First time appointment was wonderful! I had just left my previous primary care physician at Hutch Clinic after 6 years due to lack of care and follow up. So I was pleasantly surprised after my first encounter with Dr. Hinton. However, after my 2nd appointment due to several medical issues I have been dealing with since mid-November, I am very disappointed and wondering if I need to keep looking. I found her to be quite rude, even condescending. She spent less than 5 minutes with me which I guess is the normal now. I know they are busy but if they don’t have the professionalism to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the title then we may need to keep looking. Very disappointed.By Debra Groth (a month ago)Wednesday they have a walk-in mental health clinic, my first time being here, I arrived at 8am, and the check in window opens at 930am, I was waiting hours and arrived early to do my paperwork, to make sure I had been seen, because the holiday schedule was interfering with my scheduled appointment.
When they opened the check in window two people RAN at a very fast paced to the window to be first with total disregard and disrespect for people who were already waiting.
They did not care. First come first serve.
Keep in mind the total lack of care for their customers, zero faith from first impression. Horrible customer service and zero organization.
I normally don’t write reviews, but this was very unprofessional and deserved mention.

The best is the Walk in clinic, which I have had to use several times! Always hardly any waiting and the best of care! I’ve went to both of their appointments and this is what I’ve gathered from this office.If you have chronic illness of any kind, they won’t listen to you. Whitney (one of the friends) has chronic pain, mental health issues, and just poor health in general.
The first time seeing the doctor went wonderful. The doctor listened, provided the right course of treatment for her. Now? After only two visits, the doctor won’t even see Whitney, let alone listen to her. The doctor won’t respond to Whitney messages and calls. So because of this, she can’t get her meds refilled.
Another friend of mine, who is Transgender, also went to see a doctor there and got blown off. The nurse of the doctor she saw got annoyed that she has so many health issues. When she tried to get a hold of psych for an appointment, the person who called her back said it was a waste of time.
So. My conclusion. This office of doctors and nurse DO NOT care. The oath of “Do No Harm” does not stand in this office.

Took my son in for an X-ray after being injured in a football game. Staff was very professional, informative and friendly. Treated my son (16) with a lot of respect even though he is a minor and I was there with him. Talking to him about what happened instead of ignoring him and asking me. We did not have to wait long before being seen. I felt like the PA was very thorough and followed through with everything she said she would do like putting the X-ray films on a CD for our team Dr. and calling after we left with results and to follow up with how my son was doing. The attendant was friendly but, on a Sunday when nothing else is open they are busy but seems as though they tend to send everyone to the ER no matter what. They thought that my common pnumonia on my left side, found by the ER (not them) was a possible blood clot in my lung. They claimed they didn’t have the equipment to effectively come up with a positive diagnosis. I will most likely never use this facility again. Please note if you feel like you will get better answers from the hospital, no matter if it’s the weekend, go there. My daughter face planted on a deli case at a store and ended up with a gash on her face as well as bit the inside of her lip and sustained a concussion. I called ahead and they said come right in. In thirty minutes we had been checked in, treated and discharged with the kindest and gentlest care!! My grandmother was in the ER exactly one week ago today, due to severe pain in her leg. She’s had arthritis for years and years, and when we took her in she was misdiagnosed, (after 4 hours of waiting), with a fractured knee. We’ve taken her to one doctor and one radiologist since then who both have agreed that she definitely doesn’t have any fractures. That’s also just the beginning. I arrived around three hours after the rest of my family had gotten there, and I went to sit in a chair in the waiting room. A while after I sat down, my aunt informed me that I should probably move chairs because as I looked down, there was a little pool of blood literally under my feet. I literally stepped in that with my sandals. When we noticed the blood, my uncle said that he had gone to use the public restroom a couple of hours earlier and that in one of the stalls there was blood all over the walls and floor. He informed one of the employees at the ER, and they said they were going to get someone to take care of it. Hours later and nothing had been done, as a man sitting near us got up to use the restroom and came back and told us not to use that bathroom because there was blood everywhere. The man, and our family ended up taking some pictures of both areas that we found blood at, as obviously this is extremely unsanitary and probably against a ton of health codes for a hospital. Would never, ever recommend Hutchinson Hospital to anyone ever.
Our daughter Melissa was in the ICU for 2 1/2 weeks bring treated for aspiration pneumonia. She has disabilities and has had reoccurring pneumonia since the middle of December. We were blessed with the caring team that worked with her through her stay. They worked hard on finding the causes for her issues. They were wonderful to our family as we stayed with her continually. I can not say enough good things about this ICU unit.
My dad was in 5100 floor. We are so grateful for Hutchinson regional medical center
Our family had the best experience! My dad Jay Spencer said that he had the best Dr’s, nurses and his favorite CNA.Thank you for taking such good care of our dad.
My mother spent a week in the hospital..she has had excellent care from Doctors, nurses,CNAs and the other staff…ICU has a beautiful unit with the most caring staff and then she was moved to 3 rd floor.. room little small and hard to get around in there but again her care she received was excellent.. I definitely would pick this hospital as the one to come too
A year ago my son died in this hospital due to the negligence of the medical staff. He was 38 yrs old and Covid positive. I took him to get an infusion treatment here as his Dr advised & scheduled the appointment to do so. He was type I diabetic & the treatment caused him to go into dka state within a day. I called 911 & emts carried my son out of his home with his pants down and took him to this horrible facility against my wishes as I told them I insist he be taken to a Wichita Hospital. A few days later the hospital called me & wanted the ok to send him to Denver to be put on an Eccmo machine. I declined so they gave up and assisted my son to die. He died on Jan 19, 2022 totally unnecessarily. I will be adding more reviews to share the awful experience I went through with this hospital hopefully aiding to prevent future unnecessary deaths of patients and the misery & agony it causes the family members of the patient.
