I have been going to CVS for the last 10 years and have had no problems with them. Sure the prices go up like everyone’s does that’s expected with the economy the way it is. There are a few ladies that work in the pharmacy that are super sweet and I knew their names I’d give them a shoutout. Because of the error, the drops that were supposed to come in 12 hours never came in and we were left scrambling to try to find another pharmacy open that had the medication. They weren’t even apologetic. Pretty sad.By Robert Bonser (11 months ago)My cat was sick. Monday, I dropped off a prescription for two items. I came back to pick it up and only one was present. They told me they misread the prescription. So, I know it goes through at least two sets of eyes before filled… and you both misread it? It wasn’t written cryptically. She asked me to come inside while they filled the second part. I waited in line for a long time and they couldn’t get it right at that time. I had to go home and check on her because she was sick. I came back later to get the second prescription and drop off a new RX. They had an issue with the new prescription, too. It wasn’t difficult, but as it wasn’t an emergency for that particular med, I let them talk to the vet.
Tuesday, I had all the prescriptions written that day sent to Chewy.com, including the prescription they questioned.
Wednesday, she crashed.
Thursday, my meds arrived from Chewy and CVS automated system began to call me regarding her prescription now being ready. I have had calls multiple times a day the next several days. Thursday, she died.
Friday, I contacted Chewy to see about possible returns since I never opened the box. Chewy was incredibly awesome with their customer service.Then I called CVS and told them I needed to cancel that prescription that was waiting, and note that she had died, and please stop the automated calls that started with her name. There was no kindness in the person’s response, not even an “I’m sorry to hear that” which takes 2 seconds to say. She said she would take care of it.
There were no automated calls on Saturday. I thought the ordeal was over with CVS.Today, Mother’s Day Sunday, I’m still having a hard time with her death (she was young but sick). On Mother’s Day morning, the automated system called her to say that she had a prescription ready for pickup.
I use the Target pharmacy because I liked them before they were taken over by CVS, but I’m pretty sure I will change all future prescriptions elsewhere.

Earlier in the week I went to pick up my prescription and one was sent to the wrong pharmacy. They told me I couldn’t get it until the next day making me skip 2 doses. Then the pharmacist couldn’t tell me how to take the medication. Several years ago pharmacist refused to help get my husband his pain medication after back surgery. I sat out in the parking lot and made the phone calls with my baby in the backseat because she refused to do her job. The pharmacists that worked during the week of 7/13/21- 7/23/21 are the rudest and most unprofessional “pharmacists” I have ever encountered. I just moved from Ky to be closer to my family, after my retirement. I asked them to have all my medications transferred to their place, after I had conferred with my pharmacy back home. I called back on 7/14, they had not talked to my hometown pharmacy as of yet! I went back on the 17th, they said they hadn’t received all the info they needed. So I proceeded to call back home so she could speak to the pharmacists and she told him she would call him back and tell him what she needed! I was irate. I finally got all needed meds on 7/23. I called, they said they were READY(they were suppose to call me). I arrived and still waited 45 minutes even though there was no one waiting. The manager was standing behind a computer popping “bon bons”in her mouth, very unprofessional. Transferring all my business to Walgreens!
Pharmacy staff are the rudest people I have ever met at this location. If you don’t like what you do, find another job. You’re dealing with medicine and healthcare . This is a field for people with great customer service!
The regular merchandise is on the expensive side, but that’s true of any pharmacy. The pharmacists are very helpful, and they always ask me if I need info when I get a new prescription filled. I always get a text when my prescriptions are ready. I won’t mention the CVS receipts that are way, way, way too long.
I specifically chose this location for the convenience of closer to home. My prescriptions were being filled at Walgreens originally by where I worked. I went in this afternoon to pick up my heart medication and the pharmacy was closed because of staffing issues. I want to know where the store manager was!?!? He or she couldn’t at least be behind the counter handing out the prescriptions to people like me that needed their meds???? Either shut down this location or spend the money on reliable paychecks.
Garbage staff. Told them i needed to refill an inhaler and was told to come in to see some one. Then when i did that told me they don’t do walk ins anymore. And i had to make an appointment. Its been several days and several athsma attacks later and im still without an inhaler because of the dumber than a rock staff and policies of this stupid place.
