  1. First time there for a couple of things Dr said she couldn’t do anything plus she had a accent so it was very hard to understand her. Why do you go to urgent care? To find out what is wrong and to get better. Will not go back If you read this Beware

  2. I really hope people stop going here. I had no choice but to come here for the first time and had the worst experience. 😕 I brought my daughter in because she had a small red spot that was burning and it swelled up and welted 3 days later only getting worse. I was a worried mother who couldn’t get to their own physician because everyone was in a meeting that morning. They got us in quickly and the doctor looked at my child and asked me a couple questions. Within about five minutes he jumped to the conclusion I was abusing my daughter!! Told me he had to look at her skin and said something wasn’t “adding up” my heart sank realizing what he was accusing me of. He brought an older lady in who made no attempt in comforting my eight year old daughter having to deal with this traumatic incident and didn’t want strangers touching her or looking at her skin and he told me he couldn’t leave the room. We decided going to the er was best since he told me he had to report me if I didn’t. THANK GOD I went to the er. The ladies were so amazing. Calmed me down being an emotional mess. It was so stressful. The er found out very quickly my daughter had cellulitis of the face and if I listened to him we would have went home UNTREATED. Next time instead of jumping to assuming someone is abusing their children you should really exercise all possibilities before creating such a stressful situation within five minutes and giving horrible advice. I would never recommend Dr. Wickham to anyone.

  3. Bed bugs and rude staff rooms are nasty as hell and they dont even clean after a patient leaves… They took me out of a room i tound bed bugs in and immediately put another guess in to that room without cleaning it… I would definitely recommend a different hospital if you want to be treated with respect and are actually looking to get better i had yo go live on Facebook to get treatment in this place horrible service and staff (wish i could give zero stars) staff is racist as well but i will post the live video on here as well if it will let me

  4. Well..I had a boil on my back..never had a boil.the doctor sat down and gave me my options..he was professional funny and smart I opted for the lance..It was painful for the numbing but the procedure was effective..I don’t know his name..but I’ll figure that out.he was so informative I’d like him to b my PCP..shout out to this physician..thank you

  5. I never have been to this Mercy Urgent Care before and I got lost in the building finding it. It’s a big building. I got mad and flustered and when the Nurse Pam took my blood pressure, it was high. I told her that I got lost and was not impressed with the building as I was mad and upset that I got lost. Nurse Pam said, we will take your blood pressure after you are done. Well, Nurse Pam never took my blood pressure. This nurse needs to be more diligent. Pretty sloppy nursing. She didn’t seem to care. I got home and took my blood pressure and it was normal. They gave me a paper gown! Really? I saw washed fabric gowns behind the check in ladies.
The check in ladies didn’t seem to care. Least, pretend to care! Dr.Melinda Y. was ok. She did ask me if I had any questions and that was good. I wanted to try a different Mercy Urgent Care because the Mercy Urgent Care in Marion would diagnose me with stuff and give me antibiotics for stuff that they thought I had, then the tests would come back negative with something less serious health problem. That Mercy Urgent Care in Marion gave me really bad anxiety diagnosing me before the tests came back. I was not impressed with Mercy Care on Council Street.

Everytime I come here I am in horrible pain. The doctors barely let me list out my symptoms before they diagnose me with something. They usually just send me away with an antibiotic if i’m lucky and always down play my symptoms. They always interrogate me about covid and are quick to shove a test up my nose that I don’t ask for. I am in real pain and these doctors don’t seem to care about treating it, they just want their copay and to send me out the door.

Always courteous and helpful. They will bend over backwards to help. This is where I go for non emergency, unscheduled appointments for illnesses. The staff is amazing!!

Spent quit some time bouncing around on the bus to get to mercy urgent care south. I have severe back problems so yeah not fun. Can’t barely talk so I wrote down my symptoms which they didn’t care about. The nurse practitioner or what ever she is jyst wanted to push a covid test which I already had done and it was negative. I already had a mercy nurse put the covid thing up my nose so far I had blood pouring out. But she did look in my ears and said I had a lot of fluid in them she did not care that I was dizzy and unstable even standing up. So should be great if I fall as my back is already messed up and a fall can leave me paralized. But hey why should she care it wont be her that will be paralized. Streph supposedly came back negative. She said the pain in my right side is from my stomach thats on theeft side She shrugged off when I told her I have a lot of uti’s. So my urin is cloudy because it wants to be. So I left in tears because I went all the way there just to be ignored. I am sure they get bonuses for not prescribing anti biotics. There is no reason to make people suffer because you want to be rude and not even do your job. A doctor is supposed to take a oath saying they will not do no harm ha ha funny making people suffer is doing harm. She asked if I had been around any one sick well dang I forgot to ask every one who rode the bus with me this last week. It is sad to say I will probably get better care at unity point. So if I do need antibiotics who is going to tell me sorry for putting me threw this hlll?

Mercy Care South has been my go-to quick care clinic for several years now, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with staff and physicians. When I had COVID I got actual treatment for relieving the symptoms. When I had to recently return for a shoulder and back injury I was seen quickly and listened to, and treated! It is so rare to find doctors that actually listen to the patient these days and are also competent in their ability to practice medicine. 5 stars would recommend!

I have always loved this urgent care because of how nice everyone is and how quickly I get in and out. However my visit yesterday was a bit too quick. The nurse never took my vitals and the doctor was in there long enough to listen to me take two breathes, say I sound bad and prescribe antibiotics. He didn’t listen to my other concerns. When he originally asked me why I was there I got out two words and he started talking over me. My ears went unchecked even tho that was one of my primary concerns.

Earlier this year I waited 40 minutes past my appointment that was just for 1 shot. They tell you to get here early yet you get here and wait for who knows how long. Waited for my doctor a separate time for 30 minutes. Got here 25 minutes early this time and had to wait once again past my visit time. I’ve been coming here for years and every time I come it gets worse and worse. Finding a new doctors office. You voice your concerns nicely to the staff and they smile and say oh that’s too bad.

My daughters were treated quite poorly at this facility and because of that I Would not recommend. I was appalled by the behavior of these nurses and their unprofessionalism

WARNING ⚠️ If you are in need of pain management or medication regardless of what’s causing your pain DO NOT go here they’ll just send you to a clinic like they did me for trigger point injections that don’t work or if your me medication you can’t take because of allergies and then you’ll be discharged as a patient so don’t waste your time- PATIENTS BEFORE POLITICS DOESN’T EXIST HERE

Every time literally every time I call it takes at least 10 minutes for someone to answer. Every time I request a refill with the pharmacy it’s always days behind because the doctor won’t look at it for a long period of time. I understand that patience is a virtue for health and medical but if your looking for a family doctor go somewhere else!

How long do you have to sit for a scheduled appointment? Too long. Doctors and nurses need to focus on their job and not personal life and worry about people coming in there to be seen.
