There is a pharmacy tech in CVS by the name of Chris. She is a wonderful person. She is loving. She is friendly. She is helpful. She is all the above. I love this location because Chris is there and I know that I’m going to be served well with Chris being in the building. Merry Christmas everyone! Going into shop at this particular CVS helps me get through the day to day problems we face in the community. We as people tend to forget about the good times we share and it’s easy to get caught up with someone else’s drama. I really want to check out CVS’s new mental health service! Could do us all a little good to talk to a professional during the holidays… especially when we feel alone and there isn’t anyone to reach out to.

I will definitely choose a different location next time. But given that this experience has been worst of any I’ve had I’ll most likely take my business elsewhere. CVS….more training is definitely needed for the employees at this location. It’s really a shame.By The Dreamer (3 months ago)This is the worst CVS I’ve ever been to. If you have a monthly prescription, please go ANYWHERE else.Every month there is some kind of complication when I go to pick up my refill. Initially I would use the voice automated refill through the phone that would say my refill would be ready in 2 hours. I’d always wait a couple extra hours, even a day at times, and I’d go through the drive thru to learn that there was some complication – meds were on back order, doctor forgot to send the refill so I’d have to contact them, etc. etc. I’d get no notice from the pharmacy that it couldn’t be filled, just empty promises from an outdated automated system.
Once I started asking to speak to a pharmacist, I got the same lack of customer service. They’ll say they’ll have it ready by a certain time, but they won’t. I had to go through the drive thru 3 times today AFTER speaking with a pharmacist.
On top of the poor communication, lack of supplies, and unorganized operating system, they’re slow. The drive thru is always backed up and takes at least 20 minutes. I’ve waited 45 at times. Going inside isn’t any better.
The pharmacists always seem overworked, stressed, bad attitude, or like they were just chewed out (probably very likely considering the experience I’ve had). I’ve also sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes watching people stand around before I was greeted.
I’m switching pharmacies asap. This was ridiculous.
By Courtney Moriarty (a month ago)I received my 2nd dose of a three dose vaccine here in July 2022. When I went back to get the third dose, they had no record of me being there for the 2nd dose. I suggested that not updating records is a big deal, and that there should be logs showing that the vaccine was used. They agreed and stated they would look into it and call me back. This review is now 1 week later and I have heard nothing back. Staff is rude – slow – attitudes – and what’s the point of having a separate lane for drop off only if it’s not working. Sat in the spot for 10 mins pushing call button the send button – nothing – no help either. Dude watched me at the window and said nothing – like hey ma’am that lane isn’t open or I’m to dumb to tell you. I seriously HATE cvs and always have. When Walgreens stopped taking my insurance I was livid because I never wanted to deal with cvs – every location especially the 161 location SUCKS. I would literally rather go without my medication than deal with this pharmacy. Your told over the phone when your prescription will be ready. You come a day later and it’s still not ready. Customers do not want to have to keep waiting and waiting for their prescription to get filled. Have it ready when your told it will be ready. Your guys pharmacy is pathetic. Ive waited on the phone 2 different times for 15 min. Does the phone make sound? Either get 2 people staffed atleast or get better workers who has better customer service experience. Ive done public jobs too. Tonight I went there at 8:40pm when the store hours say they close at 9pm. They had locked the doors and, who I assume is their security guy, was extremely rude to me at the door saying they don’t close at 9, they go home at 9. Totally unprofessional and rude. I’m glad I didn’t NEED a prescription filled. If this store is open 24 hours….how come it wasn’t open at 8:10 this morning????? SIX customers came & left. AND an employee was waiting outside to start her shift. ALL the lights were on inside the store.
CVS is a pretty decent store, I mainly use CVS to fill my prescriptions and medications. They’re generally pretty good about filling your prescription as soon as possible. However some of the ones with a drive-thru tends to take forever for pickup.
I’m a cancer patient and use this pharmacy for my prescriptions. They rarely ever have my medication ready on time and for my pain medicine I have to ask a nurse from the pain clinic to call for me to get the problem resolved. It’s such a hassle. Thinking about switching to Kroger.
It’s absolutely ridiculous that a corporation like CVS can’t properly staff a pharmacy and / or allows this level of disregard for their brand and people’s time that you just put up raggedy paper signs all over your pickup window. Happy New Year 😂
Routinely tells me prescriptions aren’t ready for pickup yet and then days later the next pharmacy tech says “yeah its ready for pickup, it’s been here for a few days waiting to be picked up”.
Also they changed their hours so it’s very difficult for people working regular business hours to be able to visit. Closing at 6pm is hard already but I showed up yesterday at 5:50 and they had already closed up. Really frustrating because I need my medicine and with work hard to get there before 6…and then they just close whenever they feel like it anyway!
