They got me scheduled over the phone and had me do my paperwork through a link to make my check in easier and the wait time so much shorter. I was called back probably 5 minutes after checking in. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant. Probably the quickest I’ve been seen at an urgent care as well. Granted my reason for being there wasn’t anything too major but the whole process was smooth and no one I spoke with from scheduling the appointment to checking out was rude which is rare these days! And I really appreciated the nurse that I had. She was so nice and easy going and made me feel at home and when aiding to my issue she was patient and let me know everything she was doing before doing it. I was able to book an appointment online for almost immediate care. You can do your intake forms online so upon my arrival I was checked in and waited no more than 10 minutes to be seen. I expressed my concerns and symptoms. The medical provider did a quick exam on me and addressed the issue. She also advised me on other symptoms to monitor in case they didn’t clear up and to come back if things didn’t improve. She wrote a prescription for my initial issue and sent me on my way. My total visit was no more than 30 minutes since my issue was fairly minor. I believe her name was Corey. I would definitely go back to this location. The staff was quick and very helpful. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. When I came in they were severely understaffed, yet Tammy and Jill helped me get in and out easy peasy.
Very Polite and fast responding, AND professional staff . Had and appointment at Stratford Winston-Salem for a Drug test but they were short staff i had to come to Greensboro Wendover. And they attended me fast. i was in and out no less than 30 mins . Thank you . YVonne Iesha & DR. Phillips lopez
I was immediately turned off at first because they advertise that walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is needed. However, when we arrived needing only a sports physical, we were told we could not be seen and scheduled for the next day! When we returned the following day and were waiting in the lobby to be seen, they did the exact same thing to someone else who was a walk-in. As a business owner myself, if you advertise something, you should honor it!! The other thing that bothered me was there was a “masks required” sign on the door but they didn’t enforce it, as people who came in for COVID tests were sitting in the lobby unmasked.
The nurse and practitioner were very nice and competent and the establishment was very clean. They would have received 5 stars if the had adhered to their own scheduling and masking policies.
I took my son there, we didn’t have an appointment, but the receptionist ask us to wait a few minutes and they would be able to see him. We waited about 20 minutes and they called him back. The PA was great, the ladies at the front we great. Overall the fastest I’ve been in & out of any urgent care.
I visited FastMed on Battleground several times for care following a work related injury. Wait times were longer than expected on a couple visits considering that I had an appointment. However, I realize that this is typical for urgent care facilities. I was very happy with the individual care I received from Markis, and also from P.A. Justin Reed. They were both very professional and helpful. Jill was also very courteous and pleasant each time she checked me in at the reception desk. The staff is an asset to this facility.
