I was traveling through the area. Had a severe case of pinkeye. Very short wait time.Staff was first class. Very friendly and compassionate nurse. I was put in a room at 8:30pm. Doctor was in right away very pleasant. An assistant was also there doing an EKG and taking blood. They are fast a d efficient. Pleasant staff from the te you sigh in to the diagnostic people to the Doctors. Great experience KathieBy kathie morin (4 months ago)South Strand use to be my go to hospital whenever my kiddos were injured or sick, but my recent visit was horrible. The 2 check in ladies the one inside the office and the one outside were rude and very short tempered, no compassion whatsoever only there for a compensation is how we felt. We were there for 3 hours and witnessed all the behavior toward other patients that walked in as well. At first I thought it was just me and I love giving people the benefit of the doubt, but when I heard others talking amongst each other saying the staff were acting like jerks and they should have went to another hospital I silently agreed. I know there’s probably staffing issues etc but maybe some need to find a new line of work.There are other things that happened, but it would be too much to get into. My medical care was excellent, and all who interacted with me (there were at least 8, including 2 doctors, a PA, a PA in training, and several medical technicians) were competent and caring. I recently scheduled an appointment on the internet to be seen due to an infection that has started in my mouth . Bcs I was in so much pain I had my mom check me in and they had told my mom that they didn’t take my insurance (United Heath Care). She said that it would be 150.00 to see the doctor. I was like well they had took my insurance before no questions asked on a different visit. Anyway due to the severe pain I was in I was like whatever I have to get antibiotics for this like now , as I proceeded at the check in window I had asked if they wouldn’t mind charging two different cards 100 on one card and 50 on the other . I guess that was a problem bcs she all of a sudden said that my card says fraud. And card works perfectly fine ! Again as I was completely embarrassed I ran out to the car and got the cash and she took a breath in and took the money . Hold time it felt like they didn’t want to see/ help me. Finally get called to the back and the doctor asks one question look in my mouth real quick and refers me to a dental clinic. I said yeah we have a dental clinic lined up we’re just on the waiting list. And Quickly after that she said I will send antibiotics and your free to go and rushed out the door.Like I said the whole visit was awkward and kinda felt like we were a problem to them and also felt like we were treat wrong. I will never return to this place ever .
By Kevin Connor (4 months ago)CVS online selected Surfside doctors care for her flu symptoms. After entering all her information online with pictures of license and insurance we were told a 2 he wait. After 1 1/2 we got another text saying another half hour.
On route more than halfway we received another text saying another hour. We went anyway since they kept pushing us back.

Had an amazing experience at this clinic. I was from out of town to help a friend and her family and fell and fractured my kneecap. A little busy when I first went in but once I was in the office and the doctor came in I felt I had her full attention to detail and care. The nurse was outstanding and very concerned. The front desk folks were very helpful and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
In spite of it being a chaotic time, and extremely busy (which is out of the staffs control) they were very professional and quite apologetic for the wait. Once called in, the level of service was extremely prompt and professional. From the triage nurse, to the practitioner who handled my test and gave me the results, I was more than pleased with the level of care. Super professional, excellent bedside manners, and prompt efficient diagnosis. Highly recommend to everyone, including my closest friends and family.
I had the best experience I could of asked for being on vacation and needing a doctor. Ashley the NPC was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She treated me with excellent care, and made sure my needs were met. The whole staff were friendly, efficient, and tentative. Triage nurse was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
My second time here and my last time. I called ahead of time at 12pm and I’m still here at 7:30pm. I’ve been waiting for 2 hours. This is such a joke. They take people who walk in faster then they take people who sign in online.
Pleasant, prompt and professional. Nice to find a place that can treat non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. Will be using their services again since it seems I typically get sick or hurt on the weekends. Insurance covered all but a $5 copay. Great place to go if your personal physician is overbooked (which always seems to be the case). I came in on Saturday afternoon because i was unable to get into my doctors office until Monday. I had an awful rash that itched so bad I would have never held out to Monday. Thanks to the great associates for their help. Much better today yay
