The prices were surprisingly EXTRA inflated but they were definitely stocked with everything, probably a little overstocked because the store looks very cluttered. However, I was able to find what I needed through the organized chaos and the 2 employees I did encounter there were very nice and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was that they’re in the aisles, zoning and stocking meanwhile no one is at the front register and you’re just expected to use one of the 2 self check out machines and if/when you need help you have to leave the self check out and literally go find the associate to help you. Maybe they were short staffed but at least they were pleasant about helping once they were found.By Aigner Francis (a month ago)Anytime I come in here, the only person on the floor is a lady named Faith. She provides good service, but I can tell she’s overworked by the amount of customers she has to deal with on her own. This location needs more staff or better management so that customers aren’t stuck waiting for assistance and employees aren’t overburdenedBy Jamie H. (3 months ago)Hands down without a question the worst CVS in the city. Every month I need to fight them for my basic medication. No one in there cares, the lines are practically out the door, and the store is. filthy and dilapidatedBy John Ballard (2 weeks ago)Pharmacy staff is rude as hell.. I called to see if my insurance was covering my prescription & I was told “if you really want to know you’ll call your insurance” with an attitude. Why do I have to call my insurance if you got the answer? SmhBy Vee Marie (in the last week)This is the worst pharmacy I have ever seen in my adult life. I once had a pharmacy from this store refused refuse to fill my prescription after being in line for 25 minutes because she felt that she didn’t have time because she had A-line of people waiting. My doctor called in a prescription On Tuesday and here it is Thursday my Thursday my prescription has not been filled, I went to the pharmacy which was supposed to be open at 8 AM at 9:30 the pharmacy was closed up, no one seems to know if someone is going to come in to fill prescriptions. I have been calling over and over and over on the telephone with no answer. This place really needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!By Cheryl Joseph (5 months ago)

Extremely disappointed. I’ve been using this pharmacy for over a year now and I had a prescription sent to the pharmacy yesterday. It has been 24 hours and it is not showing as ordered on my account so I call my doctor, she said it went through successfully but resent it again anyway. It is STILL not showing on my account and no one will pick up the phone. I am forced to switch pharmacies just to get my med needed medication I was suppose to get yesterday. This is dangerous when it involves peoples health. Unacceptable.By Michele Shultis (3 months ago)13SEP22 Update: Amazingly happy. Pharmacy is still fully staffed. Store has been completely uncluttered, all shelves stocked, AND security at the door. HUGE improvement. Bumping to 4 stars for as long as they keep this up!
25JUN22 Update: The pharmacy now seems fully staffed or close to it. Two prescriptions this week were filled same day, two checkout lines, and I saw a total of 4 people working. Let’s hope this holds for the same of the employees and the customers!
This CVS is a hot mess. Frequently out of… Half the stuff in the store, cluttered beyond belief, and a pharmacy that is grossly overworked, understaffed, and as a result, they request you call them in advance to remind them to refill your prescriptions. And it often takes multiple days to get filled – don’t even try calling. They don’t answer the phone. In addition, they only have self checkout available every time I’ve been. This is tragic because it is the only pharmacy in the neighborhood and also the only place that sells some convenience like items. Judging by the locked up toothpaste, deodorant, razors, etc – it seems this place has rampant shoplifting, not at all helped by the apathetic staff and self checkout setup that seems it would be easy to grab and go. Before doing this review, I sent an email to CVS corporate, which only said they would pass my concerns along to the manager. I feel terribly for the lower income folks and elderly folks that can’t simply drive to somewhere else. This place is in a perfect location and with some security measures and caring staff/management, could be a great location. But currently, it is not.
