I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy in my entire life. I walked into the CVS Pharmacy on upper state street, and was told by the pharmacist that the pharmacy was closing and would be open at 1 o’clock. I thought they were joking, so I continued walking to the counter, and the pharmacist shouted at me from across the room 1 o’clock. I open my mouth to explain to him that I had a procedure coming up and needed my prescription as soon as possible and he shouted 1 o’clock continued shouting 1 o’clock, 1 o’clock. Finally, I interrupted him and asked if he would let me finish talking before he interrupted me and I explain my situation and he said 1 o’clock. I understand that places need to close for lunch breaks. But customer service especially when your pharmacy is very important. And this gentleman obviously has no clue what customer service is. I seriously doubt that I will ever visit this pharmacy again which is unfortunate since it is so close to my home.By Scott Robledo (4 months ago)NOT OPEN TIL MIDNIGHT! CVS need to correct their store info. I checked here, CVS website, CVS app, and even called to check hours. Every single one said this location at 2973 State St is open until midnight! I drive over at 11:15pm to get cold/flu meds and it was CLOSED. The hours posted on the door said they close at 10pm. I was so frustrated having driven 7 miles at 11pm only to find the store closed, especially when I have a sick person at home that I told I was getting them some relief. Of course every other drug store option was already closed so I ended up going to a local liquor store and paid a ridiculous amount for NyQuil. I would have done that for my partner regardless, but running around and going 7 miles out of the way based on false information was infuriating. This CVS location (Calle Real) I won’t shop at anymore. It’s too inconvenient as it’s the only drug store in the area that keeps even the advil locked so you have to wait for someone to unlock it, then they give to checker so you can’t use self check but have up wait in line just to get advil! I arrived at the store at 9:57 PM (I was in the parking lot by 9:55) and was informed that the store closes at 10:00 PM, but their doors were already locked and they refused to allow me to get one item. I needed Tylenol for a newborn infant. I feel that if the store purportedly closes at10 PM – the store should close it’s doors at 10 – not 9:55. I have been going to the 5 points CVS Pharmacy fir 5 years and I’ve had enough of the poor attitude and severe lack of service from this pharmacy. Moved my business elsewhere.
9 out if 10 visits I get attitude and treat like I’m an annoyance. Sorry, but if you don’t want to be somewhat cordial, don’t work in retail. This is the worst pharmacy I have been to. Switched my service to the other CVS down the street who know how to be human.
Less than helpful. Gave my insurance card and each time filled something noticed it was more than my walgreens (which is not close by me & changed over to cvs for convenience of location) I mentioned it each time I picked up a med and was told that’s what they got when putting it through to ins. Finally other day I asked what they were putting in for my insurance coverage
The answer was I have no part D noted!!!!!
Gave my insurance card again to them which the woman said she te not taking it and after more attempts told to contact my insurance). Which I wish someone at the start of business with them would have stated!!! I found the info for billing from my walgreens and called it into cvs since I am not mobile to get there at this moment and have another script to have picked up – woman stayed bring in the care I again stated I don’t have a card just the insurance card I have provided before and this number is not on it
She continues to say have the person who comes to get it bring the numbers. Again said I am not mobile and this person has to pick up and leave can’t spend as much time as we did last time this was tried to be clarified. She said we can’t take the info over the phone. So guess I pay full price like all the other meds I have had filled there over the pass month or so! I find their customer service decrepit – worse than poor! I understand how busy it can be before but the lack of attention to my issue falls on empty ears and they rather just brush it off and charge me full price and next to the next person or Phone call!!
Walgreens on the other hand supplied me with the pharmacy info to give to cvs happily. and was patient and not so rude Never have a problem there. But being out of town just not convenient t to where I am since I am immobilized and have to depend on others to pick things up
THIS EXPERIENCE GIVES ME REASON TO AVOID CVS – no matter where I may be!!! Santa Barbara needs a Walgreens!!!!
Just bought two different charge cables for my phone and they ended up being the wrong one. Return them the next day didn’t expect cash back from CVS but I expected credit. Manager came up and told me absolutely no way he can give me anything. CVS is garbage!! Overpriced garbage! By your stuff on Amazon!
Terrible, we were visiting from out of town on a business trip and I needed some items I had forgot to pack. Online is says they are open until 12am, we arrived at 9:52pm. 4min after entering the manager on duty came and told us “hey we are closed so I need you to go or go pay for your stuff.” Poor customer service, there was a more polite to approach someone or offer assistance to get us out the door, and please update your hours.
Wasted my time. My gas. And cost me $40 in lost wages. Change your effing hours to the right closing time. I even called. Both online and on the phone say midnight. Your door says “meh. Not my problem you believed us.” I’m so mad. Should be a simple thing to be on top of. Screw you for hurting my ability to pay rent and eat.
