  1. Dr. Joe always has time to answer all my questions and I have seldom had to wait. He is also very thorough which gives me great confidence. I enjoy seeing Rachel when I am there as well! The best!

  2. Dr. Marzolf was spot on with her diagnosis. The rest of the staff were professional and caring including her assistant, the x-ray tech, and front office personnel. The patient portal is great and had records of tests readily available. Very pleased with the entire experience. I’m thankful to now have a primary doc that is accessible and listens, along with a great professional staff.

  3. very efficient front desk. Dr Marzolf’s assistant is pleasant and knows how to draw blood without pain.
Dr Marzolf is caring, she listens and I love her sense if humor. She also explains very well the different health issues. She Is The best!

  4. Professional? Nope. Incompetent? Yup. We visited for a rapid covid test over a year ago, the nurse was great but that was the last good part of this interaction. I paid the bill at the appt and my insurance paid the bill once they finally submitted it properly 6 months later. I confirmed with them that we were paid in full and had a zero balance. Now 8 months after that I am getting calls that we owe them money. You don’t get paid three times for one service. Terrible billing practices and horrible post care service.

  5. Dr Marzolf is a most wonderful doctor. She is very compassionate and REALLY listens. She takes her time with the patient, not rushing through the appointment like so many other doctors. Can’t think of a better physician. Thank you Dr M 🙂

Staff was nice but when I came in for my daught having rsv and flu symptoms they only ran an RSV test and nothing else. In my opinion this time of year they should run multiple tests for viruses or even a panel test to rule out other illness.I had to rush her to the actually emergency room not even 12 hrs later for a 104 fever and was positive for the flu..when urgent care could’ve tested her to begin with and didn’t .
At urgent care they told me she had a cold and let us pay 150 and then leave when she was indeed positive for the flu.

Fantastic experience! Jodi specifically by name who was our nurse was by far the nicest and most caring person I have ever met. The entire staff is rated A+++ in my book! Front desk staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely caring and attentive. The doctor made our visit easy and fast.

The care team was great. However, the office policies regarding payment and a record of the services received are stupid and will prevent me from getting reimbursed from my insurer (which they wouldn’t accept). Because I paid their cash price (they call it their “bundle”), they wouldn’t provide me with a record of the services provided. Ridiculous.

They have been hounding me about a bill I already paid the day of treatment. I have showed them the receipt and the transaction details on my card, they say I’m all good to go and then a month later they bill me again.
Not to mention the 4.5 hour wait in my car. Only to be seen for 5 minutes.

The lobby was clean and welcoming, the nurse was very nice and accommodating, room wait time was a little lengthy but that’s understandable. The Dr. was great, listened to me and understood my situation and was caring and had compassion for my situation. We were able to get me some meds until I could get in to see my regular Dr. Thank You Izzy

My wife was admitted to the hospital after receiving chemo at the cancer clinic with a fever. I would like to thank all the nurses, case managers, nurse practitioners, doctors and all staff that had a part in her care. You were all amazing. She received the best care we ever received from a hospital. You worked tirelessly to make sure she was comfortable and receiving the best drugs for her condition. The collaboration between the doctors, case managers and nursing staff working on her behalf was incredibly. When the type of blood platelets became less available they made arrangements by contacting St Luke’s Presbyterian Hospital in Denver. They had no available beds at the time but convinced the hospital to make room for her so she could continue to get the care she needs. They
arranged for ambulances to and from the hospital and to be taken by air ambulance and flown to Denver. I was overwhelmed at times but the loving care she received. It was like family. I pray that St Luke’s can live up to your standards.
Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience, I felt the need to give a review. My father had to be taken to the ER while I was here visiting from out of town so this of course was my first and only experience here at Montrose Regional, but certainly not my first visit to a hospital. I was extremely happy with the staff and the doctors and was much more at ease when we had to leave my Dad overnight as I knew he was in good hands. All we encountered were so nice and seemed to genuinely care. They were very accommodating and always willing to answer any questions. The hospital was also clean and even the food was a high five. Our experience here was nothing but positive.

I went to the hospital for severe abdominal pain, and because I was camping did not look the best. I was made to wait almost 45min and rudely taken back by a nurse who was extremely sarcastic and rude to me. I was treated as if I was drug seeking even after telling the nurse, doctor and medtech that I did not want pain medication and that I only wanted to figure out what was causing the pain.
It was only after the medtech found out that I also worked in health care in the emergency services field that the ER doctor and nurse decided to actually treat me like a human being. This hospital should be disgusted with the way they treat people. I am very familiar with dealing with people who are seeking, however you still have to treat people with respect. If I could give less than a star I would. If you need Montrose regional hospital make sure you are dressed to the nines or they will treat you horribly.

Thank you to the ER team last evening at Montrose Regional Health. Having been in recovery from Ureteral stent I was sent to ER for major kidney pain and bleeding. You all took great care of me and made me comfortable while we sorted out the issues. Thank you for your patience with me as my anxiety was high not knowing what was happening. I cannot express my gratitude ❤️‍🩹🙏🏻

I had many occasions to visit the hospital while living in montrose. I have been in icu twice. I have always got the best care from the nurses and nurses aid. Even the emergency room is much better. Than the state I live now. After living in my new state I really miss the care I received at montrose hospital.
