5 Replies to The Best 7 Hour CVS Near Me in Phoenix AZ

  1. I’ve never had any issues with the pharmacy. They’ve always had my prescriptions ready and on time. Every time my doctor send in a prescription after my appointment, they fill it that same day. If I have to call to get my prescriptions Refilled, they’ve always answered the phone. I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for about 2 years now and they have always had my prescriptions ready on time, are always very pleasant and friendly.

  2. Wish I could give a -5. I was on hold for over 30 minutes after receiving a call immediately that my prescription would not be covered by insurance. Never spoke to a human, never had my call answered. Had my script changed to Walgreens and they had it filled (with zero insurance issue) in 10 minutes. DO NOT BOTHER with this CVS and don’t waste your time calling.

  3. Save your time and energy by not going to this pharmacy. I have had countless issues with them since the pandemic started, and it STILL isn’t getting better. If anything, it’s getting worse. I’ve called the pharmacy so many times, and NOBODY answers. I have stood in line at the pharmacy and I hear the phone ring and say “9 people are on the line”. They don’t answer the phone, 9 out of 10 times I go, I have to wait HOURS for a prescription that should have been ready when I got there. I was told that it would take an hour, so I go home and go back and they STILL haven’t started the medication. Honestly, 5 days to have a medication ready is more than enough time. They don’t know what they are doing, or they flat out don’t care. Period. I’m done with them. I’m going to frys pharmacy from now on, they actually send a text when the medication is ready. Unlike CVS, whom couldn’t give me a call, answer their phone, or have any communication of any kind.

  4. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Sure, I have to wait in line if they are busy at the drive thru or helping someone checkout or may need assistance with something. However, when it is my turn, I am always greeted with a smile and an apology for the wait (which is never more than a few minutes). I work with people all day at my job and understand the importance of being pleasant while dealing with customers who at times, feel as if they are the only people in the world. I have nothing but kind things to say about this location.

  5. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a pharmacy, and for several years now it’s just all bad at this location. They will not answer their phone and will close the drive thru without warning. Drive thru line can take 30-45 minutes for only 5-6 customers. I’m literally sitting in line right now for the past 20 minutes and 4 customers have been helped and the lady in front of me is being completely ignored. They have a total disregard for the importance and their responsibility of providing timely access to medication.

If you care about yourself/loved ones, don’t get prescriptions filled here.
Doctor wrote a prescription for vital medication at noon on Thursday. I showed up 6 hours later, it wasn’t ready. They said to come back the next day and it would be ready at open. I came in 3 hours after open. It’s closed. No information, no idea when they’ll be back. If you look at the reviews, this isn’t the first time. This isn’t the technicians – THIS IS A MANAGEMENT ERROR.

Don’t bother using this location as a UPS Access Point. I’ve routed packages here on several locations and I’m starting to think it would be less of a hassle to just let the packages get stolen from my front porch. Employees don’t know how to properly check packages in or out. My last experience was with a young lady (brown hair, curly bangs) who was insistent that my package wasn’t there despite receiving an email that it was. She refused to go through the packages at first and would only scroll through a hand-held device that showed package arrivals. I asked her to please check the packages on the ground and she said aloud “oh my God!” and called a manager to the front. Once the manager arrived, the young lady looked at the manager and said “I told her that her package isn’t here but she won’t listen”. The manager asked the young lady to look through the packages and she half-heartedly rifled through the pile stating, “I told you it’s not here”. The manager finally went to the packages and found it after a few seconds. I looked at the young lady and said “I knew it was here” to which she responded, “next time you need to give me your first name, not your last name”. Do yourself a favor and just have your packages sent to the UPS store on McDowell by Safeway. They do it right.

