Our toddler was sick with the flu when we took him to State of Franklin urgent care. The front desk representative was so kind and helpful! I truly feel like God placed her in our path that evening. They got me back quickly, started strong breathing treatment and gave me injections that got me breathing again. I had to go back yesterday. It was the same. My first visit here I waited 4 hours in the car in the hot sun just to wait 2 hours in the actual exam room to see someone. God forbid you get a Nurse Practitioner, the one I had was an older woman who looked at my tennis ball sized lymph nodes on my neck and told me I “wasn’t swollen”. Tried to pass it off as vertigo. Saw an actual doctor and got a proper diagnosis for mono. My second time going with someone else we waited nearly 2 hours in the hot sun yet again before we were tired, and they felt even more Ill cooking in the parking lot. Front desk lady also had attitude when we asked how much longer. (She said 2 hours btw).By Alaina Hall (5 months ago)Awful experience! Long waits and they don’t want to help you get better! I came there for a sinus infection I had had for 5 days. Dr Doty the nurse practitioner refused to give me an antibiotic and instead told me to take a list of otc medicines so long I couldn’t even remember all of them but they included- robitussin, mucinex, cold/ flu tablets, a cough tablet, Benadryl, Sudafed, Thera flu, and the list goes on. I cannot believe a normal human could function on that much medicine it made me feel loopy. I called them the next day to tell them that and no one bothered to call me back. So the following day I went back in and saw nurse practitioner Gardner! He was a real piece of work to and smarted off to me several times but he did at least give me the antibiotic that I needed 2 days before when I first came in asking for help! If you actually are sick and need help save yourself a lot of waiting time and go elsewhere. They will give u a Covid/ flu/ strep test and charge you for it and then send you on your way to keep spreading your sickness to everyone else. Biggest scam I’ve ever seen in my life. Not only for emergenies that do not require the Emergency room but when it is not possible to see a regular provider. They are open to 8p. If you can set an appointment time it is best. Fast Pace in blountville is one of the best urgent cares we have been to. I don’t take my kids no where else except there. The staff and Doctors there are wonderful. My little girl loves them there. All of the people I encountered were friendly and took time to make sure I was well cared for. The team, receptionist, lab technician, nurse and physician, all paid attention to my needs and made me feel very comfortable. This is an excellent urgent care. Very clean and well organized. I went on my lunch break and they were efficient with my time. They were friendly, helpful and informative. The best thing I liked and have never had happen before is they called me a week after to follow up with me to go over lab results and to make sure I was good and symptoms had subsided. Highly recommend this urgent care.
I truly can not believe the genuine caring and compassionate care I received here. From the receptionist to the nurse and doctor everyone was so kind, understanding and helpful. They were very generous with their time taking the time to listen to me and offer suggestions. Thank you so much I am so grateful to be feeling better.
Folks, this is as friendly and as efficient as any urgent care place can be. Made an appointment online and went right in and right to an examining room. Got seen by a real doctor. The nurse, assistant, and front desk personnel are great. It’s the best place in the area for urgent healthcare.
I booked online to get on the waiting list. Easy to sign up. They got me in very quickly. They were thorough and efficient and answered all my questions. It was a very easy appointment and I would highly recommend this office for any urgent care needs. Very professional and kind!
