  1. Pharmacy gotten so bad with the new employees. I had a black guy and twice he did not bother to tell me how to use the medication despite that I had to confirm that there is important information to be shared and any other questions he behaved like he can’t be bothered. Have been coming here for 9 years and this is the worst!

  2. Went there one day to inquire about a flu shot for retired veterans through the VA and the Asian guy with glasses was extremely helpful, in addition to one youngish black guy, who initially helped me. He took the time to look into my profiles and combine them into one, and look into my insurance plans which had changed in the last few years. While he was doing that, he was super-friendly, easy to deal with, totally approachable, helpful and had superior customer service, not seen at a CVS (in my experience, at least), for a long time. Though I received bad news that the flu shot was not covered by the VA there, I had gotten a sense of hope that maybe with this location, there may be other CVS’s out there that have good customer service. This one had far exceeded my expectations for customer service and would highly, highly recommend.

  3. I wish I could give 0 star. I called the store and asked if they had children’s fever reducer. I got a positive answer. I made a big trip from the upper west side to the CVS at 5 Penn Plasa and found out they don’t have it. Hire the professionals who knows what you have and don’t have in the store.

  4. I love customer service when a store goes above and beyond for the customers. Thank you CVS for have such a great team.

  5. Pharmacy is extremely rude and condescending. Black pharmacist needs a lot of training as he is racist towards women and makes inappropriate comments.

More than just a pharmacy, this is. There are many other interesting goods available. Especially dietary supplements and various cosmetics. Some of them are discounted to half prices by buy1 get 1 free and many member benefits(registration to be a member available at counter for free). The staff is lovely and extremely helpful, and the location is excellent.

Pharmacy lines are out of control. Picking up a prescription can take 3 hours. Even if you pre pay to pick up you still have to wait in a very slow line. Very crowded with a lot of people waiting I expect to get sick after being here 2 days in a row. Will never come back.

I asked a representative where would I find toothpaste. She said that the toothpaste was behind on the aisle. When I came to the aisle, there was nobody there. I rang the bell that you have there. O proceeded to rang the bell that was there, since I could not get to the toothpastes. The same representative came in and told was rude and confrontational about me ringing the bell. She was threatening and a manager had to intervine. However, it didn’t end there. When I went to pay, there was a coupon for $8.49. The same lady refused to ran her card. I ended up paying at another register for the tooth pastes and it appeared as if I used the coupon.

If you’re looking for a CVS with long wait times and lackluster service, then this is the place for you. If not, you should go to another location.

Even getting some detergent requires finding someone to unlock the cabinet to get to them as if they were $1000 bottles of the finest wines.

The pharmacy at this location is such a headache. Their staff has so much attitude for people who are incompetent. Every single prescription that was sent there has issues. They can never pull up my profile, the girl there created 4 different profiles for me, which created a lot of problems later when I picked my meds. When they did find me, they were not able to apply my insurance. Instead of hearing me when I told them it was not accurate, they yelled at me saying that my insurance wasn’t paying for my meds, as if they knew better. I’ve been taking the same meds for 10 years and it’s always been covered, my insurance didn’t change either. Instead of looking into the issue they just disregarded it. I called another CVS down the street and got my meds in 5 minutes, covered by my insurance and without any problem. They should really look into who they hire, these meds are vital for my condition and they turned me away without even looking into anything.

I had a very bad set of encounters/ experiences with this CVS. I had a prescription that was sent from a Brooklyn hospital on my behalf . I called several times and was told it had not been sent. I was spoken to in a very rude manner. I came in person and Mike said I see that it’s here in the computer. He prepared the script for me and I went to check out. I was told that there was a $5 co-pay. I said to the clerk wow I didn’t realize. I had zero cash or credit on me & asked if it could be taken care of electronically by a family member. He said “No” In a rude manner and said I’d need to take it up with my insurance company. I phoned my insurance and they said only the pharmacy could possibly waive the C0-Pay. I spent 20 minutes on hold waiting for the pharmacy to pick up as I’d stepped outside to make the call. After 20 minutes I went in and
Spoke with Mike. He very rudely / sarcastically said we couldn’t waive any fee and that’s on you. I was very shocked at rude and dismissive he was. Let me explain, I’m in tremendous pain from a fall. I made it here from Brooklyn. I use this as my regular pharmacy as it’s by my primary hospital. I only needed to be told sorry , it’s policy and not much can be done around this. I didn’t need the nasty attitude or negativity. It’s NY I don’t really expect anything for free or anyone to be nice but this is a drug store and I did hope for alittle more empathy and professionalism. Highly offended and disheartened along with being in serious pain! Horrible store!! I’ve ignored most of my experiences there in the past due to the proximity of the store to my hospital but this time I had to write a review.

This branch of CVS has a service team that I found particularly helpful. More importantly, the manager (Don) knows where everything is located in the store; when an item it out of stock, he knows when to expect its replacement. He is courteous, professional and goes above and beyond to see that your experience meets the CVS expected standard, ergo I recommend this store.

The 5:30pm 11/7/2022 two black female have the worst attitude. Sucking their teeth constantly cause their system can’t recognize their own coupons; or maybe it’s not the system but their own incompetent. I never have problems when the manager or the Bangladesh staffs are around. These 2; I never seen before and they are horrible. I am going to tell my coworkers and relatives nearby to avoid this location. OMG they didn’t even give me my receipt. Bet there’s a survey code I could had done too.

No returns at night? I purchased a cream around 10 pm, when I got home I realized it had been opened so I ran back to the store immediately. 10:10 pm and the counter lady told me their manager said no returns at night? There were no signs or anything letting people know about it. She was so rude with me and the costumer before too. This cvs is the worst; save time, money and energy and go to Walgreens across.

Went here to grab some snacks after school, during checkout this woman named Devica came to me and helped me (of course), nothing wrong with that but literally stayed and kept asking me to rate her out of 10, not once but numerous times, on the CVS survey website. Theres also sketchy employees who didn’t respond to me when I needed help. This made me extremely uncomfortable, I wouldn’t recommend coming here to buy snacks or pharmaceutical purposes.
