East haven has been amazing with their work i absolutely love coming here and the staff is always so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend! Merly the site manager at this location was absolutely amazing helped me with my situation and with her and the doctors help we found a solution right away. Second occasion waited the 2 hours to see the doctor. Check in process was fine but waited over an hour to be taken into a room then another 45 minutes for a doctor to come in. One of my complaints was an earache causing vertigo. The doctor did not even look in my ear. Although I ultimately left with what I came for (an antibiotic prescription), a 2 plus hour wait for a 20 second evaluation was a waste of time. If you’re looking for a thorough evaluation (or any evaluation at all) maybe go elsewhere. Facility is also not very welcoming. Definitely a last resort stop for me. Upon arrival, I was told they don’t honor the appointments, and it is first come first serve. Apparently, it has been this way for a while. Came in at 9 and was told “appointments are just for show” and it’s first come first serve. If I had known I would have come in much earlier as I selected the earliest slot online. It is currently 11:35 and I have not seen a doctor yet because they only have one tablet for telehealth. Nurse told me it would likely be another half hour or so before it’s my turn(making this over 3 hours to see a doctor) Staff generally has been rude and ambivalent throughout the process with only one lady really acknowledging how ridiculous the wait has been for me, especially with an appointment made. All I wanted was covid and flu test but they could only do it after a doctor saw me and gave an order. I have coughed constantly all over everything, other have as well with poor mask use, yet I never saw anything cleaned or sanitized by staff since coming in.By Rob Hughes (a month ago)This was the worst it was a 2 hour wait for me to be seen and even worse my baby was sick and because she is turning 5 in a month the woman at the front desk said sick or not the doctor is uncomfortable seeing children under 5. Like so I have to wait 2 hours to be seen and just leave my poor baby whom I’m more worried about sitting here sick. Never will come here and definitely don’t recommend to anyone. I had fantastic assistance both times I’ve needed to come here. First was an eye emergency last year, everybody was kind and patient as well as incredibly helpful by finding and setting up necessary appointments for the issue further. My second visit yesterday was the same experience. I have been in excruciating pain the last few months and a simple but full examination was performed where we most likely determined the issue. Sam, the APRN who did my exam, was nothing but gentle and professional. She left me well informed and I am so grateful for my experience with her.
I love this urgent care. It has been my go to for the past several years since they’ve opened. They always take time to listen to me and treat me accordingly. I never feel dismissed here as I have in other places. They allow booking appointments in advance and online for easier and quicker process. If I could give more stars I would!
We only have nice things to say and high praise for Physician One Urgent Care!! From the minute we walked through the door, I knew we made the right choice. We were both exposed to Covid and needed a test quickly. Never being there before the to fantastic ladies check us in very quickly, professionally. Being told we would have to pay for the tests, these ladies took the time to check, fill out all the paperwork so we didn’t need to pay. They were great!! The Physicians Assistant was great, professional and the medical assistant was kind, caring and professional as well. The whole experience was great. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I called ahead and was given an appointment in 30 minutes. Wait was about 30 minutes from when I completed paperwork until I was seen.. Everyone was professional & respectful. Paul took my info & vitals. He also tested me for COVID, flu & RSV. Kate (PA) gave me results of test and did more diagnostic work, including an examination. She explained everything she did. She was awesome, kind & gentle.Together we came up with a plan of treatment. Prescriptions were sent to pharmacy quickly.
The facility inside was clean. I feel confident about plan. I recommend this facility.
The staff are patient and kind, the wait time was short and I was listened to and treated with respect when explaining my issue. As someone who dreads going to the doctor, I assumed this would be yet another negative experience with a walk-in facility. I could not have been more wrong. Thank you Jessica, Jose and all the staff for making my experience a positive one.
