Annoyed with the pharmacy because I went to refill my prescription that said it was already ready and the guy said that I had to pay for it. I’ve been on it for months and it was always free with my insurance. He didn’t ask for my insurance cards or anything because I have more than one insurance, just said to call them so I sat in my car hot and tired on hold, went inside to get a drink and went back to sit down in my car until they finally answered and said that it was covered. Then I drive back to the drive through and expect to just give him my insurance cards and explain that they should be covered. He tells me to come inside because now there’s a line behind me… how is that my fault? I’m 7 months pregnant so having to walk back and forth is super annoying. I tried to get him to explain why I needed to go in when I’ve never had to go in but because people were behind me I had to inconvenience myself because my refill would take a couple minutes…. Ya’ll texted me that it was ready. Terrible experience. I’ve waited in that drive through for 20+ minutes before but this guy couldn’t take 5 minutes to get my prescription. I’ve never been that annoyed trying to get my prescription. People should be considerate. One of the managers by they name of Tashara was not only being extremely rude, but had a bad attitude from the time I walked in. Got my things and went straight to self checkout. I was ringing my items up and made a mistake on one gift card and Tashara aggressively said “ I’ll help you at the front register.” And cancels my purchases. She proceeded to check me out and and explained to her how much I needed for each gift card. She puts the wrong amount and I told her no that’s not right and her response was “that’s why I asked you in the beginning how much” and I was in shock of her response and told her she was being so rude and ignored me. I am never one to complain EVER but man this lady was terrible. I will definitely be contacting corporate to let them know who/what kind of people they’re hiring for this store. Especially if they’re managers. I come here very often and never once had a problem until today. Tashara should NOT have a title as a manager if she has that type of attitude. Horrible customer service. I was on hold 10 minutes before speaking to a human. Finally- someone picked up phone – said prescription would be ready in an hour-despite Dr calling it in the night before. Go to pick up in the drive-through at the promised time & was told it would be another hour wait unless I came into store to “expedite “ it. I had to get kids out of car – go inside & there was no one else in the store.
They push prescriptions ahead of others and wants sick people to wait inside.? Went through the drive thru to drop off my daughters antibiotic prescription for strep throat. Lady said pick up in 3 hrs or come inside and it’ll be ready in 20 min. I asked if we can wait in the car because my daughter is sick and the lady said no, you have to be in the chairs. Besides the fact that my daughter is too sick to go in, we don’t want to spread germs. But I don’t think they seem to care about keeping the place germ free.
Updated my review: on 12/20/22 Always takes for ever at this location. Always rude. And Randi next time you can say something when u send over my prescription through the outside drive thru line. No bye thank you or anything. Learn some basic manners. My 2 yr old even know that.
Worst/rudest
pharmacists I’ve ever dealt with. Alice and Melalilia(sp?) need a course on how to treat chronically ill (cancer) patients. I actually made a formal complaint with the pharmacy board. Cancer is a disability and therefore can be discriminated against. Treating me as if I were a leper is probably against some code of conduct that pharmacists have.
I highly recommend choosing a different pharmacy if at all possible.
I left the nearest minor emergency at 3 am and even TLC said that this CVS will be open go get your medicines. I walked in and the lady was freaking rude. She was like yes we are closing in 45 seconds all computers shut off sorry can’t get your medicines. Oh wait sorry they are locked now try tomorrow. The lady in front said they were open and I had plenty of time. Mind you I’m in severe pain with an infection. I needed those medicines. I had called at 1am and was told they would be open for me to fill meds. The lady was like yea sorry can’t help you bye. I will never ever go there again. This is why I always go to HEB! HEB has great service and care. Now I have to suffer in pain for goodness knows how long. I am furious!!!! Poor pharmacy staff!!! I will be writing to corporate.
