  1. My husband had his home nurse come to see him, he has a heart condition where his heart is at 20%. She sent 2 scripts, he got a text saying they were ready 2 hours later. He went to pick them up, the lady with the glasses laughed and said, yea, these will take hours to fill & maybe we can have them done by 9.. when we close.. I said, by he got a text saying they were ready. She says, well, they need to be approved & rolled her eyes, shut the door and walked away. Absolutely horrible woman! There was no need to act like that.

  2. CVS GUMWOOD Granger IN- was sent a text stating all scrips were ready. Waited 1.5 hrs behind 6 vehicles, get to the window, was told none were ready, and they are filling as needed. Moving all business to anywhere else!!!

  3. if i could give less i would. pharmacist is always rude as if he isn’t paid to make sure patients get what they need. very ill informed on issues for said patients with their medications. and never fills my scripts without a hassle that lasts maybe weeks at the keast

  4. Would give zero stars if I could. My partner was trying to pick up his medication but they kept refusing to give him the correct medication, despite insurance double checking and even confirming that he was approved for the prescription they were refusing. Not to mention they were consistently misgendering him, despite his legal name being a masculine name. We tried to get it sorted out over the phone, with insurance on the line as well, and the technician hung up the phone. The insurance company was absolutely baffled by their ignorance and how rude they were to someone just trying to get their medication.

  5. Can we got to pick up prescriptions there it takes forever they call you on your phone tell you they’re ready and then you get there and you’re not ready it’s terrible drugstore

Pharmacy refuses to take coupons that their prescription insurance partner, CVS Caremark, told us to use at their own pharmacy. Or maybe just an employee who doesn’t want a little extra paperwork. Either way -AVOID IF YOU CAN AT ALL COSTS!!!

I booked an appointment online for the Minute Clinic for a sports physical. When you book your appointment you are asked to arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment. We did as asked and then proceeded to sit for over an hour. Finally got in about an hour and 15 minutes after our appointment time. Once we were seen the nurse was looking over our paperwork and my child had a wrist injury last year. I was then told that I needed all the paperwork regarding that injury. No where on the IHSAA paperwork does it state that is needed in order to complete a sports physical. It also does not state this anywhere on the CVS website. I would not have been so upset if I had not had to wait for over an hour for our appointment to only be told we can’t get a sports physical.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever used in my life! If I could give them a -5 I would!!! Closed on the weekend, even though your hours do not say you are closed on your website or phone. Mind you, they sent me the reminder on Saturday morning that her medication was ready. I called over a week ago and asked for them to reverse a RX for my daughter (***she can’t be without this medication***) and it was supposed to be transferred. I was on hold over an hour on Saturday, just to have my husband call on his cellphone and speak with the manager to tell us that the pharmacy was closed!!!! The most unprofessional and irresponsible pharmacy I have ever used. The liability that they placed on my daughter not having her medication transfered in beyond a timely manner is absurd. I will be reporting you the the Attorney General’s Office and the BBB. I know how the process works, I work in the medical field. Never have I been treated this poorly EVER!!

This place is definitely a joke. You would think that being a pharmacy and dealing with peoples life they would have a backup plan when the pharmacist is out. They said the pharmacist wasn’t feeling good so they pharmacy is closed. When you depend on the medication you are completely at a loss. The only thing I can do is:
1 – wait for the pharmacy to open
2 – go back to the doctor in South Bend for another prescription at a different pharmacy. The doctor will call this in to a different pharmacy but, not until Monday. That’s when the person that does their prescription transfers.
In the meantime I’m completely out of my pain medicine so I’ll be in bed until who knows when.

I would rate the service 0 stars. No one answers the phone and acts like they have no clue as to what is going on. Tried to tell me anything to get me off the phone. I understand being short staffed but to have me on hold for 1 hour and 10 minutes and then 30 and another 45 is ridiculous. Only was able to get through after pushing the prescriber button. Called another store and was helped. It’s a shame when you ask about your “regular” location and they tell you, “they never answer.” It’s an unbelievable. Just pick up and ask me to wait or something. These medications are life and death. Make it make sense.

I’ve been going here years and normally have no issues with getting my refills, but my boyfriend just had surgery and he’s spent well over an hour and a half on hold for a prescription status for pain and antibiotics before giving up.

My dad is picking it up due to my boyfriend not being allowed to drive from being under anesthetics and he’s extremely uncomfortable from the pain. Another location told us that Bristol street still has it under processing, and our best bet is to have him tell them in person that we need it expedited. I took a shot and tried to call ahead to spare my dad from the wait and have now *so far* been on wait another half an hour.

I 100% understand being stupid busy, I’m constantly drowning work at my job as well, but a combined 2+ hours on hold between us just trying to get an update is extremely frustrating. (And yes we tried getting an update via the auto command when you call and the system didn’t find his birthday which is also concerning)

    **UPDATE**
I hung up and called the store manager directly and was informed that they had 3 call offs and a person quit so it was only the pharmacist running the whole show and that I could transfer my script to another location for my convenience and was super apologetic.
I appreciated at least having an explanation, so I changed my review to 3 stars.

The one on Johnson and Bristol street Is the worst drugstore I’ve ever been to in my life. The pharmacists are rude And you always have to stand in line. And you’re lucky if they have your medicine in stock

Good lord, where do I begin with CVS Pharmacy? There’s so much wrong here and you take the time to bring issues to their attention; they don’t care. Period. That’s my conclusion of the pharmacy personnel and how they operate. I’ve dealt with them for many years in Indiana and other states I’ve lived in and nothing ever changes. The last straw was about 2 weeks ago, I needed to order some refills. Of course the refills were not on their app that is supposed to be accurate, but never is. So I called the pharmacy and was immediately put on hold; nothing unusual about that. But I was hold for 30 minutes and they never answered. Tried to call the next day and put on hold again… 45 minutes and no one answered. The third day I was put on hold again for 20 minutes and no one ever picked up. I called back and asked for the front of the store and I spoke with the assistant manager. He confirmed that for the past 3 days, the pharmacy had not been answering their phone because they were “too busy”. A pharmacy is an essential business; you can’t just not answer your phones for 3 days straight! Someone should lose their job over that stunt. I was in medicine for 25+ years. If I had treated patients like CVS pharmacy treats it’s customers I would have been fired. They also get too busy and shut down their drive thru window. So you have to come inside and stand in line for 20-30 minutes to pick up your prescriptions. Here’s an idea: If you’re short of staff, HIRE SOME PEOPLE, pay them whatever you need to get your reputation back. Because you are the worse retail pharmacy ever. My insurance company uses CVS as a “preferred provider”. My wife and I got fed up and switched our prescriptions to Walgreens. Yes, we pay more because it’s not a preferred pharmacy, but to not have to deal with the games CVS pharmacy plays is worth the extra cost we pay. I let CVS Health know and I let our health insurance company know what the pharmacy was doing. They didn’t care… never returned my calls, just don’t care about your satisfaction. Fine with me, I am done with this joke of business.

The last 5 times I’ve went to CVS at this location 4 times at 9pm and once around 9 a.m. I waited atleast 5 minutes for a cashier. I actually had to hunt someone down 2 times to check out. And then the woman acted annoyed that she had to help me. I don’t know if it’s a employee shortage or if the lady needs a job not working with the public! I’ll take my business to Walgreens from now on!
