  1. The female pharmacist with the Eastern European accent is extremely rude, both in person, and on the phone. I recently ran out of meds I need to take regularly because my mail order pharmacy didn’t ship them on time. The rep from my insurance tried to call in an “express coverage” prescription at this local pharmacy so I wouldn’t have to go days without it. This woman interrupted and hung up on her! And in person, she has interrupted even her colleagues, saying “SHE HAS TO WAAAAIT!”
Not all of the pharmacists at this location are this rude, but due to her unprofessional and nasty behavior, I will never fill a script here again! If you don’t like your job, don’t take it out on the customers. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!

  2. I was treated very poorly by a customer service representative when I went in to pick up my order. Her name is Fe. She was working at the front counter. She greeted everyone as they walked in, except for me. Picking favorites is just human nature but when clocked in working for a company I feel that employees should do their best to address everyone and treat everyone with respect.

I shrugged off the dismissive nature of this woman only to hope to pick up my order, I had to wait in line to ask a question about where to pick up my order and she was extremely rude

She was checking out another employee and spent over 5 minutes trying to help the other employee get all the discounts possible on her purchase. Meanwhile, I just stood there feeling out of place and it really made me uncomfortable. I won’t be back into the store for my pick up orders although it’s most convenient to my home location. On a larger scale the way I was treated makes me doubt that I’ll make any purchases from CVS in the future at all and I now think my Extra Care membership is worthless.

Oh, should I mention that after all of that I only had one of the 3 items that was ordered with no email or text message to let me know this would be the case. I mean, I took the time to select substitutions for my order when I was making my order although I feel that there should be some way that CVS could show the actual products that are in stock so I don’t waste so much time period I mean, how on the head am I supposed to wash clothes with only dryer sheets and n9 detergent?!

This makes for such a great day off running around trying to buy laundry detergent. YAY.

All of that time and embarrassment just to pick up part of my order. CVS just might not be able to adapt to serve the future economy.

    Sad.

  3. I’ve always heard this CVS did a horrible job with their prescriptions, but I didn’t have the displeasure of experiencing it first hand until today. I had a meeting this morning January 17, with my doctor about refilling a medication I was on and getting a new one. The prescription was called in at 10:15AM, and I went to pick it up at 6:30 PM. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I went to get my prescription to only receive one of my medications. When I inquired where my another medication was, I was told by the cashier this was because I didn’t pick up my prescription within 14 days. He said they had to throwaway my medication, even though it was placed that morning and I had a confirmation from my doctors office both those scripts were filled today. Additionally, I was taken aback because I’ve been out of town since Mid-December. I told him this couldn’t be possible and he told me to go back tomorrow. I told them that was not a possibility and that I went to the pharmacy because I only had time today: Despite explaining that I didn’t get the day wrong and they throwaway my medication that was filled that day, none of the staff would acknowledge it was not my mistake and was extremely condescending. I noticed the same employee complaining to the pharmacist that I was wrong, and I told them I would show them the notification. Both of them dismissed me, and would not acknowledge any wrong doing on their part. I waited for another 30 minutes, ending up late for plans. When I told the pharmacist this was unacceptable as my scripts were filled that morning and I was accused of being untruthful about my medication, all he said was, “I’m filling it now.” Not surprising this place sucks after my friend had to get all her male relatives to call in order to get any info about her prescriptions. If you’re a woman and don’t want to be condescended to by male employees who accuse you of being irrational for wanting the medication you paid for, I’d recommend going else where.

  4. This pharmacy is the worst! All they needed to do with my order was refill an existing prescription. That’s all! And yet they can never do just that. I’ve submitted my prescriptions for refill so many times over the phone and through their automatic voice message and every time I show up they never have it ready. They look at me surprised and ask “do you want me to refill it?” Duh! It’s like they don’t even acknowledge new refill orders coming through and only bother to refill when you show up. And then you have to wait 20mins to an hour for them to refill it! THE ENTIRE POINT OF ORDERING OVER THE PHONE IS SO THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO WAIT WHEN YOU SHOW UP. Don’t bother with this pharmacy. Please don’t bother.

  5. This store is that rare and awful combination of being dirty, understocked, understaffed, and having the few employees that do work there be either totally checked-out or simply not know how to do their job. Avoid if at all possible.

I’ve been going to this CVS Pharmacy for a few years now and Linda the pharmacy manager is great! Linda and the rest of the pharmacy staff are friendly, fast, and efficient. My prescriptions get filled on time and most refill automatically. The store staff is also very friendly and helpful.

