I have always gone to General Hospital for all my colonoscopies. I have had about three now. The nurses are so nice, caring and very personal. They made me feel at ease and very comfortable. Before I knew it I was in recovery and had awaken from the best sleep ever! I felt nothing regarding the whole procedure. Thank you nurses and the doctor for a great experience. Would wholeheartedly recommend General to everyone!!By Mary Atkinson (5 months ago)I was there Monday 11/14/2022 for lab work. I had to go to registration first and employee was so friendly and kind. Went to lab and was checked in by such a knowledgeable,,helpful and friendly employee. She said there was a lot of blood work ordered and went to check with supervisor. Came back and explained to me and took me in the back for test. She was just an all around great employee and should be recognized for her outstanding job. I am so bad with names but I am sure there is a way you can find out the names of these employees. I was there first thing in the morning around 7am.

From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with such nice people!! I was made very comfortable for the procedure. Well I made a review a month ago and now I take it all back. I had an appt today at 2pm. Showed up at 1. Waited 20 mins to get checked in and im still waiting and its 2:17. People are coming and going. They were coughing, not covering their mouth and mask not on properly. The staff were rude and insensitive to the fact that I don’t want Covid. Why am I still waiting if 2 of the doctor thats seeing me patients didn’t show up?? Wow terrible service. We were greeted by security and I was told I had to wait outside till my daughter was in a room he said 30 minutes. I mentioned to him my daughter is special needs. Over two hours went by . My daughter was communicating by text and calling me. She said she had blood drawn but was never given a room . The next thing you know she says she’s being discharged. I received a text from our pharmacy for medication of which I knew nothing as to what it was for. My daughter was also freezing in the tiny isolated room. I called the ER to see if she could get a blanket, yes of course the woman said . No blanket ever showed up. I called the ER again and explained that my daughter has a disability and what has she been prescribed medication for ? My daughter did not know due to her disability. She also said she never saw a doctor. This all came about because my daughter has a disability and know one took the time to care . One nurse said I could tell she had a disability so maybe you look at the emergency contact list ?? You get permission to call someone on her list or ask how she got there or if family was outside.This was a bad experience . I was told to ask for a nurse or a doctor the next time so they can make sure this doesn’t happen again forgive me but I don’t have a lot of faith in the ER and how long do you think that will take to get a nurse or Dr? I just hope the next time I visit the ER it isn’t this horrible.
Great people wonderful staff, felt 6 hrs. There to find out if I had a lesion on my colon from a colonoscopy I had the day before was very timely for the E.R. Maybe it was a lot busier than it looked. But I was quite nervous. But they did take wonderful care of me.
We where out of town when my daughter fell and broke her wrist. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. From the security officer, the receptionist, and technicians to the provider they all took the time to make sure my daughter was well taken care of and comfortable. After the fact they have made it really easy to have her records transferred so she can continue care at home. I would highly recommend this facility and can not be more grateful to everyone involved for their compassion and help.
The ED was very crowded, but they fit in my 4-yr-old son and got us in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. The nurses were kind and understanding, and Dr. Natale was too. He made an expert, thorough assessment, communicated clearly and was one step ahead of the situation the entire time. We are incredibly grateful.
We had an amazing experience. Went 11/8 midnight-5am. The staff treated us so kind. Constantly attentive. My grandson was very scared as he couldn’t breathe well with rsv. they were patient and gentle. Even brought us blankets and I got a recliner while we waited. I was amazed at how friendly they all were!! Thank you so much!
