  1. Incompetent staff wasted my money, my time, and made me reschedule an important appointment. Did not understand the basic situation at hand, even though it was caused by negligence on their part. Just won’t come back here.

  2. Worst service I’ve had at a CVS. Called 3 days in a row to the pharmacy department and stayed on hold for over an hour each time. Eventually gave up and called another CVS and they answered within 3 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous and will not be returning to this CVS. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

  3. THIS STORE DOESNT KNOW THEIR OWN POLICIES AND LIED ABOUT IT.

They gave my wife a Covid test at 1130am 12/19 in the drive thru she gave her confirmation code and social, my wife gave the test back and drove off, at 1134am they called her and said “we don’t have insurance they won’t be able to give us test results” we filled out everything online in regards to us having no insurance. I was otp with the 1800 cvs number and they told me that is false, you are allowed to get Covid tests without insurance and I’m entitled to my results. They added a note that said the pharmacy would reach out around 3pm with my results. 3pm came along no word so I reach back out and the pharmacy never processed the test and threw it away after that phone call to my wife at 1134am when they said they won’t give her results.

Ester is the pharmacist who I spoke to before I called the 1800 number, she was rude during our conversation and in the middle of it she left the phone off the hook for about 3 minutes it disconnected hung up. I have time stamps of all the phone calls I’m sure they would match up to your security cameras.

I also spoke to CVS customer relations and while I was on the phone with them I called this location back so they could get on record saying “ covid tests can’t be given out to people with no insurance.” Customer relations once again said that was false and filed my complaint.

While writing this comment customer relations called me back and said they reached out to the store and they were in fact wrong and this never should have happened.

  4. Black pharmacist lady, idk her name. Rude af. Hung up on me twice in the past two days. Failed to let me know my prescription was out of stock right after my wisdom teeth removal. She is rude and very unhelpful. If she hates her job she can just say that and move on, but there’s people who actually need her help and she doesn’t give a f. Go to another pharmacy. Half their medications are out of stock anyway. Rude af and very unhelpful.

Been going to CVS for years so when we couldn’t get Vyvance at CVS in Target, they called and found it at this location. We use to go here all the time until they went from 24 hours to closing early. Anyway, dropped off the prescription and we told it would be ready in an hour. Came back the following day and was told since we weren’t REGULAR customers at this location, they didn’t have to honor our prescription! Then they said they could give us 30 pills of the 90 days prescription but no way we were getting 90 because they were reserving it for their REGULARS! Don’t go here; bad service, slow , and very rude!

My doctor put in for a prescription that I needed immediately. The pharmacy took over 24 hours to get it ready & was only told they were behind. I’ll never come back here again & will drive a little further for a better pharmacy.

After getting a prescription, the instructions say “if you have any questions about the medication contact the pharmacist”. I did that. It took 12 minutes for anyone to pick up and then a total of 14 to talk to a pharmacist. It took less than 10 seconds to answer my question.

The manager here, Jennifer helped me out tremendously with issues involving items being out of stock (though listed as being in stock through the app) and was so kind in her efforts to help me out. So kudos to this branch for doing a great job 👏 💛

I never give reviews on Google but I do take the company surveys. Almost every month I sit on hold with this CVS for 40+ minutes to fill prescriptions that I can’t use the app for since it is a controlled substance. I have submitted reviews to CVS directly but they have yet to respond or fix the issue. The only way I get faster service is if I go to the store and stand in long line. Unfortunately, this store’s pharmacy now closes during my lunch hour so I have to either stand and wait in the ridiculous line after my shift or sit on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. Several times they have not had my prescriptions ready by the “promised” times. As I am writing this review, I am going on 50+ minutes on hold. This is ridiculous!

For those who have had bad experiences at CVS (I was one) please read this. I just moved to the Wilmington, NC area and had a lot of trouble converting my prescriptions over. As a diabetic, insulin is a matter of life and death. Due to timing, the wrong prescription was sent to CVS and then sold to me without me knowing it, I purchased the wrong insulin. The store couldn’t take it back and even though it was technically a new prescription the insurance wouldn’t cover it.

I called in a panic because I was almost out of insulin and Thank GOD I got Nina. She was calm and quickly understood the situation and the history. She was able to get me an emergency dosage the next day with insurance coverage.

She called me to come to get the prescription which took about 20 minutes. By the time I got there, she had found a discount coupon that reduced the price from $195 to $75. No words could express my thanks and hope you will do as I did and give CVS another chance if you have had a bad experience at this store.

I had a rough experience with another CVS in Wilmington and with their customer service phone number, and came to the Eastwood CVS in hopes they could help me out.

Not only did they help me out with my issue, but they did so with kindness and good communication. I will absolutely shop at this CVS moving forward 💛✨

At the checkout, there was an elderly gentleman working who was talking to someone (seemed like he knew her) on the floor…and as I was at the self check out, I inquired about using a CVS card because I didn’t have one. He looked at me blankly and said, “Oh, I’d have to help you at the checkout” and proceeded to turn around and continue talking . Customer service kind of let me down. (The gentleman wasn’t even behind the register)

I needed to transfer my meds from the CVS in Hickory area to This CVS. Dominique, the pharmacist was super helpful, professional and cordial while doing so. Then at the register when I was ready to pay for other items, Miles in customer service was so wonderful as well and app savvy! Wonderful customer service! Thank you much!

I feel as though the pharmacy could be better organized and ran a lot smoother. There has always been an issue when I go pick up a prescription, even when I get a call saying it’s ready for pick up. On the last visit, the brunette lady in the pharmacy area was very miserable. She didn’t greet me, snatched my phone from my hand to see the GoodRX app, walked away and then slide my phone back to me. She didn’t ask if I had questions and didn’t even acknowledge me. Oh well, maybe she was having a bad day!
