I very highly recommend this urgent care. Another doctors office told me I needed two tests quickly. I made an appointment online and it was a very smooth process. Once I arrived, they got me back to the room very quickly and I met with the P. A., nurse and another individual. All three were very kind and very helpful. The two tests seemed quite unnecessary to me but since the other doctors office asked for them to be done High Lakes Urgent Care was very open to helping me get the tests. The best urgent care experience I’ve had. We have 4 kids and this was our second time to this urgent care. Both experiences were equally wonderful. It’s a beautiful clean facility. The staff was incredibly kind and great with our kids and they were able to see us quickly both times. For any future urgent care needs we will absolutely be going here and would recommend it to anyone.
I’ve been here a few times and everytime I visit, I leave feeling like all of my concerns were addressed. I appreciate that all of the providers listen, and don’t just automatically over prescribe medications. I receive excellent patient care and customer service from the front desk, triage staff, support staff and providers. I highly recommend them for all your urgent care needs
Went in as a walk in with no appointment. Didn’t have to wait to long. Got in a room and was taken care of pretty quickly by the doctor who was on call. The staff was very nice friendly and helpful. The doctor was easy to talk with and listened to my concerns. The building is clean and neat.
The doctor and medical assistant were excellent. Thank you. I scheduled an appointment and still had to wait an hour and 45 minutes. I didn’t mind because a lot of people were sick. With a packed waiting room full of coughing people, I asked to wait in my car until my turn. I was told no, because they were too busy. To be told I could not wait in my car until it was my turn was ridiculous. My issue was not illness but an eye infection. With so much respiratory illness going around it would have been prudent to allow patients to wait in their cars. I could have checked in with front desk every 15 minutes or they could have text me when it was close to my turn. The receptionist could see how many people were ahead of me on her computer and could have given me an estimate of when to check back in. So many options to help with infection control. The busy people were the medical providers. There was plenty of time for one or the other receptionists to assist with patient check in/out and to help reduce spread of respiratory illness. There was plenty of time for the receptionist to sit and talk about the horrific murder of college students in Idaho, (which I didnt need to hear), have a snack, pull down her mask, let it hang off her ear, touch her nose, mouth and eyes, and then pull it up again without washing her hands. It was pointless for her to wear a mask and was unprofessional. I almost left. Thankfully the doctor and assistant were professional, kind, and skilled. I did speak to someone at the clinic about the reception/waiting room issues before I left. He was receptive and polite. Thank you. I hope the check in/waiting room procedures and hygiene will be improved.
My experience was outstanding. I called to schedule a flu shot and was seen within the hour. I didn’t have to wait. The facility itself is very nice and clean. The staff was exceptional. I had the pleasure of interacting with two employees Stephanie and Tara, both of which were kind, efficient and gentle. I would 200% recommend this office to my friends and family. On another note I did not have any side effects from the flu shot so I’m very glad I got it. I didn’t even feel it. Stephanie was so gentle. Thank you Karen
