I popped into this store on a whim deciding to get my passport photos taken, and Bob was a fantastic help! I could tell he was busy stocking the store, but he was happy to put it aside and he answered all of my questions, took my picture swiftly and expertly, and he processed my photos and payment incredibly fast! He also took the time to ask me if I wanted to save $10 by getting a CVS card. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Also, the pictures were great! Excellent service
Needed to pick a diabetes test and determine care follow up plan. Pharmacist Elizabeth was present, patient and thorough in helping me pick a test kit and showing me how to use it. Hers was the ideal kind of interaction I’ve always wanted but don’t get from my PCP and specialists. Excellent and reassuring experience.
Store is disgusting. Smells, garbage everywhere, empty shelves. Couldn’t even get checked out and just left the stuff at the counter. I don’t know how a company like CVS tolerates this on their brand.
i truly hate writing bad reviews as someone who has worked in customer service for 5 years. however, this was such a frustrating experience for so many reasons. i was purchasing snacks at the self checkout and it started calling for assistance. normally this just means an employee needs to scan their card to finish the checkout. there was one man on checkout, so i waited patiently for him to come over after he finished with his customer. but then he took the next person, and the next, i’ll while the machine loudly called for an employee. i asked him if he could help and he said he called SECURITY so they should help. he continues about his day, the line getting v long. and so obviously when security comes up they leave and tell him to scan the machine. and then he just… continues to stand there. maybe he truly didn’t know what to do, but surely he could’ve offered to check us out or gotten assistance to shorten his line? we waited for 10 minutes and finally a woman comes up to him. he says nothing about the situation and let’s her walk away. i felt like i was literally in a dream i was so confused and the line was so ridiculously long so i ended up leaving my stuff and leaving. i’m not blaming just the man at the checkout, but clearly there needs to be better training/assistance? don’t schedule one person who doesn’t know the ins and outs yet.
It’s hard to decide which of the ransacked sketchy chain pharmacies in downtown Burlington is worse. This one is self checkout only so I suppose it’s vaguely easier to steal things, but also has less stuff to steal. I never walk out of this place feeling better than when I walked in. I call it a tie with the Walgreens.
