Kind, clean, caring. From the front desk associate to the nurse practitioner, all staff were exceptional. This Urgent Care is fantastic in customer service and hospitality.
With the ability to check-in on your phone – the process was fast, easy, and smooth. The front desk associate is very kind and helpful to everybody. I wish I caught her name, just her benevolence made me feel better.
The nurse practitioner, Kerri, was extremely knowledgeable and supportive. She was able to effectively provide me with solutions, leaving me feel confident in my health.

Dr. Kelly has been in the business it looks like for a really long time but you would’ve thought it was his first day on how nice he was and really listen to you I had to get a picture with an actual Doctor Who cared! 😊By Traci Whiteley (a year ago)We typically avoid going to urgent care clinics if at all possible for a number of reasons. Our granddaughter was very sick over the weekend and her pediatrician’s office was closed. Took her to AFC South Charlotte and could not have been more pleased. There were 7 people ahead of us. We were still in and out within an hour. Very clean clinic. Nurses were absolutely wonderful and the practitioner was very caring and thorough. Would not hesitate to revisit. They had to re-pierce her nipple just to push it through. Steven was very kind and patient. Irene definitely put me at ease because I was about to pass out. She even let me eat all her pineapples. AFC Urgent Care was incredible! We walked in, waited maybe 10 min, were seen quickly & left within the hour. My family needs rapid Covid tests for a trip soon & we’re planning to go here because they made everything so easy and were so friendly and professional. A wonderful facility with some of the best front office staff I’ve ever experienced. I came in pretty late and I was still out the door within the first hr of me being there. I was scheduled for a physical and drug test. Shannon was extremely flexible and cared deeply regarding her professionalism even as time drew down at the end of the shift. She did her best to get my paperwork situated when it seemed all hope was loss. I am so thankful for her help. I also have the best doctor ever by the name of Dr. Elsey. Extremely recommended if you need a dot physical or drug test administrated. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST IN THE BIZ!!!
The staff there is very pleasant I like how it seems like everyone communicates well. The wait time is long and I understand how staffing can be challenging these days… if your going for a screening or something other than being sick keep in mind it is a urgent care I guess where they don’t have a department or staffing to handle the non- sick patients. But other than that great service.
The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had just for a drug test. I arrived at the location at 4:27 pm. There was a few people in the a lobby. There was specifically a young man at the desk also trying to get a drug test. He had to leave to go next door to print his paperwork. The front desk person took my info, gave me forms to fill out so I did. Gave her my forms and the form I brought with me. The other young man comes back and get his form, Fill them out and give her the form he went to print. They called him back before they called me back. I told the young girl I had I use the rest room bad. By this time, me and my son had being waiting for 45 minutes. I just couldn’t wait anymore. I told her I really need to go but she just said ok and didn’t try to get the person or anything. I asked where the bathroom was because I can’t wait and she told me. She never said it will be considered a walk out. When I finished I said I will come back tomorrow and then she told me it will be a walk out and the employer will consider it was such. I angrily told her I was not pleased that she didn’t tell me that and she put others in front of me. I had to wait another hr drinking water to finally get my test done. I told them I was ready and they took another 30 minutes to call me back. I think out of spite because there were absolutely no one There beside me at the time. I young lady did try offer options but the other one was downright rude. If it wasn’t for the other lady, I would wish I can give them 0 stars.
I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. I was told how long my visit was estimated to be from start to finish before I even signed in. I was grateful for that as I had to leave work to be seen and was able to provide my employer with an estimated time I’d be back. Everyone I spoke to was kind and caring and I felt as if they genuinely wanted to help. My concerns weren’t brushed off and I believe they answered every question I had to the best of their ability. I highly recommend them!
Clean and well staffed facility. Front desk staff was courteous and immediately attentive. Jess got stuck with me for the majority of my visit and she was an absolute blessing to have with me as I was completely unsure what to expect. The whole staff made me feel welcome, not at all like I was at a medical facility. Highly recommend for personal medical attention.
