The lunch meat, breads, and desserts are wonderful! However this shop lacks in quality customer service—mostly coming from the owner. I have only been given looks and when asking about their cake and sandwich options, I was given very broad and quick responses that didn’t help me with my potential purchases. Definitely going to be recommending this bakery to everyone I know!By Adam Bautista (2 months ago)Wide range of pastries and bread this was our first time in the shop so we go a little of list of stuff some of what we got was cheese Danish and apple Danish, peach muffins (had one on my way home and it tasted wonderful) cinnamon rolls cheese cake(slices were small but only cost $2.75) and a slice of strawberry short cake which looked really good. We also got some Bavarian rye bread and a loaf of something called Breakfast bread. I got the mocha mint coffee and it was the perfect amount of mint, not really strong! The sticky bun is delicious! They have hundreds of different coffees from all over the world and in many infused aromas! Also plenty of tea to choose from! Love the coffee bean bags in the decor ! They have a great coffee selection and plenty of different drink options. Wish they have a more clear drink menu though. You’re able to buy the burlap sacks in the front of the store which is awesome. True coffee connoisseurs will appreciate this scenario: sipping on a cup of coffee, while sitting next to bags of green beans, beside the large roaster, with the lingering smell of the last roast, sets the stage for a very authentic experience.
The “old-town” look adds to the charm. They stock a good variety of coffee-based drinks as well as bags for sale. Oh, yes, I almost forgot 🙄…they sell a variety of teas. It was so so good, and one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. I added a little bit of cinnamon and sugar which they have on a little side table. I also thought it was so cool that they had a giant coffee grinder, and they were grinding the beans in the front which made the whole place smell nice. They had food as well, and I regret not going there for breakfast. Great place for cakes and baked goods. They have made several cakes for me and all have been great. Amazing family run small business. Pastries and cookies are great to and make wonderful gifts especially during holidays. Be sure to also try their other place not far away for coffee too.
Very organized with plenty of friendly staff eager to help you. We’re originally from NY, now in MD, and we can’t find really good Italian pastries near us. So we drove to Bings.
Their Black & Whites were outstanding! As good or better than we had in NY. My wife loved the Rugelach (she tried the chocolate, and Cinnamon Walnut). I tried a “Lemon Drop” (?) cookie that was just ok. But I think I just thought it was going to be a lemon iced ricotta cookie. It was just just a bit too dry for my liking.
We highly recommend trying Bings.

It is one of the best and busy bakeries in and around Newark. Staff were very friendly and helpful . The cake I took was one of the best cake I have ever ate. It was so yummy and delicious . I will definitely, recommend their cakes and visit the store if you are looking cakes for occasion.
Amazing quality cupcakes! We ordered a cake for our daughter’s Baptism, and they were the best cupcakes that we have ever had! The cake was beautiful! We will be ordering all our special occasions cakes from here, from now on!
