I have to go in 3-4 days in a row, after receiving a text my prescription is ready, and wait to see when they feel like filling it. I am currently on day 4 of it will be ready in 20 minutes. The rudest staff I have ever dealt with in my life. If you try and ask a question about a new prescription, they tell you to call the prescribing doctor.By Paul Shamblin (2 weeks ago)This pharmacy is by far the worst pharmacy in the area. The only consistent thing about this place is the rude aggressive staff. When you voice the issues you have they tell you to go else where. There have been several times that staff members have announced my medications across the pharmacy. Not to mention they never have anything filled in a timely fashion. I keep giving more chances bc it’s the closest one to me and convenient. I’ve dropped off simple scripts for antibiotics etc , come back 7 hours later, wait 30-40mins in the drive thru and when I get to the window they say “we are gonna start working on it now , pull around to the end of the line”, where I have to wait in an even longer line. This has happened all 3 times I’ve used the drive through. I went inside once and was told to wait for a steroid cream and 40mins later they tell me I can just buy it over the counter and it would be faster. They tried to tell me that paper and digital cannot be combined when for 3 yrs b4 I never had an issue and going to any other location will still accept both. Just dunbar is right by my house and more convenient but won’t now they don’t have a trained staff.Nowhere in cvs disclaimer and store policy does it say they cannot be combined. In the three years I’ve had to use this pharmacy because of my insurance, I have never had a good experience. I used Rite-Aid on Bridge Rd previously and never had any issues.

This rating is for the pharmacy. After being on hold for 17 minutes someone finally answered & the customer service skills were definitely lacking. I’ve used CVS in many different states for over 15 years & have never been this dissatisfied. Management should definitely retrain these guys or find someone who cares about their customers…
I have used CVS for years and the Kanawha City people are superb. The pharmacy is very busy, so I usually assume there will be a wait. Many times doctors offices keep the pharmacist tied up with directions. They are always polite and take care of customers.
Incredibly rude for no reason. I asked to leave the driveway for the pharmacy a few minutes before their lunch was over. I came inside to wait instead and leaned against a counter and was again rudely told to move to a different area. I don’t care if they are having a bad day at their paying job, but that doesn’t mean they have to make others have miserable day… horrible customer service!!
Didn’t realize it was only self checkout so the lady standing behind counter as me what I needed and I said to check out and she told me if was self checkout only !!! The problem is that she was VERY RUDE about it !!!! Poor Customer Service !!!
The incompetence of these folks is astounding…my husband was having surgery and his script was called in ahead of time. We went to pick up the medication no problem. When we got to the appointment the doctor confirmed there should’ve been four medications to pick up and not three. When I called the pharmacy back to see if they just forgot to give us the medication and to my surprise, they also confirmed that four medications were called in but only three were available as one was on back order. CVS pharmacy should’ve mentioned this at pick up?! Now we’re scrambling to find an alternative…do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here.
