They never have staff so it’s not a convenience to stop when you’re in a rush to buy something that is under lock & key.
I also just had my COVID test cancelled because their system is down. He told me to make an appointment for next week or at another CVS. I’m traveling internationally on Tuesday. Today is Sunday & tomorrow is Memorial Day. Not sure if I’ll have it back in time as it takes a few business days to get results. How incredibly inconvenient & unreliable. 1st of all I have to agree with the reviews, “The Worst Pharmacy”/ I wanted to share my very bad experiences (multiple) with this pharmacy then I saw that it had 2.1 stars and thought to myself, someone was very generous. I would give this pharmacy a negative star if it was possible. Half of the time they don’t have the medication we need to treat simple infections like strep, flu, covid, etc. But today topped them all. The incompetent employee tells me she was going to forward my prescription to another pharmacy that showed in system to have it. I ask the lady to confirm that they had it and her response was you could to confirm yourself. So as I’m driving towards that pharmacy on north 23rd I called and the lady that answered told that they didn’t have that medication either. She was more friendly than the one in Edinburg, so she called other pharmacies finally found one that have the med. I show up to the third pharmacy and the pharmacist tells me that he didn’t have the prescription. So he had to call the other pharmacies to send him the prescription and finally was able to get it. I never had this issue with Walgreens which I used for many years. I have not had one good experience with CVS and the bad part is that Walgreens does not take my current insurance but will be on the look for a better option.By alejandro longoria (a month ago)This by far the worst pharmacy. The pharmacist denied to fill my prescription for HRT giving me the excuse that the DEA number wasn’t on there when clearly it was printed on the bottom of the prescription. Tomorrow never came so I sent my prescription to Walgreens and had the prescription the very next day and they were very friendly compared to cvs pharmacy. For this location, one has to wait a day or more. They have given me a date and time for pickup but then when I’ve gone it’s never ready!! They are so terrible are they’re job. When asking questions they never give you a straight answer. They go off on a different topic to avoid your question. He explained that the strips were missing…..my father is 86 so I would think they would be a little more understanding & patient. Instead the so call manager didn’t want to deal with the issue & asked him to leave…very unprofessional & people with no compassion…very sad
Just called to request a cancellation of my father’s prescription due to the rudeness of the manager John….an instead of letting me complete my reasoning for cancellation he decides to interrupt me….talk over me. The CVS store at 2314 E Expressway 83, Mission, TX 78572 is not maintaining the exterior grounds of the property properly. There are shopping carts left for days in the parking lot and with trash left for months at a time. The grass (weeds) fronting Shary Road and Expressway 83 is mowed once every two months and the trash is never picked up. Its just a sad state
I’m a nurse practitioner who called in a voicemail prescription to this location for a patient at around 1pm and at 8pm the script was still not ready. My patient was told multiple times that there was no script sent. I called personally and spoke to the pharmacist Fabius Tsafack who states he was not going to fill the medication unless it was sent through e-scribe and which point I mentioned our EMR was down and I have been calling in medication to the voicemail without issues for many years. He stated a waiver was needed and which point I asked for clarification and he got very upset and states “moving on” and hung up on me. I called back over 10 times and the staff answered my call and hung up without answering. This type of behavior should not be tolerated and I am very disappointment that a professional would treat me or anyone for that matter in this way.
Many prescriptions are sent through voicemail by Doctors and these people don’t ever have those ready. Took almost 10 hrs to have script ready. This is aside from the fact that they close the entire pharmacy from 1:30-2:00 pm everyday! lol.. what other pharmacy does this? Ever heard of staggering your employees lunch? Or is there only one person working? The first and last time I ask for a script to be sent here. Worst experience ever.
Went to the store to find medicine for a sty on my eye. If you don’t know what a sty is, it’s a very ugly and uncomfortable bump that forms from heat, dirt, NOT TAKING OUT YOUR CONTACTS (I’m my case). The pharmacist noticed me going through the many different medicines they had and asked if I needed helped. I explained the situation and he gave me a rundown on what each medicine was for and what they are used for. After looking at my eye, he noticed I was in the final stages of the infection and recommended a remedy to finish it off. I’m truly appreciative for his help because honestly I was about to buy everything lol. And not only would that of been overpaying for things I didn’t need, but he explained how mixing some of the medicines could make matters worse. So once thank you to the pharmacist at this CVS. He helped out a lot
I waited behind some car at the drive thru for 30 minutes and when it was my turn it took no longer then 3 minutes to get my medicine. Why hold up the drive thru when you can tell them to come back later or circle around while the medicine is ready. Some people need to take the medicine as soon as possible and you delay that when it’s a simple fix.