Great employees, terrible corporate policy. CVS is failing and closing many stores soon, and it’s long overdue. Although I like getting my prescriptions here, there’s been some issues. Number one. I take a medication in which numerous generics are available. One of these generics makes me physically ill, the dose seems to be inconsistent, and I just feel poisoned every time I take it. However, not only will CVS not tell me ahead of time if this one brand by Eli is in stock, if I am handed the bottle once it’s filled and look at it without even opening it, I am not allowed to return the medication. Which means I have to go one entire month on medicated under the law. so the first thing these pharmacies need to do is to not only mark down on the customers chart that they cannot take a certain generic but advise them that that particular generic is what’s available that month. It’s infuriating, all these pharmacies just say that they take whatever generic medication is cheapest at the time they order, and they just take whatever it is without regard to patient issues with the medication. And under the law that leaves you with no medication if you can’t take that generic, and you have to pay for it by the way too. So you’re healthcare provider won’t pay for another one that you can take, the law will not allow another one to be dispensed for a month, and you’re just screwed. So aside from that issue, CVS is understaffed and they’re using their cashiers as stock people. So they’re squeezing these employees who have to run from wherever they are stocking or doing other tasks to get to the counter to meet a customer, especially at night. And a lot of these people are elderly and of course they’re probably not allowed to sit down at all during the shift, and if they do they’re caught in security camera and fired. So I just think that CVS deserves to die. Good riddance to them, I have heard that they are losing hundreds of stores every year or two from now on and they deserve to go out of business because of corporate policy, the way they treat their employees, the fact that there never stopped uncommon items anymore, and they’re very bloated on their prices. A pair of tweezers I can get for two or three dollars at Walmart cost $12-$15 at CVS. I’m really sick of it.

Made an appmt. Couldnt get a flu shot because they dont take United Healthcare- my employer and I pay over $3K a year for coverage. CVS wants you to buy $5 gatorade and alcohol. Does nothing for public health. Quite ironic in a post pandemic environment.

Pharmacy closed earlier than CVS app or Google hours reflect. Could not pick up medications and wasted a trip.

Update 2 weeks later: spent 20+ min on hold & no one ever picked up phone at pharmacy during open hours

The service at this pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Couldn’t get through after almost 30 minutes. Was on hold nearly an hour. When I needed to change my insurance card the woman on the phone was so short and kept telling in the rudest way possible that I was wrong and wasn’t reading it correctly. Every time I pick up a prescription it feels like I’m an inconvenience. It’s terrible. The CVS itself is great but I happily transferred my prescriptions because this is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Give literally anyone else your business

Was on hold with the pharmacy for so long (45 minutes) to get a prescription filled that we drove to the actual location (while still on hold so add 20 more minutes) to find they didn’t have it in stock (despite their inventory showing it in stock). Apparently the pharmacy was short staffed and yet the pharmacy manager decided it was a good idea to go home early for the day. CVS has gotten worse and worse since the pandemic started and now they are completely inept and useless. Going to go back to Walgreen’s I guess and see if they’re a step up from this trainwreck of a place.

Terrible customer service. I have never been made to feel such a “nuisance” just for needing to get into the locked cabinet?? Came in for 2 items that I had to have assistance for and the store attendant was so rude huffing and puffing. Like someone else mentioned glaring looks at customers and fellow employees, bad vibes, bad body language, terrible tone of voice. I made it a point to look for a name tag before they stormed off, but they weren’t wearing one!! This person was female, buzzed hair, eyebrow and facial piercings. I will never be back to this location. Hey store manager, please emphasize to your employees the importance of taking a minute to yourself when you’re triggered or in a bad mood. The negative, violent energy coming off this person was shocking, and they might have no idea how apparent that was to everyone around them.

I just wanted to post this as thanks for the staff of the MinuteClinic especially the doctor who helped me, Ju Ry Lee. I went in for ear cleaning after having some hearing issues with one ear, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. After about 10-15 minutes waiting (I arrived early) I was assisted and the doctor let me know that not only was one ear affected by impacted wax but both! IT only took about 10 minutes of cleaning until it was done, and I was shocked at what came out, I’m now hearing the clearest I have in YEARS and the best thing was it was only $20 with insurance. Highly recommend getting your ears cleaned professionally here if you have trouble with buildup or hearing. This has literally changed my life, thanks so much to Ju Ry Lee, you’re awesome! 🙂

This complaint is for the CVS pharmacy. My husband called and was on hold for almost 2.5hrs never spoke to a single person. I called while he waited just in case the line ends for whatever reason. To which it did. And to my surprise I finally get a hold of someone and he tells me to call back after 2p because it’s lunch time now. When i issue my complaint he simply tells me “i don’t think that’s true because we look at the phones. Plus we always get a ton of calls.” this is truly unreal how a company this large can’t even find it in themselves to empathize with a caller before goin into defense mode. God forbid it was his family member going through the same process.
