This place has been in my list for a while and I finally have a chance to try it. The best croissant I have ever try. I got ham and thyme croissant, chocolate croissant, chocolate cookie and blood orange tart. They were so delicious. The crust was crisp and full of flavors. Definitely come back for the croissantsBy Emma Sun (a month ago)Great find. We were visiting Portland and stopped in very hungry one morning and ordered half the pastry menu. The quiche was the best I’ve ever had and I loved how hearty of a portion it was.
I’ve been a bread baker for 10 years with a considerable amount of experience in laminated doughs. I really enjoyed the dough here, as it’s used in the morning bun and other pastries. The croissant seemed overproofed, to me, because the croissants didn’t have an intense crisp on the exterior I often look for. However, I loved the darker bake. Brings forward better flavor.
The almond croissant was conceptually really nice but unfortunately the filling was a miss for me. Really strong alcohol vanilla flavor. I LOVED the ground almonds, though, I just think Amaretto liquor or a good quality almond extract would make them next level.
The morning bun was good but the amount of zest seemed safe to me which makes sense because I think it’s baked into the dough rather than traditionally buttered and tossed in an orange sugar. Still pretty good though. I had just had one at Tartine last month so it’s hard to compete with that!
The woman serving us was lovely and told us when morning buns were right out of the oven so we could get one. Coffee was awesome.
Will definitely be in again next time we’re in Portland 🙂By Chris Childs (10 months ago)Great selection of pastries, cakes and bread prepared at onsite bakery. There are plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your food. We ordered different croissants and cakes and all of them were fresh and deliciousBy mediscover style (3 months ago)What can I say, this place is the best bakery I think I have ever been to! We stopped here after visiting Washington Park on our scooters for a mid-morning snack. We had a ham and cheese croissant along with a black berry pastrie and iced coffee’s. It was truly unbelievably good. We will be recommending this place to our friends and family who visit Portland and will be coming back here religiously on every visit we make to Portland.By Grant Atwood (8 months ago)I had to run to an appointment on 23rd shortly after I arrived and they got the food to me really quickly, I know because I watched the time really closely.
Will definitely be coming back and ordering different items. I could tell the bread and cheese were really high quality.Croque monsieur ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

Great Asian baked goods! I love their fresh cream buns. Tastes like my childhood. A disappointed by the Vietnamese coffee drink. There were too much ice in it, so not worth the price.By Emma (a year ago)Vegan perspective: The Tofu Bahn Mi was pretty good but I would recommend adding sriracha sauce and ask for extra pickled daikon and carrots. Personally I like the Bahn Mi at Nector Cafe better. The tofu is tastier and requires no sriracha. I also ordered the vegan Coconut Ube Mochi Donut, which was also okay. Like the Bahn Mi it just lacked a little taste.By Kurt Abe (8 months ago)Please support this little bakery run by two kind ladies! I live in the neighborhood, and this place is my ultimate comfort food. Whether I’m having a rough day, celebrating a success, or taking food for camping this small business wins for me everytime. If you’re vegan the veggie meat (w/o mayo) is sooo delicious. Best bánh mì in portland hands down. Steam buns and spring rolls are fire tooBy Ebony Hall (10 months ago)Ordered the grilled chicken banh mi and it was really good. Can’t wait to try their other sandwichesBy Melinda P (9 months ago)This is a great place for a variety of baked goods and banh mi. You cannot go wrong
They have savory items, like meat pies in flaky crusts, mini baguettes that are super crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside, wrapped treats like the chocolate covered cream horns (family favorite) and delicate tarts.
They also have Asian flavors like Japanese style cheesecake or matcha rolls.

I always have a relaxing time and enjoy great food when stopping by Bob’s Red Mill. I like browsing their kitchen wares and sometimes shopping for something special. Their food is always super fresh and delicious! Today I enjoyed a refreshing Peach Basil Tea and a delicious Spring Harvest Sandwich with a Side Salad loaded with fresh cherry/grape tomato varieties. The sandwich was huge, and the freshly baked whole wheat bread it came on was melt in your mouth soft. Definitely stop by for breakfast or lunch if you’re in the area!

After a short wait, I ordered
pancakes, sausage. eggs and
orange juice at the counter.
The store has products by the

twenty five pound bags and
a large selection of bulk foods.
You will also find a nice selection of kitchen tools,

I received my order in about twenty minutes and walked upstairs to eat.
The pancakes were light and
fluff, the eggs were not overcooked, and the sausage
was mild tasting.
The store offers free Wi-Fi.
