Just the other day I spent half hour in the drive through. Most times the wait is usually at least 15 minutes. I will transfer my prescriptions to Medicine Shoppe. I’ve never had to wait more than 5-7 minutes.By Dianne Nichols (a week ago)The pharmacist at this location is a lonely, unhappy little man who needs to learn some manners. I’ve never felt so disrespected.By Sarah (a month ago)These people literally have one job and I don’t think they could have hit further from the mark. These people move at the pace of a sloth. They keep closing earlier and earlier, and it takes days for them to fill anything. Go to Walgreens, get your stuff transferred there.By Shannon Norton (4 months ago)I went to get photos taken for my passport. The employee up front was helping a customer through the checkout, so I waited in line. I could hear the employee helping the customer save money, and next thing I knew, the employee gave her a great big hug! I worked a lot of years in retail, and hugs are RARE. The employee’s name was Marie M., I believe. She got my photos and got me rung up, and I could tell she was knowledgeable and kind. I just wanted to shout out what an asset she is to CVS and what good customer service she is providing.By R Cusick (10 months ago)I don’t typically count my prescription, but I decided to today because of an experience I had months ago. I was given 13 pills (should have been 14), and when I called about it, the pharmacist was extremely rude and all but called me a liar. I want to be clear that it was a man, because the female pharmacist who I usually get is always very on top of things.
This comes months after I received a call from them one day telling me that I was prescribed too much of my medication, and when I went to count it, I was actually short by 1 pill. When I told them that, they sounded very confused and never contacted me back about it again.
There is something weird going on there, and I intend to report it today.

It’s alright. A little over priced, especially on food, drinks and other on shelf items. The pharmacy usually says “it’ll be ready in 20 minutes” on prescriptions I’ve dropped off and got before leaving, but a lot of times it’s a 30-45 minute wait. Customer service is not even at Walmart’s level, which says a lot (that’s bad!). There’s rarely more than three or four other customers inside, if any.By Jimmy Conway (a year ago)I went in a few days ago and was taken aback a little bit. They have a policy that each customer is let in and the door is locked behind them. Which is against more laws than I can think of and a huge safety issue. Then they have no cashiers just self checkout which didn’t even have bags, but the person at the front door can’t leave it and there’s no one else on staff. I asked the person at the door and the pharmacist for help finding an item, they both told me different asides and I eventually found it nowhere near where either of them said. The door locking thing though is enough to make me never set foot in the store again.By Steven Church (6 months ago)Security had to unlock the door to let me in, then locked it behind him. The neighborhood is that bad, that people have been robbing and stealing from this location it’s made temporary prisoners of it’s patrons.By Lord Rev. Shaun Boswell (a month ago)Pharmacy – My physician called in a prescription for me last week. I called the auto line to confirm it was ready for pick-up and it indicated that it was. After waiting in line 5+ mins(I was the only person at the counter) while the 2 technicians fumbled around in the back going through baskets, I guess looking for someone else prescription, one of them finally came to assist. I went through the drill, name, DOB etc. He said, there is no prescription on file for you. I told him that the phone service indicated it was ready. I confirmed the store location # 04191. He said let me see if you have a different profile. Came back with a flat NO! He say’s I guess our phone system is giving out incorrect information and walked away. Talk about being RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Calling my physician to have my prescription sent somewhere else.By Cynthia Johnson (a year ago)If I could give negative stars I would. This CVS on 4100 Gravois is the absolute worst pharmacy on this planet. Every single month and I mean every month I have problems with getting my prescriptions. For the past 8 months I’ve had to pick up medicine every month. I was in a horrible accident where I had to learn to walk and talk again and I have problems with getting my medicine every single time. When asked why is it so hard to pick up my medicine every single month I never get a answer just promises that it won’t happen again and the next month same issue. Plus the staff is unfriendly and very unprofessionalBy Melissa Whaley (9 months ago)

Consistently waiting for prescriptions that are supposed to autorefill. They’ve changed my prescription brand for the last 3 pick up times with no regard to preference or no warning ahead of time so I can go elsewhere.
My husband had a covid test scheduled at this location and he was turned away at his appointment time due to “staff shortage” with no phone call or heads up.
So much incompetence, not worth the headache go somewhere else
Would post zero stars if I could.
A museum of retail…not a store.
If you have ordinary consumer products behind locked glass cabinets then you need to a strong staff presence out on the floor.
But, THERE IS NO ONE AROUND.
The whole vibe of this establishment is: “Please don’t come in! Please don’t bother us!”
So, do them a favor…don’t go in.
Walgreens – a real drug store – just a couple of blocks to the west.
They need new pharmacy staff because the ladies working at CVS pharmacy on Lindell Blvd do not know how to do prior authorizations with the doctors so the insurance company can pay for customers meds and I was denied my medication. I went to VAN’S DELIVERY PHARMACY on LEMAY FERRY ROAD and not only did they get ALL OF MY MEDS authorized, but they also gave me free asthma and diabetic supplies and they delivered them directly to my home.
I needed a refill that is hard to get in the area right now and I called the pharmacist who didn’t even let me finish asking a question before they just hung up on me.
Very unprofessional and I’ve never had that encounter with a pharmacist before.
I don’t like Walgreens but at least they don’t hang up on people.
Never again will I contact cvs for any questions.
We’re changing stores due to the staff’s rude behavior. Refuse to acknowledge that you’re even standing in line waiting on them. Uninformed pharmacy staff.
