  1. The pharmacists are great, the rest of the staff either hits or misses. There’s a lot of misinformation given if you don’t speak directly to the pharmacist. They’re busy though, as this pharmacy seems to get a lot of out of town individuals. I had a prescription ordered around 1:00, called them at 2:30 to confirm my prescription was covered by my insurance, and was told it’d be ready at 6:30. Got there at 6:15 and left at 8:15 after being told the pharmacist would get right on it. Normally if there’s an issue, these guys will work with me to make sure I get my medication and that I’m not being charged too much. My problem tonight was not making sure the pharmacist actually knew about my prescription. I was told by the curly haired blonde lady that she’d have the pharmacist fill it. I have an issue with this lady all the time- consistently in a bad mood, but I figured she was good at her job if they kept her around. Tonight changed my outlook on her in particular. The rest of the normal staff is really very helpful (when they have the power to help). I ended up having to wait as multiple people cussed out the pharmacy employees and gave them the absolute hassle over something I was waiting patiently for. I couldn’t do their job- and anyone that doesn’t realize that these people deal with sick individuals all day and the numerous hoops the pharma industry has them jump through- you’re lacking perspective. Eventually things slowed down and I got a chance to speak with the pharmacist. She explained that she was never told I was waiting and remained after the rest of the staff left (and the pharmacy closed) to make sure my prescription was filled. She also went through a whole bunch of hoops to make sure the right medication was in stock. Either way, I didn’t have anywhere to be and the pharmacist herself gave me world class customer service to make sure I was helped even after being cussed at (all shift I’m sure). This would be a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the staff telling me things the pharmacist hasn’t relayed to them- and finding out that they have no way of knowing unless they speak to them. I’m thinking the staff just wants to keep it moving, either way this was one thing I noticed over the 2 hours I sat and observed the CVS Pharmacy. Overall, if you’re patient and understanding you’ll never have any issues. If you’re cranky, it’s likely they’ll stick the blonde lady on you to match your tonality.

Good work- just work on communicating between each other.

    Best Regards,
    Jack

  2. I’m upset with CVS. For the third time this pharmacy chose to not fill a prescribed medication « because the insurance was not going to pay ». Instead of telling me and giving me the option of paying out of pocket, they said nothing. When I got home expecting all my ordered medications to be present, I found one missing… three times. When I inquired, only then was I told the situation with insurance not paying. This is wrong. I then needed to make another trip to obtain my meds and yes, I willingly paid out of pocket. They are keeping prescribed medications from people, not being upfront with people. I’m fed up with CVS. It seems that every since they merged (bought out) other pharmacy companies service has declined. Often while I’m waiting, the employees are having conversations regarding how understaffed and overworked they are. You know, I don’t want to hear the complaining from employees while I’m trying to get service for my medications. They are being paid for their work and should not publicly complain about the very people signing their paycheck!

  3. I went to the pharmacy today to get my asthma medication filled. Joyce was absolutely horrible. I had 3 prescriptions to be filled, she only entered the one that my insurance didnt cover and then stated she couldnt fill my medicine and blamed it on the insurance company. She made a mistake and then instead of doing her job correctly she refused to fill my medicine. She was rude to my insurance company representative and myself. Sunshine health is filing a report pertaining to Joyce’s arrogance as well. Joyce provided me with the worst customer service I’ve ever had and I will never return to CVS because of her horrible people skills. She needs to learn to behave like a professional when she is representing your company. I 100% understand mistakes happen however She didn’t even apologize for having me run all over town all day while being sick trying to figure out what was wrong with insurance or for her nasty attitude. It had nothing to do with insurance it was her error and instead of putting her pride aside to recheck it she refused to do her job. Thank God for Calvin, Amanda, and Kay. they were able to fix her mistake and speak to me like an actual person. I truly feel sorry that they have to work with such a hostile person. I would hate my job if I had a Joyce on my team.

  4. Horrible customer service from the pharmacy department. The actual pharmacist was nice but his help/workers need to be fired. I’d explain but it’s long. They pretty much have no type of common sense. I see why this location has a two star ⭐️ ⭐️ rating. I’ll will never come back to this location. Other locations treat you better & have common sense.

