Wonderful experience. Paige, the young lady that checked me in was fast and efficient. I made an appointment online and she had my chart ready for me as soon as I walked in. The Nurse, his name was Miguel, was professional and very thorough. Dr Fowler was my treating physician, and she was amazing. She spent time with me, listening to my complaints. I never felt rushed, but the visit was fast and thorough. Thank you all for taking care of me. Everybody was nice but I really liked the doctor. Doctor Kevin O’Connor was an amazing doctor. He was just an amazing person altogether! There aren’t too many places that are open on Sundays. It was super convenient! The check in/ check out people, behind the counter supply masks if you don’t have one, as it makes sense that they require them for now. I appreciate the professionalism from the staff and especially the providers/ doctors, nurses, etc. You walk in and walk out. I was having a little discomfort in my right knee, and the doctor gave me a small evaluation and told me politely and to the point what I needed to know and do about it. She was very nice and it just shows that they care about their patients. Not the kind of place I would imagine adding to my steps, but they were SO amazing I had to post it in case anyone around Asheville needs to go to an urgent care. I fell in our hotel bathroom and cut open my chin and twisted my ankle.
It was $149 flat for a basic checkup, an x-ray on my ankle, an EKG, 1 liter of fluid through an iv, a tetanus shot, four stitches on my chin and an ankle brace.
Everyone was very friendly and took great care of me. I wish this was closer to where I live!
I was satisfied with the experience. Environment is warm and welcoming, and not so “sterile” as some heathcare settings. Staff were friendly and attentive. My care was simple, diagnosing strep throat and getting antibiotics prescribed. They did this in a reasonably timely manner. Was out the door in decent time and went to pick up my prescription and went back home.
I was on vacation and was feeling sick. I looked for an urgent care facility with good ratings.
The care was excellent! I was taken right away. Everything was explained. The nurse an doctor were friendly and competent. I was tested for, Covid, Flu and strep.
A prescription was given and I was on my way. If you need someone, this is your place!
What a great experience! I’ve never been to such a contactless, safe, attentive urgent care. They got me in and out in an hour and provided tea and coffee for the wait. The nurses and Doctor were so kind and patient and in great spirits. You could tell they don’t hate their jobs. Highly recommend.
Another great experience at Range Urgent Care in N Asheville. Every member of the staff is kind, attentive, professional and informative. It was a very busy evening but everyone kept me informed and performed their duties in a fast & efficient way. No waiting in the exam room praying for someone to show up. The doctor was so kind & compassionate and listened to everything I said. She had several tests done right away in the office and my results were promptly discussed with me. I feel relieved that they cared to treat me like a person and help me with my bronchitis. It is such a relief to have Range so close by and know that I can count on them when I need them.
