Horribly rude employees. Just because you are located near a college is no excuse for having rude employees.
Worst experience ever in any CVS in this country…really sad. Train your people to be nice. I will, literally, never shop there again. Even if I have to travel further. Do better. I mean, look at your review status. 😏 😢By Lyn (6 months ago)Weza is one of the best employees I’ve ever come in contact with. He helped me with my return on my humidifier and was just so friendly and helpful. He deserves so much praise for his kind work today. Wonderful wonderful job! Thank you!By Madeline Ritter (a week ago)Pharmacy seems understaffed right now but the pharmacists there are doing their best and I’ve had only positive experiences with them, even if slightly longer waits. They are extremely patient given how nuts this store is sometimes.By Leslie N (a month ago)Not only have I witnessed the manager being rude to customers, he treats and talks to employees with an attitude, nasty tone, and disrespect as if they’re below him. Zero stars isn’t a possibility and if negative stars were a possibility, I’d give it. There are other Cvs stores where the management is way better and I’d recommend those locations over this one any day. Don’t waste your time shopping or working here. A new store manager is needed.By Jay Reyes (10 months ago)So thankful for the pharmacy team here!! My insurer had denied paying for a med I newly have a prescription for. Luckily, I found out the pharmaceutical company had a voucher to get it for free (worth more than $600); however, between the voucher’s expiration date for the following day, the rarity of this med/lack of immediate supply at this location, and my having to coordinate on the phone and my providers being unavailable over the holiday, the pharmacy team pulled through to make sure I’d have it in time. Words can’t express my gratitude—I feel so relieved that I’m one step closer to better health!By Claire T. Dinh (a year ago)

I’m trying to buy some face wash, but everything is locked up and no one has the key. Went to Walgreens down the road instead and no issues.By David Stevens (a week ago)The manager at this store is one of the rudest and disrespectful people I have ever meet.
I had a problem with doing a money order and not only wasn’t she not helpful, she also accused me of being a liar. Unbelievably unprofessional – I will never return to that store.
Not sure if this is how CVS wants to be perceived.By Verena Millermann (4 months ago)I like shopping in this particular CVS store in Copley Square because of their products and because the Employees are very professional and helpful to me when I shop at this location! There are many different types of products available for sale.By Shelley Mintz (3 months ago)Never satisfied with their customer service. YOU WILL EXPERIENCE SOME KINDA CULTURE SHOCK if this is your first time living in Boston. I am sure the owner of that lousy store is one of the worst in the world. Lots of stuff is being locked up, if you hit the bell to buy, no one would come to help you. All employees have a jaded, kinda stuck-up attitude. Treat the customers accordingly by the colors. This store is the pure example why a lot of people don’t like living downtown.By Selki Yang (7 months ago)Besides the products if you go at night , they follow you, We we’re just buying chips. No bags and no privacy when you pay and put the cc on to payBy Andrea Suarez (6 months ago)

Dumpster fire. There are too many problems with this pharmacy to list in a single review. The last straw for me was when I made an appointment for the booster shot online. CVS sent me multiple confirmations for the appointment, including a reminder just 1 hour before. Well, I took a day off work and I show up and patiently wait in line only to find out they’re out of the vaccine and they’ve been out for days. I understand that there may be high demand for this shot, but CVS didn’t bother to let me know until after I wasted my time signing up for an appointment, scheduled a day off work, traveled to the store, and waited in line. Worst of all the pharmacist was really rude about it, like it was some kind of great inconvenience for her to spend 30 seconds explaining this to me. She told me to go online and make another appointment, but I’ve had enough of this place. The last time I was here they had the vax vial and needles sitting out in a corner of the store, unguarded for anyone to tamper with. And the store is a magnet for the homeless; I respect homeless people, some are very sweet – but I definitely don’t want to be injected with needles that they’ve had access to without any supervision. Fortunately, there’s a very nice Walgreens just down the street with competent pharmacists and a private room for vaccinations. Save yourself the hassle and go to Walgreens to begin with.
I honestly wonder if this place has something shady going on, because they obviously aren’t focused on filling legitimate medicine. I’ve had the app claim my medicine was filled, then when I go to pick it up, they’re out of stock… recently, they only filled half my baby’s antibiotic for his ear infection because they didn’t have the right bottle size? Then when we tried to get the rest of it, they claimed they were out of stock. Also, all the pharmacy employees are constantly angry and indignant if you ask a single follow up question. That behavior is so ubiquitous, it’s almost as if they’re trained to behave that way. I’m starting to wonder how this place stays in business at all.
Scheduled a covid booster and flu shot at this location. Showed up on time and was told the pharmacist was running late to work and that the pharmacy was closed. We were told to.come back in “maybe an hour but I don’t have an exact ETA.” … Great.
I went back home, called in about an hour and sure enough the pharmacist was there. Headed back to the pharmacy and was met by the mother of all lines.
Have currently been waiting for 75 minutes and there are still 8 people ahead of me. The one pharmacist has been handling only prescriptions for the last 40 minutes while his two CVS helpers are also serving people getting prescriptions.
This place is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from the CVS on W. Broadway in South Boston.
Tried to order 10 photos, but after I had picked up and paid for my prints I realized when I got home that they’d only printed 2 out of the 10 photos. When I called the employee who answered said that they were aware of the fact that their printer wasn’t working and I was going to have to come in to discuss with the manager. I’m surprised that they thought it was appropriate to barely fill my order, not inform me, and let me leave missing most of my photos. On top of that, if I wanted a refund I would need to go in and argue my case with a manager. I will say that I’ve never had any issues with their pharmacy, but outside of that shopping at this CVS is always headache inducing. Thankfully there’s a Walgreens up the street that’s always clean and much more organized, so I’ll be taking my business there since I don’t feel the need to argue over a $13 photo order. This place is always crowded, so I doubt they’ll miss my business, but figured I’d warn anyone who needs photos printed that this is not the location to do it.
Absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever done business with. I’ve waiting on hold for hours at a time. My doctor recommended I switch pharmacies. While trying to switch new pharmacy said it would be a while because this location doesn’t answer their phones. Chronically understaffed. Asking rude and invasive personal questions for the whole pharmacy to hear. What an absolute mess! Do something good for your health and don’t use this disaster pharmacy. They also made mistakes routinely because of the staffing issues. Are you willing to harm your health because they can’t keep anyone in staff??
