5 Replies to Top 7 Best 24 Hour CVS in Columbus GA

  1. I stopped by CVS to buy a snack & a drink. There was NO ONE to check me out. I am an very good nurse but never trained as a cashier so it is ridiculous to think I can check myself out on a self serve machine. It turned into a total fiasco. The machine would not read the bar code ony drink. A woman came over fixed the machine & walked away wo offering any further help. I could not see the key pad & put in the wrong code. The thing would not let me try again. This is was a horrible experience. I will NEVER go to a CVS again.

  2. I was very happy with pharmacy services. Everyone was kind, considerate and patient. Yes their phone is forever on hold but in person they helped me out with my insurance that would not go through and then had my prescriptions ready the same night. This is compared to me struggling the entire week with another pharmacy who couldn’t even get my insurance right and were not nice.

  3. They keep expired medications. Learned that from waiting 30min for my order. They were informing a patient that was waiting as well that the vaccine they had and was about to administer was expired. She only looked at the box after complaining to staff about leaving boxes outside of refrigerator. Reckless and waste of time.

  4. Absolutely disgusted by the Pharmacy on Hilton Ave Columbus . the short foreign curly haired pharmacist at night is 1. a liar , 2. a racist and 3. just pain rude and horrible . Its like she goes out of her way to lie and inconvenience the customers . she ignored my phone calls to start with even picking up the phone and automatically hanging the phone up . so i go up there and surprise there isn’t a customer in sight , yet shes pretending she’s too busy to even speak to me . as soon as i get her attention shes starts calling someone over the intercom to come back to the pharmacy . she calls them like 5 times in 2 mins and they finally show up just for her to tell the lady to see what i want . Are you serious ????? she can’t even speak to me so she calls the lady from the front to come speak to me ???? then she lies and says the medicine i need to get filled is out of stock and wont be here until 9 am the next day . i come back around 12 and the pharmacist says , they had this medicine last night , its wasn’t out of stock , so she lied so she didn’t have to fill my perspiration. and the pharmacy during the day was so busy yet they still helped me and spoke to me and got my meds ready . so what was her problem , only one thing i can think of , and i already said what it is . worst customer service ever due to the overnight lady . 0 out of 5 stars

  5. Very happy with pharmacy. They are helpful and friendly. I am glad they close briefly (30 min) for lunch; they work continuously. The store layout has changed recently. Once I reoriented myself, I felt the changed were for the better … I can take my time looking for vitamins or bandages without impeding others. The pharmacy area is set up to accommodate easier flow for shoppers and those picking up prescriptions.

    This CVS at Macon Rd.
Columbus , GA should review the staff training. This lady, at the pharmacy, Lawanda, is the rudest person I deal with. How a employee can treat customers so bad. My husband and I traveling from Texas. We felt a little sick so we went to have a rapid Covid test. We encounter road constructions but we got there 15 minutes prior appt time. The line was long but we waited. Lawanda cancel our appt because we were there 5 mintuts past appt. We explained we were there on time. But she said they take a break from 1pm to 2pm I talked to the manager and she agreed with me. Parking is easy access from main street. Pharmacy is clean. Manager was friendly.

Zero stars is not an option so 1 star it is.

The woman behind the counter argued with me when I asked simple clarifying questions. She snapped at the two younger gentleman (very kind but busy) when they asked her a question and stormed off when there was a line of at least 10 people.

I know it’s a busy pharmacy and everyone seems to be short-staffed, but there is no need for this fail of customer service or professional courtesy.

A separate time I had a coupon for another prescription that they “tried” to put in and said it “didn’t work.” When I showed them the instructions from the pharmaceutical website, they said they didn’t have time to read it so I could “Go ahead and spend the $267 for it or they’d send it back.”

Final straw is today. I had significant outpatient surgery this morning and a prescription was placed to assist with the pain.
When my son took the prescription to the counter to be filled they said they didn’t have it and called the next customer in line. No follow-up, no suggestions of where else he could go, nothing . They didn’t even take the prescription request to enter it in the system to call me when it may be ready!

I will no longer use CVS for any of my needs and will encourage others to seek assistance and supplies elsewhere.

Most convenient location and seems to always have sale items in stock (if you go early enough). Hoping for more self checkouts at this location…that’s the only reason I gave it a 4 stars 🌟!

Very rude staff. I don’t recommend going here. Pharmacy purposely mess with your meds so you can’t get them. Terrible place.

This is by far the WORST customer service I’ve ever received at a pharmacy! No one that works here behaves like they want to work here. The female pharmacist is rude and the staff is horrible to customers! I’ll NEVER be back!

With very few exceptions, the pharmacy staff is horrible! They have terrible attitudes and Very clearly show their frustration. I’m sure they are overworked and overwhelmed but the level is service given is unbelievably bad. Picking up last prescription from them today and will never go back. I’ll go out if my way and use CVS on Double Churches Road.

The pharmacists will hang up on you. Literally said “Hello…bye”. Go in person so they can’t avoid talking to you or don’t use this CVS period if you can.

Ok-first, the staff in the pharmacy is excellent. They are kind, knowledgeable, and appear to care about the customers. This store is also very conveniently located and open late, for last minute purchases. The issue-the pharmacy is so woefully understaffed at all hours, that things are often not ready on time (don’t blame the staff, CVS, blame upper level management who starves the front line of resources). Prescriptions not ready on time include children’s antibiotics. I would suggest CVS upper management look at staffing with 3-4 pharmacists at all times, including end of day when they are the most short staffed. Also, the pharmacy needs more cashiers and techs. The wait times at the drive through would probably decrease of staffing level was appropriate.

I can’t give a zero stars. I have been using this pharmacy for 2 years nearly and they are always slow etc but I give them a break cause it looks like they try. Two days ago I get a text from them that my BP is ready. I think to myself good cause I don’t have to call them cause there’s only 2 pills left. I show up today and it’s not ready. They have filled a med that I do not need. This med has never been filled because the script needs to be renewed by MD. I’m like what ?!! You just sent me a text two days ago it was ready. The lady with I think braces and long black hair just kept repeating herself. No renewed script no meds and I am like you sent me a text two days ago it was ready. And don’t you guys typically call for renewed scripts from doc when they are needed ? She says yes we do. I replied I know you do because You’ve sent me alerts that you have contact the physician to renew meds. She then just kept replying they don’t have a refill order for my bp meds . And tomorrow I need to call the doctor to get the new script from the doctor myself . Tonight I’ll miss the dose of meds I am suppose to take. Thank you CVS … you really care about your patients safety ! And it shows ! And you bet I’ll call the cardiologist tomorrow and I will be transferring my meds to another pharmacy . Now I understand the reviews. It just took me nearly two years to get what everyone was saying