    Alright , I know ” why only 4 ?” Let me explain –
I had come into the store back early July ; I had approx $17 in coupons / extra bucks with me, & products in my cart based on the coupons .
While finishing up my purchases, there was some form of a glitch in the registers , and the manager was called .
The mgr stated there was a ” reboot” that should have been, yet was not done , so she closed the store a bit early . I was frustrated , they were frustrated , I was happy to just get my products & leave .
When I returned home I was confused as to how I ended up paying $32 for items I should have paid around $18 . I looked at my receipt & it was one line MISC and it was the $32 ? I immediately put all the product on counter & took a pic . No matter how you slice it , I was charged $15 too much . I had left two messages for management to call me back & I never received a call , I gave up & cut my losses
Last night, my card was STILL showing two accts ? Kevin came over to assist , he was there that night so I asked him about it. As I was unarmed with my receipt & had only a pic it was difficult . Here’s is where Kevin shines like a boss – he knows how often myself & my kids shop there, practically daily ; so he gave me an extra buck for $10 . I promised to bring the receipt back in to show him .
In a time whereas we are all feeling like our patronage at establishments is more of a bother to the staff , this service is why I continue to shop here . Kevin handled this like A TRUE professional keeping the ” valued ” customer as his muse
Now for the one less star reasons – the security guard , I get also these days you need to be on your toes & i for one am sick of witnessing the theft everywhere; however it can be done less intrusively.
As I walked in to get ONlY for meds for my daughter , me being me , saw some other items i ” needed ” I grabbed hair product, I had this feeling I was being watched , as I turn to continue towards cold med ; I see the security guard standing there . Ya , my feeling was correct ! Not only was she watching me , she looked my up and down with a ” I’m watching you ” look,. Although it was creepy , I continued to cold meds & chalked it up to ” perhaps she’s just being extra diligent ”
At the counter while sorting this out , patrons entered the store; and she followed them to the back . As I am waiting for Kevin to do his thing , she approached the counter and tersely said ” are you about done here, I need you ” I looked over my shoulder as it was too rude while a cust is conducting business . She proceeds to tell him to hurry up bc this is bad ! . I offered to wait , she then said ” No I need him to finish and you to be done as you are the distraction so they can pull this off & we might need to call APD” ” my response as she was looking at the mirrors ” if its that bad , perhaps you should call them ! It was UNBELIEVABLY ” insulting as this woman was , IMO, accusing me of being a part of this theft situation ! Like I knew these thugs and created confusion as a distraction for them . I get in the car & my husband asked what took so long ; I sat there silently for a minute to process all that has taken place & said ” I want to do ale a shower , I feel gross after that encounter .
I get it , the theft due to lack of prosecution is alarming , however you can still be on your toes without following customers around , and looking them up & down like we are thieves and she’s not having it today . Now she was a black woman , I am a white woman , IMAGINE … IMAGINE if the tides were turned ! To me it was a violation to my soul .
I love this store , however when I walk in if she is there , I WILL approach her , & remind her that one shouldn’t Profile red headed white woman & how horrible she made me feel .

I shop at this location often or should I say used to shop at as of today. nnYour cashier SHA is rude and unprofessional. I asked her where I can find the Vicks rub and she rudely just looked at me with a blank face. I repeated myself several times for her to ask me “what is that ?” Are you serious?? You work at a CVS !!! nAnyway after that I press the button TWICE on isle 16 for customer service and waited 5 mins for NOBODY to help me .. very poor customer service and knowledge of simple items you carry.

First I have been a client for 40 years. The Long’s management and were excellent.
Now the CVS staff is indifferent, impatient and unhappy.

Today the pharmacy did not want to answer a product question. And upon check Lut became angry and mean spirited because I could not understand her English Pronunciation. This a common attitude problem in customer service.

Please hire people with a service first attitude, who want to be there. My solution is to get delivery and avoid the staffing challenge at CVS

you can not improve this service . we are so grateful to Ryan for bringing the store back from where it had fallen to . and to Lena Sandy and Zachary in the pharmacy . we dont know what we would do without them !! although its pretty crowded now that the broadway store has closed and they have all the new customers , Ryan is making sure that the store is clean and stocked and that customers are greeted as they enter . perfect store .

If I could give this CVS pharmacy zero stars, I would. Absolutely incompetent staff and horrible customer service. I had the same recurring issue with a prescription refill for months with this pharmacy, and was given incorrect information at every turn. You can never get through on the phone line, as well. Stay away!

This store is very poorly designed/stocked. The piedmont grocery store a block away has had everything I’ve been looking for when this CVS doesn’t even though piedmont grocery is a smaller store in terms of surface area. I was looking for bleach and caprisun.

I will never use the pharmacy at this location. I had a cart with $100+ of medical supplies. There was no line at the RX counter. Yet, when I went to the RX counter they refused to ring up the items. Instead telling me to go to the regular counter where there was a line. That was ridiculous and lacked customer service.

    The other employees were cordial.
