and had to wait another 10 minutes for that paper back. So I waited 45 minutes and left without my wife’s meds! Worse service ever!!By Scott Angus (5 months ago)The young man that was working Monday, October 17, 2022 at CVS on Ray Thornington was amazing in assisting several guests all at once. He did it with a smile, composed and never flinched.By Hope Wallace (4 months ago)This was a great shopping experience here. That’s it for our list of the best CVS in Montgomery (Selma) AL! If you have any arguments or additional information, please leave a comment. We love to hear from our readers too!
There’s a noticeable lack of convenience stores in this area. This CVS is old…old looking, at least. Maybe I think that because I’m used to CVSs and Walgreens stores being newly built across the street from each other in my area. Whatever the reason, this CVS needs some rehab work. The lady behind the counter was very nice and took our money for a couple of cold drinks as we explored Montgomery.
We were 2+ hours from home and realized my husband didn’t have enough insulin for the weekend. I went to this CVS and they were very courteous to call my pharmacy and have his Rx transferred. I was there less than 30 minutes and they were EXTREMELY busy but didn’t let their customer service be compromised! Will use them again for any needs while in Montgomery!
4/8/2022, approx 10:43am- I did not have a good experience here trying to fill prescriptions. I just had oral surgery and my surgeon gave several paper prescriptions (all individual paper prescriptions). This CVS did not have a pain medicine in stock so we asked if they could fill the other medicines such as the antibiotic, oral rise, etc. They said no, they wouldn’t fill any of them because we got them from the same doctor. What!?? They are all individual prescriptions on different pieces of paper. Ridiculous. Complaining to corporate.
Prescription service isn’t very good. Longer wait, higher prices, limited hour. Also, poor lighting and sketchy characters hangout often in the parking lot.
They’ve greatly improved in customer service in the last six to nine months!
Just in the nick of time, as I was about to
try another pharmacy. A few months back to my surprise a new female pharmacist that I had not seen before called me by name as we passed each other in the aisle one day. That made my day! I used to come in and the clerks would greet me by name as they asked for my DOB with a smile . Then it suddenly stopped. No smiles, no greeting with names or answering the phone (or if answering, putting you on hold for 40-60min). I had just decided to switch, when this young lady changed my mind. Now she’s not the only one who calls me by name again. I once again feel like they want my business and want to help me.