By Chris Douglas (6 months ago)This is the worst CVS Pharmacy.I’ve switched Pharmacies because they are the worst to get a hold of. I’ve had to call a few times to have them transfer my prescriptions elsewhere or just make sure they have my prescriptions and I’ll be left on hold for over 30+ minutes. When this happens to me I call the front (non pharmacy part) and have them transfer me to the pharmacy but I always end up on hold for another 30+ minutes again! This is EXTREMELY inconvenient when I need my prescription and have no way of going into the store as I’m out of state. They’ve also put my prescription on “hold” even though my psychiatrist has called to transfer it to another pharmacy because again this pharmacy is useless. I couldn’t deal with the frustrations anymore so did the right thing and switched pharmacies but they still managed to screw that up too.
The not being able to speak to someone on the phone in the pharmacy department happens whether it’s 9am, 12pm, 3pm or 6pm.
If you need prescriptions, save yourself the frustration and go to another pharmacy like The pharmacy in Harris Teeter.
By Kaya Julliard (4 months ago)I’ve been in the store three times today. It’s now five o’clock pm and my prescriptions still have not been filled. Last night I was there and they said someone was sick and they were closing early. People behind the counter are just standing around doing nothing. I haven’t had my medications in three days because of this store’s ethics. The CVC is located on South Charles’ Street in Baltimore. I have never been treated so badly. The store rating would of been a zero if you offered on. If I was manager I would fire the whole bunch of them.. I will not go back or refer anyone to the store.By Michael Johnson (2 months ago)I had prescription filled yesterday. Having been calling for two days and no one answers the phone. And the regular store. Last time i got prescription filled. I stood in soap aisle for twenty minutes waiting for someone with a key to open the case. I told them. Nevermind I’ll buy it somewhere else.By Jordan Champagne (2 months ago)

That’s it for our list of the best CVS in Baltimore MD! If you have any arguments or additional information, please leave a comment. We love to hear from our readers too!
HORRIBLE!!!!!!! If I could give a zero star I would, not sure how they’re still open and running. Just read alll of the negative reviews and believe them. They always screw up the medication amount/the quantity we’ve had issues with this where they tell you “the machine dispenses the right amount” but yet there’s not enough in the bottle to finish out the prescription. As you’ve read from others, customer service is terrible. They are rude short and never answer the phone. You will sit on the phone for a good half hour and maybe get through to someone. Or they’ll answer the phone finally and then hang up. Someone needs to report this cvs and close it down. Oh and yes-you wait 20-30 mins per car and the line inside is sometimes out the door. They never open on time they are understaffed pharmacist always shows up late. Just close them down already
I was told at 10 my prescriptions would be ready at 12:30. I called after 2 because they still wasn’t done yet. The young lady who answered my call has the WORSE customer service ever. It was convenient for me to go here because I work across the street, but after today I will not be returning.
The pharmacy is the worst. Prescriptions are never ready. Some employees are very unprofessional. Work ethics are personality before principles. At one time I really liked cvs but they switch staff often and u can see that they really don’t want to be there. Good quality customer service will save your business. Is this where our healthcare workers are going . The standard has been lowered.
Thank you,
Peace and joy
Absolutely, by far, the worst pharmacy. And nobody seems to want to even apologize when they screw up. They just act like you coming to pick something up that they said they filled, but didn’t, is your fault. Then they tell you to reorder and come back. And then you do. And it’s not there. And they still don’t apologize.
Rude incompetence aside, they are going to kill someone with their mistakes. They won’t apologize for it, but they’re going to do it
Find anywhere else to go. You’d get better quality and service on a street corner in the city.
Pharmacy RX Staff didn’t have knowledge of different types of “state real IDS” so I got turned away with my state issued PA drivers license ID. never had a problems before with this here or anywhere where it is scanned. Three people said I couldn’t pick up my prescriptions because a manager wasn’t there so I had to wait until the next day. 6 minutes later I attempted to return with a valid MD license and they had closed the booth staff wouldn’t check me out. This made me late and behind on BOTH my daily doses which was not a fun situation it was terrible. I will be switching pharmacies as a result IF/after I am finally able to collect my prescriptions.. Happy holidays!
