when I got home my visa gift card was active, but it is not working on any site, and it keeps getting declined even though I have the money for the item and am using it properly and it will be not useable.By Rat Rat (a month ago)The pharmacy is needs more staff and new leadership. They don’t answer the phone except to hang up on people who have been waiting for a long time. When you’re in the store, the pharmacy won’t acknowledge you while you wait. No smiles, no eye contact. It takes hours to accomplish what other places do in minutes.By PJ Yarosh (8 months ago)Very rude and disrespectful pharmacy service.
1. I once on the phone for 1 hours and no one pick up the phone.
2. When I went in to pick up Prescriptions, the pharmacist was so rude and disrespectful. Unbelievable this service done by a professional with phD degree.
3. More unbelievable that no one done anything about itThe other CVS on same street which is on corner of 50th and flower ave are much nicer and professional. I would never go back to this pharmacy again. No wonder there is two CVS store in the same street I was just wondering why l, well because this cvs is horrible.
By Yu Huei Chen (5 months ago)They say you can get COVID test results in1-2 days but we have waited 4 days and when you try and call the pharmacy NO ONE answers I was on hold 27 minutes then called the store number to see if there was anyone even in the pharmacy and called back and still got no one IWould not recommended this store to AnyoneBy Donna Schaubert (5 months ago)This is a time I wish I could give a ZERO. This pharmacy is without adult supervision. Customer no service…..don’t expect any…then you won’t be disappointed. This is being kind.By Jim Sanders (a month ago)

Love this CVS!! They have a minute clinic, tons is staff and always stocked up with snacks, medicine (duh) and cosmetics! They also keep the inside nice and clean! This is a fairly large CVS! Parking is great and so is the drive through!By isabellagoria (8 months ago)I found the supervising pharmacist to be rude and condescending. He argued with me about a way to bill my insulin and told me I was wrong. I offered to give him the name a number if a pharmacist who knew how to bill this through Medicare. He told me “I don’t need somebody telling me how to
Bill”. He Handed me
My
Prescription and told me to take it to Walgreens. I did so and found a very professional pharmacist who took
My persecution and told me she was unfamiliar with the billing I was talking about but would take the name of the person I had offered to the CVS Napoleon. I was call the next day that my meds were ready and there was no co-pay. When I approached the CVS store with this I was pretty much brushed aside. Manager and pharmacist would not meet me. Manager stayed in his office and pharmacist left the building.By Don Jackson (10 months ago)This pharmacy is literally the worst. Long wait times, and when you do get to the window they don’t have what they confirmed via text was ready for pickup. This has happened a few times to me. Also even though I’ve told them several times that I can’t have a generic, my doctor wrote it on the script, they keep filling the generic instead of the name brand. I asked for a note in my info, whatever, to keep it straight but every single time I go to get this name brand drug they fill the generic. Totally incompetent, high turnover, just awful. I’m moving.By Liz C. (9 months ago)I’ve been a CVS customer for decades. I parked in there lot to go get some food, my car was towed. The sign said CVS customers only I’ve been a CVS customer my whole life until yesterday. I was curious to see who called in to tow my car. I inquired with the manager inside, who called to have my car towed. He fed me a life or BS but in his explanation “he mentioned they watch you from the bush like native Americans waiting to strike” which is indeed racially insensitive. If CVS would spend more time hiring quality employees instead of turning their parking lots into legalized crime they probably wouldn’t get so many bad reviews. I will be contacting corporate Monday.By Userfivezerofive1039 (10 months ago)It’s perfect in quirky ways and quirky in perfect ways. 1* Acknowledged when walking in. 2* Staff honors customers with dignity. 3* My experience was that the staff was able to assist me with anything I needed to find and respond to me according to my preference, with a strong customer focus and a clear purpose of helping people. 4* Treated with a lot of respect, as a valued customer. 