I used to love this pharmacy until they hired Brian Losinski. He was AWFUL and I will never go back because of him. They told me it would be twenty minutes wait. I waited. 40 minutes later, I go up to check, and the pharmacist tells me he refuses to fill it until tomorrow just because he can. I work at the time the pharmacy opens in the morning, and after I just spent all that time waiting, he could have made a concession as a courtesy. The prescription was from a local doctor and sent the same day. Didn’t matter. Hey had the power to make me wait and that’s what he decided to do. No hospitality whatsoever. No sense of keeping the pharmacy’s word. Just cold, uncaring control and a complete, self-righteous lack of remorse at having wasted my time. Now I’ll have to wait until my lunch break tomorrow, drive all the way up there again. And even then maybe he will say no just out of spite. When you call and tell them you need it now they say “let me check our stock” and then they fill it. But you have to call and complain. Every single time. Not only was the appointment process a breeze, but my experience was incredibly pleasant. Lauren, who took me through the paperwork and everything up front, had amazing energy and was just overall very kind. The doctor who administered the vaccine, Dr. Mann I believe though I didn’t take a good look at his name tag, was also very pleasant and made the process as painless as possible. I was very nervous going in just because nobody loves needles, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I love their selection of groceries, which is great for someone with a vegan or vegetarian diet like me in a small town like Alpena. The staff is also very friendly and chill and I’ve had many fun conversations with people in the store.However, since I moved back here and we’ve had the covid-19 pandemic, I’ve been using the food delivery service. But holy moly how can this service be so consistently bad? One of my first orders was placed but apparently some glitch in the system made it so it was not received and the groceries never showed up. Another order wound up delivering me cheesecake in the place of the pizza I ordered. I was also randomly charged for 11 orders of cashews and nuts I didn’t order (nor did I receive) resulting in about 131 extra dollars being charged to me. Now, tonight, I placed an order and confirmed the order with the delivery person, and during the time it was supposed to be delivered I got an email with no explanation telling me that my order was canceled. What the heck? It’s been consistently frustrating and unreliable since I started using it. Time to wait a half hour to talk to a customer service representative who doesn’t work at the store…
Hopefully they can get things together.

I went through the drive through for my prescription and at first they were nice but then sent me to curbside pickup I sat there for 40 minuets I’m also 9 months pregnant I did not want to get out of my car and walk in so thankfully my husband offered and they still took another 10 minuets just getting it to him INSIDE! I couldn’t believe how long this took. 🤦🏻♀️ Never again am I wasting my time here.