  5. Worst drug store ever. We went to the hospital with Covid. They prescribed som drugs and sent the prescription to this store unfortunately. The store “claimed” that they did not receive it. Th hospital said that they sent it. The pharmacist did not offer to help, even though we had the necessary paperwork. We spent the whole afternoon trying to sort it out.

Every time I shop at CVS I discover something on sale that is just what I needed! I love getting extra value bucks. When I need something ordered that is out of stock, it is back in stock and on the shelf within a couple of days. The staff is always friendly no matter where you shop!

This is Absolutely the best CVS I have had the pleasure of being in. They have been kind and helpful to me every time I walk in. Ven and all the staff in the pharmacy are amazing! They have answered all my questions. They have been so helpful and diligent to keep the line moving. The cashiers and customer associates on the floor are all amazing!! The best customer service CVS has to offer!!!

Standing in line at the pharmacy, had been there for at least 5+ mins. The lady behind the counter just closes the doors right on me and just before it’s closed she decided to tell us to come back after 1:30. An hour from now. Wow. Rude. And I guess it doesn’t matter if you have been in line. I will never come back to this location and I suggest you don’t either. Terrible customer service!!

Elderly woman in line in front of me at the pharmacy. Assistant announced that her Rx would cost $297. The customer was in shock, clearly couldn’t afford it. Embarrassed, too. The assistant told her that there were people waiting in line, and apart from that, the store had x-thousand customers, can’t sort out everyone’s problems. The assistant’s response was loud, totally uncaring.. Zero empathy. I call it cruel.

I usually have a lot of great things to say, I have been printing photos from my T-Mobile Tues and another App where you get free prints. I went to pick up my photos and was told they weren’t paid for, I explained that I used my App and they should be. I was on my way into work so didn’t have much time. The manager walked over and said “well they are not paid for so I can’t release them to you until you pay for them. I said well I really need them. The manager came across very rude. I have no problem with paying for my pics if owed money. The pics are from my son and daughter in laws maturity shoot, so they mean Alot. I’m flying out and it is a gift to them. I went to open them up on my way to work and they were horrible. Some are blurry, color missing in part of pic missing. It looks like someone cut a piece out and pasted it on a sheet. I almost started crying. I don’t ever complain but this means a lot to me and the manager was extremely rude about it. If the manager hadn’t been so rude about it I wouldn’t of even said anything. I work in the service industry and work with people, that is definitely not how you speak to someone.I will be returning these photos tomorrow and having somewhere else print them.

I honestly don’t get the low ratings. EXCELLENT EMPLOYEES!!! Their night shift is the nicest people ever! Very Helpful; PRICES are not cheap. About the same as Publix. And they have lots of basic groceries like fresh bread 🍞. EXCELLENT DRIVE THRU PHARMACY open until 8pm👍🏾

This Daytona location is not my home location but I was very impressed. I walked in for a flu vaccine and was vaccinated within five minutes. I then bought a few items and proceeded to the front desk for check out, where William greeted me and explained the many benefits of a care pass enrollment. He saved me many dollars during my transaction and then explain to me the benefits moving forward. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Every time I come here I have issues. They never have my prescription ready when they say they will. I ordered my prescription this morning and when I came through the drive through they told me to go inside and wait 15min for it to be ready. I have a dog with me so I waited in my car and went inside after 15min. There was a long line of people and decided just to just go back around through the drive through cause I have my dog with me. At this point it’s been 30min of waiting and they told me it still hasn’t been filled and to wait for 20 more minutes. If I didn’t need this prescription today I would’ve changed pharmacy’s and left. When I advised them that I’ve already been waiting the worker had a nasty attitude and told me just to pull forward and wait again. Do not come here if you don’t want inconvenience or problems with filling your prescription.

Am I missing something? Last I checked customer service is a job that serves the public. If you don’t like your job find a new one period. The pharmacy staff at this location need to be retrained on how to talk to the customer. If a customer is rude I understand a staff member defending themselves. There is no excuse for a staff person to be rude when a customer asks a simple polite question period.