5* Access to restrooms is fine, even if they are a little dirty. This store is in a nice, safe neighborhood surrounded by nice homes situated near the bay… but this section of South Howard is right in the middle of South Tampa’s most concentrated collection of decent restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, this section of South Howard becomes a bar crawl for large quantities of upwardly mobile drunk people. This CVS is at the midway point on this restaurant strip, and a lot of civil but drunk people loudly stagger in, loudly stagger through the parking lot, and loudly stagger down the street. The parking lots at the restaurants get packed, so people who are not shopping at CVS apparently park in the CVS parking lot thinking that it’s no big deal. The employees provide friendly, inclusive service, but the management of this store probably has to really struggle with the after-sunset cocktail crowd that mistakes this store for Café du Monde, and with the customers of other businesses that mistake the CVS parking lot for a free parking lot that nobody shopping at CVS uses. All I can say is if you’re shopping there during the hours when people have dinner and you plan to be there longer than five minutes, listen closely for your car to be described over the loud speaker. If you hear it, go quickly to the front of the store to claim your car. If you need to use the restroom, tell the cashier first so that your car doesn’t get towed.By R A (4 years ago)

Carla at the pharmacy did an amazing job saying Good Morning strong eye to eye contact. There was an issue with my medication she took the time sent a request to the doctor for corrections and my medication was available immediately. She is definitely at work
Horrible service. Today I waited for 85 minutes total over three calls at 9am, 12pm, and 5pm, the longest being 53mins, and no one in pharmacy ever picked up. I walked into the store still on the phone, only to hear their answering system announcing “Three pharmacy calls.. Three pharmacy calls.. Four pharmacy calls..” clear as day while waiting in line, one of them being mine. The entire team left the phone ringing the whole time I was there. Once I was able to speak to the pharmacy staff, I was told the medication was out of stock. So I spent nearly 1.5hrs on hold and physically drove to the store only to find they can’t fill my script anyway. It’s now too late to call the provider to send this somewhere else, so I’m out of luck. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to drive to the store to talk to anyone. They consistently ignore the phone. While waiting in line glancing around to pass the time, I noted an empty pill bottle on the floor in the staff area, at least two pills on the floor, and watched an employee remove excess pills from a count with bare hands before pouring them into a patient bottle.
I’m taking my business elsewhere.
HOW ABOUT FIVE ZEROS. ABSOLUTELY KNOW STAR’S. ZERO!!!! WHO!!!??? DO I/WE contact or write to?! Someone needs to get INVOLVE n help us the consumer, us the one’s putting our families n self’s in hands of who we believe is gonna be there when we most need them, I for one am tired of calling n calling n not one soul picks up, 12-19 minutes waiting for someone to pick up the phone to get the worse person with absolutely know respect or manners. I blame CVS you make enough money to hire n train these folks on how to handle different situations. CVS pharmacy we could have gone with any other pharmacy, but we the consumer choose you n you in return slap us in the face.
Waited in a 7 car line for prescriptions for over one hour. Tried calling the store and the phone just rang and nobody answered in pharmacy for over one hour. These were prescriptions prescribed from an emergency room for an emergency medical condition. When I finally arrived at the window, that took another 15 minutes. No apology. Nobody asked if I had questions about the medications. Nothing. Avoid this hot mess. Horrible!!!! Would give zero stars if I could.👎
Management there is the most unprofessional sickening thing you will ever experience. As a frequent and old shopper at this location I have seen them lose great employees because the preference given to certain employees by Melissa the head manager like for example Aramis, Alejandro and the other young kid Andy. The 2 young kids Alejandro and Andy are super arrogant and Aramis is just rude and not helpful you can ask if they have certain of any product in stock and without even checking his scanner or checking in the back will flat out just say no there isn’t any of that product and when you ask another employee if that product is available it surely is he is just lazy and again flat out rude he is very loud and from other isles you can hear him complain about other customers which is very unprofessional and he is constantly complaining he wants to go home already and when leaving saying he’s happy to get out of there. corporate needs to send secret shoppers or do surprise visits into the store so they can see all these unprofessional employees bickering and not doing their job properly and the head manager Melissa watching them and hearing them and not doing anything about it, like the leader she should be putting a stop to this behavior.
